Can General Hospital Gays move to the front page? It has 2 gay characters. Would be cool to have it up front. Since we haven't seen Brad Cooper since the wedding in June, and haven't seen Lucas Jones since he cut ties with his biodad in July, and Felix Dubois appeared in September 2016 at the funeral of his last and only connection to the canvas, I ask: Are these three characters even part of General Hospital anymore? And if they are still part of the cast, I'd be curious to know if actors who appear this infrequently are earning a living at this.

It appears from the first episode of Season 2 that Russell Tovey's character is gay. He's introduced making out with another guy at a bar (while pickpocketting him).
They have a long way to redeem themselves from the fake gay/gay villian dreck from last year but they appear to be trying to.

The writers do seem to be pursuing a relationship between Sammy and Professor Haitham El-Amin, and it's pretty messy and has potential for some drama. Haitham appears to have a wife, and Sammy is acting partly out of attraction and partly out of desperation for relief from the terrible events in his family life.
And speaking of those terrible events, the writers seem to be pruning the Al Fayeed family tree quite drastically. A lot of deaths in such a short time.

Something always seemed to be holding the writers/producers back. In the beginning they said the actors were too young for the planned story, then almost as soon as they began the story it seemed to stall, sometimes for several episodes at a time. I believe the characters only ever kissed on screen once, their initial kiss. I liked the prom episode, but when they shipped Connor off to Los Angeles it seemed like they were cutting off the story before it really began. Now we hear that Gavin McIntosh is not expecting to be back.
It would be interesting to really know where it all derailed.

The reveal at the end of this week's episode kind of explains why the writers have bothered to actually write a few scenes and a relationship for Mason. I wonder what the reveal means for the future of Mason as a character?

I think Taylor always knew what happened. I think he lied about it. He wanted it rough, regretted it later when he saw the drunk pics and he lied about getting raped. Interesting. My theory of what happened is almost the opposite. I come back to the point of the Captains' Party, which was for the basketball team players to "make the team", meaning to have sex with a girl at the party. Add in Taylor's description that he couldn't consent to sex with Eric because he was intoxicated with something. In spite of not drinking enough to be drunk Taylor couldn't make decisions or give consent. I think Taylor was given a drugged drink. And I think there were drugged drinks at the party because all of the basketball players intended to "make the team". Eric didn't give Taylor the drink, someone else did. I suspect Kevin. And I expect that Taylor wasn't the only person raped at that party.

I'm terribly confused. Don't get me wrong, television doesn't have nearly enough lesbian characters but General Hospital already has three LGBT characters they have absolutely no interest in writing for. Are they really introducing a fourth? Will Christina be relegated to the land of twice per month miscellaneous appearances or will she leapfrog over Lucas, Felix and Brad to actually become a story-driving genuine soap opera character?

I assume that's Corey kissing Mason. Corey is a dead chimera resurrected by Theo. In this week's episode Corey asked Mason out on a date.

I'm enjoying Cuffs. It's kind of how I want gay characters to show up in television shows. A multi-dimensional main character whose story isn't all about being gay, but whose sexuality isn't ignored or minimalized. "Cuffs" is not about a gay rookie who doesn't fit in or who is discriminated against because he is gay. It's also not about a straight main character with a gay best friend.

Oh no, will this be the end of Jonnor as we know it? I know they didn't break up and their last scene together was so sweet but I can't help but to think Connor's move will put a dent in their relationship. It certainly had me thinking it was the last episode for Gavin Macintosh (and Chris Bruno).

Sammy had a couple of interesting scenes this week. In one, his mother discovered him lounging in bed with a naked boyfriend named Bernard. In another scene, it was revealed that Sammy alone inherits his father's estate. It seems like the writers may have an important role for Sammy this season.

I had been following The Fosters off and on since it began, but when the relationship between Jude and Connor began to develop its current direction I went back and watched their scenes from the start. It was interesting to see that the writers seemed to have the Jude/Connor romance as a possibility perhaps from the beginning.
The physical intimacy they are showing is probably governed by the venue ("ABC Family") and perhaps by the ages of the actors. I have no idea what would be an authentic depiction for two apparently middle-class thirteen year old charter school students in San Diego in 2015, but I expect American basic cable to be somewhat conservative. So far we've seen one on-screen kiss (and been told about one that took place off-screen), they've held hands multiple times, and slow-danced together. Would that be about the sum of it for kids like them, or would they be more adventurous?
I think the most sexually charged scene was actually the wrestling match in the back yard before the on-screen kiss. I read that as two boys who were attracted to one another and compelled by their attraction to make physical contact, even if they didn't understand the need they were answering to.
The writers/producers could be a bit more open about that part of the characters' relationship in indirect ways. Stef and Lena could discuss whether or not to talk to Jude about safe sex. Adam (Connor's father) could have an issue with the boys having access to condoms. Daria and Taylor (the boys' school friends) could discuss Jude and Connor. (Taylor had no problem telling Jude that Connor and Daria were "probably having sex" in an episode last season.) Middle brother Jesus (just recast) would probably be the sibling most likely to tease Jude about making out with Connor. All of that could be done without any on-screen intimacy between Jude and Connor.

Does anyone know the name of the actor who plays the unethical lab technician/lab manager with the crush on Felix? I think the character's name is Brad.
