NICOLÁS CABRÉ
AKA Cristian Flores in Botineras.
Nicolás Cabré was Born on February 5th, 1980, in Mataderos, in the west end of Buenos Aires, known for much of his history, as a meeting point between the city and the countryside, a hub for rural commerce, and the main stop for gauchos (residents of the pampas) inside city limits.
Son of a taxi driver and a school assistant, Cabré grew up in Mataderos with his little brother, Duílio. Later, when he bought his first apartment, he went to live only three blocks away from his parents. “I belong here. My friends live here, and I prefer to be near people I love, in the neighborhood where I was Born and grew up.”
Nicolás had promised his dad he’d finish high school, but couldn’t, because he started his career very soon. He wanted to study theater, but ended up never having time to do this.
When he was ten, his mother sent his picture to an advertising agency, and he was picked first for being cute, but right after his first audition, he went straight away to work in the TV show La ola está de fiesta, and since then he’s never stopped working on TV, cinema and theater.
In 1995 he won the ACE Award (Associación de Cronistas de Espetáculos)as Best New Actor for his work in Algo em Común (Something in common) in which he worked along with Ricardo Darín and Ana María Picchio. After this award, he’s career rocketed up.
"Everything you do is showcase for what's coming. I had the luck and honor to work in Algo en Común with my hero Ricardo Darín. I won awards, and people looked at me with different eyes. But If I hadn’t done other jobs before, nobody would have even looked at me. It’s all part of growth, and all the characters I played, I embraced and cherished.”
Cabré loves books, cars, and hates shopping. When he was a teenager he did taekwondo, but now his favourite activity is snowboarding and he’s got eyes for other extreme sports. He doesn’t like to talk about his personal life and many girlfriends. He opened a bar in Buenos Aires called Dubai, in Palermo Viejo, the oldest part of the large Palermo area, which reflects an older Spanish style in architecture, often "recycled" with modern elements, and a must for visitors to our capital.
•Been to the bar, but never seen him :-( Don’t know if it’s still his.
EL SUPER CHIQUI
El Super Chiqui, as called by our dearest Chrys, has been a loyal and supportive friend of our beloved Flaco Riveiro. His awesomeness shines.
Now I'm inviting our favourite writer, Chrys to drop us some lines of appreciation about our hero, and the reasons that made her call him super, a bit of all the wit and brightness we so much love to read on her recaps.
Chique has been described by Marga while talking to Tato, in the teaser for the next episode:
“He’s a real good person, and has always been. He’s “hecho de Buena Madera” (help? He’s solid?) He’s honest, he faces things, the opposite of you and of me. That’s why I think it’s important to have someone like him close to us, because he definitely convert us into better persons…”
FUNNY CHIQUI
AWESOME CHIQUI

Thanx to extremista.com.ar
Best friends on TV and films make a lot of room for our imagination, no? That’s why all the way from Dreamland comes Anchique. They love each other, they’re loyal, they share secrets, pains and joys, and they look hyper cute together. In short, they’re a perfect match.
