I wish they'd give Chris a love interest who's a regular character. Come on, they introduced two new families, but couldn't spare a gay son between them?
With the Aidens and Hudsons one always has less security when investing in these pairings. But yay for the show's first proper gay kiss, and for having a gay character of colour - even if his last name is inexplicably Walsh.

I agree that they should have introduced a gay character with more ties to the street. Also, the actor who plays Hudson, Remy Hii, is biracial himself, so it wouldn't be surprising if Hudson has a father of Irish decent, which could account for the Irish last name. |

Does that mean Hudson leaves again and then comes back again? Or will it be like when Bob Morley left for a while, but Aiden was still around and we just didn't see him? The way the storyline currently is it doesn't make sense if Hudson leaves. He's got a new trainer and a new sponsorship in Erinsborough, so unless something happens in his family why would he leave? |

If it's from the scene I think it is from then it has already aired. It looks like their first kiss scene, with the salads Hudson made when he tried to be romantic but failed epically. Then Chris, realizing his was an idiot, asked him over. |

I am still about a month behind in watching Neighbours -- so I haven't actually watched any of Chris and Hudson's scenes yet. I am hoping to get some time next week to do a Neighbours marathon and get through a bunch of episodes.  |

I was reading the Digital Spy interview with Sachin Joab (Ajay) about diversity on the show, and he mentioned the actor who plays Hudson. I'll hide the part of the text that might be a spoiler: I'm not sure if he's referring to the performance enhancing drugs storyline since I think Ajay and Rani left just before Hudson returned or if there's something else on the horizon. |

Oh, okay. I watch neighbours daily, for the most part. I think the Chris/Hudson stuff is a step up from the Chris/Aiden relationship. Not completely at par with the straight relationships on the show, but still an improvement. A kiss that isn't in the background of a shot!  There are also a few smaller things that happen that make them look like a couple as well, and out in public! calea139, That's unclear to me as well. It is a recent interview, (or at least recently published) but I'm not sure how much he could know being as he's been gone for a while already in Australia. Then again, he probably still friends with the cast, so maybe they mentioned it. He is clearly upset about lack of cultural diversity on the show, and rightly so. It's a very white show, despite how diverse Australia actually is. |
