That's okay MM. I guess even your computer is sad about what has happen to Chrolli. I think you're on to something there. It's probably on strike.

Hi, everyone! I'm having technical problems today. I've tried uploading a video three times now, but the upload has been corrupted every time. I'm giving up for today and will try again tomorrow. Hopefully I'll manage to upload part 104 (July 1st and July 5th) + part 105 (July 7th) tomorrow.

Lugia has already provided a clip from the WDR report about Jo & Thore at Cologne Pride last weekend. This is basically the same clip, just with subtitles (closed captions): www.youtube.com/watch?v=12BkMph3X84

I want some happy moments between a bad world news and a bad local news... not: bad world news, saddest VL episode ever, bad local news.... there's too much continuity in these sad evenings!!! Don't you think?? Well, at least there's some continuity, right? Joking! Back when I started watching VL/Chrolli they were my happy place, so yeah, I'm all for something nice and sweet. I just don't want it to be nothing but cute. Have a good rest of the day, everyone. And don't forget there will be no VL tonight. It's Women's Football/Soccer World Cup time today.

I guess almost all Chrolli fans would agree the current storyline sucked big time though so far, at least until Phil's accident. So it's hard to please everyone, but relatively easy to disappoint everyone. The good thing about that is that we're hopefully so close to the low point that it can only get up from there. *is either extremely optimistic or very delusional*

It is true. It's hard to please everyone, but a good mix of both would be nice. Absolutely. But even if we two could agree on what we'd consider a good mix, I'm sure that many others would think it was totally awful. Spoiler: I have a very clear idea about what I would absolutely not have done with this storyline, though.

@mercury: my heart is already broken by this bad SLs... and will be more broken if the show will end... so I think my heart will be broken in each situation there will be... Looks like we'll have to organize a 'Broken Hearts Club', take over VL, and write the stories the way we want them to be. I'm just afraid that Chrolli fans could never agree on what a 'good story' would be... While one person loves the lovey-dovey times, another one is bored to death by those. While one digs the angst, the other one wants sunshine and flowers. What's 'good' for one is 'bad' for the other. It's hard to please people. Just go back and read the comments on Nanna's YT videos from back in 2008 (or the comments on this board from back then).

Hey, Angela! I think I've read that they're working on other systems. Data protection/protection of privacy might be a problem, though. I guess (at least in Germany) you'd have to agree to having them monitor this very private information. Feels like 'Big Brother is watching you' if they could just go ahead and have access to this kind of data without your agreement. psychomary You're not supposed to do anything. You can do whatever your heart desires.

Too bad that the official site videos are always up for one week only. So it doesn't even make sense to add some sort of "to watch the entire episode, click here: " kind of thing I've done that for a while, but it just got people confused because they couldn't find the episodes they were looking for. Btw, really sorry to hear about Hand aufs Herz. I wouldn't have thought that the ratings were that bad. And YAY for the idea of Andreas/Gregor returning to VL. That would be awesome (esp. in the current situation...). However, I don't think there's even the slightest chance of that happening.

In a perfect world German fans should at least try to watch live (yes even if it can be annoying ) and international fans should at least try to watch it on the official homepage too. ) Absolutely, lolaruns. Problem with ratings is that thousands of people could watch VL live on TV, as long as they don't have that little thingy (in Germany it's called 'Quotenbox') that actually monitors what they're watching, it won't help the ratings at all. Like in many other countries, there are only about 5.000 households in Germany who have a 'Quotenbox'. That's 5.000 households representing a population of 82 Million. I absolutely encourage everyone who has a Quotenbox to watch the show live on DasErste (or watch the new reruns that air the next morning on MDR), and everyone else to at least watch the whole show at the Mediathek to let them know that people are interested even though they're unable to do anything for the ratings (You don't even have to watch, you just have to open the video and let it run in the background ). There's a Mediathek link in my YT profile, so it's only ever a click away.

it's bad enough they had one of those 'Sendung verpasst?' messages appear right on Olli's head, but then to have it accompanied by a very noticeable 'whoosh' sound at the same time.... Oh, honey. I know you've got a 'thing' with Das Erste advertising their Mediathek service, but this is not really all that bad. You should see what they're doing to the shows on other channels. This is very harmless. Does this not happen in the UK? It's pretty normal here in Germany. And I've seen it in the US and Canada, too. I guess you'll just have to live with it.
