I know Rory isn't a good guy, but he's so attractive that I can get past what he's done

Chrissy hasn't posted any scenes in a few weeks - but I did run across this channel earlier in the week that does post some scenes: www.youtube.com/user/Fandom2013

I would say Fandom2013 uploads the videos more consistently.
Spoilers (highlight to read): It seems David and Rafael will be having more dates, but I just read the actor who plays Rafael was recording his last scenes last week, so it may be that Aaron and David could go back together eventually.

Well, it’s taken nearly 33 years (the show’s anniversary is on the 18th March), but Neighbours has finally had its first gay ‘love scene’, as far as love scenes go on the show. I’m not sure whether it was necessarily worth the wait; it might have felt like more of a payoff if it had been between a long-term couple like David and Aaron. But I understand that they did it with David and Rafael instead to reveal Rafael’s scars and to heighten the conflict between his feelings for David vs wanting revenge on Paul, so it wasn’t just a gratuitous scene. As characters, they remind me a lot of Chris and Nate, and what could have been. Although Ryan hasn’t exactly been winning people over with his performance, it’s kind of disappointing that he isn’t sticking around so that Rafael can be fleshed out more, like Nate was.
I hate that on top of everything he’s been through lately, Aaron is still being punished for what happened with Rory, and is still pining after a guy who constantly thinks the worst of him. So what, he lied to David for a couple of months about seeing Rory in Paris (and not cheating)? In the grand scheme of things, that’s not a big deal, especially on a soap opera. He has apologised, grovelled, and gone out of his way to make up for his ‘mistakes’, so if David can’t get over it then it’s David’s problem, not Aaron’s. I hope Aaron will get to say ‘I told you so’ to David once this situation with Rafael blows up, but he’ll probably end up apologising for it instead, after the writers somehow make it his fault.

Aaron slept with Rory anyway. He did it after David broke up with him, but it was barely a few weeks after the breakup. So Aaron does deserve to be punished for being so stupidly naïve and weak towards Rory.

Aaron slept with Rory anyway. He did it after David broke up with him, but it was barely a few weeks after the breakup. So Aaron does deserve to be punished for being so stupidly naïve and weak towards Rory. But Aaron wanted nothing to do with Rory for ages; David (and David's feelings) was always his priority. In fact, he was trying to get him to leave town, which is why he agreed to help him with the audition. It was only when Rory convinced Aaron that Mick was targeting him again (after David broke up with him), and that his life was in danger that Aaron let his guard down, because he had nobody else he could turn to for support. And he only slept with Rory because he was upset after seeing David's dating profile - showing that he'd already moved on - and Rory was comforting him. Even after they slept together, Aaron still didn't want to be with Rory, and jumped at the chance to reconcile with David instead. David's the one who assumed that Aaron cheated on him, and accused him (for the third time) of something he didn't do, and would never do. Besides, hasn't he been punished enough? David publically humiliated him when Aaron did that grand gesture to prove that he was sorry for lying about Rory, then tried to goad a reaction out of him by telling him that Rory had slept with someone else (which Aaron didn't care about) and throwing Aaron's declaration of love back in his face; accusing him yet again of something that he didn't do. And now Tyler is in prison for the next 10-20 years (thanks to David), his dad's dead, Mark's relationship has fallen apart, and his mum and sister are nowhere to be seen. Aaron may have made some bad decisions, but the way he's suffering his hugely disproportionate.

David isn't and hasn't been trying to punish Aaron. They broke up because David didn't like how he felt with Aaron. He was always insecure and it made him feel bad about himself. He didn't trust Aaron so he broke up. It was the smart, mature thing to do. Right now Aaron is punishing himself instead of moving on with his life. They were barely together, it's not like they had a 10 year relationship. They spent most of their time as a couple breaking up over stupid stuff. They had maybe 2 or 3 months when they weren't fighting. Their relationship felt very surface and shallow. A couple can break up without there being a bad guy and a good guy. I just never thought they were well suited. Tom Quill and/or Rory were better suited to Aaron. Nate was definitely NOT. Despite how tragic this all might become, Rafael has shown David more genuine affection, attraction and interest than either Tom or Aaron. They have great chemistry and a real connection. Too bad it is all doomed to fail. Sigh... Neighbours star Takaya Honda reacts to David and Rafael's first sex scene

I just catched up with the latest episodes as no new videos have been uploaded to YT.
I must say, the kisses between David and Raphael are way more passionate and longer than those between Aaron and David. And not only the ones in the sex scene, but also the second kiss was quite good. The kisses between Aaron and David were mere smooches at most. I wonder if that's a director matter or if it's the way the actors decide to portrait the kiss scenes. I remember reading an article regarding some critics towards the actor who plays Aaron, who was judged as not being able to perform a believable gay character.
I hope the kiss scenes in the future will be more like David-Raphael style.

I remember reading an article regarding some critics towards the actor who plays Aaron, who was judged as not being able to perform a believable gay character. I hope the kiss scenes in the future will be more like David-Raphael style. Given his performances with other scene partners, I think it's the actor who plays Aaron that was holding back the real emotion and passion in love scenes or making out scenes. The kisses between Tom Quill and David had more passion than any kiss between Aaron and David. Not just the kisses, everything about David and Aaron seemed chaste and passionless accept the very first time they slept together and that was blink and you miss it, shot from a distance. Give what Paige and Jack get up to and how passionate she was with Brennan, there is really no excuse for how dry Aaron's scenes with Nate and then David were. There was a lot of telling instead of showing. It felt like they were together because everyone told them they should be or because they felt obligated cuz of all the back and forth. From the minute David and Rafael met it was like ZING! That's how you get folks invested. Aaron and David never trusted each other and didn't communicate well at all and hugged like they were trying to get away from each other. I know Rafael is probably gone for good but you never know. If he's not dead or in jail for the rest of his life there is always hope. Ryan and Takaya have wonderful chemistry.
