Today's recap:
NoLimitsChristian reads from a Magazine „Toby is happy with his job, his life and his family until he falls in love with his colleague one day. 'Home-gene' believably tells the story of a heterosexual man, who goes late on the search for his true sexuality.“ Olli says that it sounds like a soap.
Rebecca [REBECCA!] says that it's completely rubbish, if you're straight at this age, you'll stay straight. [okay, that's stupid, even for Rebecca; but she probably just wants to convince herself that she can't be a lesbian] Christian tells her it's not stupid, since Olli 'turned him around' and one falls in love with a person, no matter what sex they have.
Rebecca says that it's a nice theory, but for her it's different, someone has to have nice looks to appeal to her. She's checking out Miriam. She corrects herself, the male looks.
Olli gets a phone call.Rebecca looks upset and Christian stares at her, since she wanted to go to the movies after all. Olli comes back to the table and says that they can forget about the movie, they've got different plans for tonight. Rebecca asks if a new club has opened [oy...], but Olli says it was social services. They can get a child tonight, they only have to say yes. Rebecca says that's a no-brainer, but Christian says nothing.
Back at NLChristian: And she's only one year old?
Olli: Her parents are from Cameroon and came to Germany illegally.
Rebecca [Why, oh, why does she always have to be there??]: And what happened then?
Olli: I don't know. I only know that her father's in prison.
Rebecca: And where is her mother?
Olli: She died, obviously.
Christian: So young and already she's been through a lot.
Rebecca [urgh, STFU!]: Do you know her name?
Olli: Lily. And if you ask me, Lily's deserved the best parents.
Christian: We can only hope that she hasn't realized everything that's happened to her. Now she needs a lot of love and care.
Olli: Does this mean yes? *Christian shrugs* *Olli jumps up and hugs Christian* We're going to be dads! You'll buy the bed, I'll prepare everything for social services. When they'll arrive, everything has to be perfect.
Christian's look is not very convincing.
At the flatshareRebecca's convinced that they should have waited, slept over it. Christian agrees, they should've. A child. Tonight! What if they'll get used to her? What if they see Lily as their own child? What if social services calls and tells them that her father's free again and he wants to take her back to Cameroon? Rebecca replies that she meant the bed, actually.
Outside Schneider'sOlli runs into the guy, who's carrying the wine inside. Charlie's pissed, because the wine mustn't be shook at all.She asks if Olli's got a good excuse for her turning her wine to vinegar and he replies that Christian and him are going to have a baby. Charlie's happy and hugs Olli.
At the flatshareWhy hasn't Christian told Olli his doubts? Did you see Olli's face? If Olli's happy like that, Christian can't say anything against it. First they had next to zero chance for an adoption, then Sabine and Claudia, who see a child just as a subject matter of contract. Everything was so complicated, now it's so easy.
Even when they are full time foster parents, social services could take her away any day. Olli doesn't get that.
Outside Schneider'sOlli shows Charlie everything he's bought for Lily. He's really excited and Charlie says that he's already in love with that child. She asks to come along with Olli.
At the flatshareRebecca's impressed, when she puts something together, there are always two screws left. Christian replies „As if you've ever had to put something together yourself.“ [Nice one, woohoo!] He apologizes [damn] and Rebecca tells him to talk to Olli if he's got so many doubts. Christian can't and Rebecca reminds him that it'll be too late, once the child arrives. But Olli's so happy about her, besides, maybe it's not so bad. Olli knows that they might have to give the child away. And he says that they can do it, they can.
Olli comes in with a huge stuffed giraffe and Charlie. Olli's surprised that they've already put up the bed. Charlie tells Christian that 'the thing' is called Gabriele [*cough* Gabriele Metzger *cough*
] and is her welcome gift for Lily. Olli shows Christian the stuff he's bought for Lily and he might have overdone it a little bit. Christian's upset, he thought Olli would see it realistically, but this is just ridiculous. He says they'll cancel everything before it's too late.
Back at the flatshareOlli says that Christian makes him look like an idiot, only because he's looking forward to having Lily. That's the problem! So it's a problem that Olli's happy about the child that'll be moving in today? No, the problem is that he's already got fatherly feelings towards her. Olli asks Christian if he means that they should take care of Lily, feed her, change her, but have no feelings for her? [okay, they seriously need to get the bedroom set back, this should so not be discussed in front of Rebecca and Charlie] A child is not a plant that needs to be watered every other day.
Rebecca interferes [what a surprise!], she says what Christian means is [oh, so now Christian's lost the ability to talk?] that he's afraid of the moment where they'll have to give Lily away, but they'll already have taken her to their hearts.
Charlie interferes as well, she says that Olli wants to say that they'll have to take the risk and give Lily at least the love and affection she deserves. [why are they not allowed to actually talk to each other??]
Maybe Lilly won't stay with them forever, but until then they'll have to be there for her and enjoy every day together. But Christian's not sure if they can manage it if Lily's being taken away from them. The doorbell rings.
In comes the man from social services and brings them Lily. [omg, she's so cute!!
