The end of the show is coming < --- Anticipation is a mature ego defense mechanism
I think that it's safe to assume that we all / the majority want a "happily ever after" for Flaco and Lalo BUT we cant always get what we want...or can we...
How do people think that this relationship will play out / be written out?
For the choice of "Ending the relationship on their own volition", the assumption is that they both stay alive but voluntarily go their separate ways regardless of whether they continue playing soccer.
If you pick OTHER, feel free to post what you think will happen Frankly I'm hoping the two characters get a spin-off show and that this was a lead-in dream sequence

This couple is so different from the others. It's like an acid trip yet I can't help but watch it. ;D I say one of them gets killed!

Ok, I voted for "Remain secret lovers, only one will play soccer," since I think it's the most plausible outcome. Of course this is soap land, so the outcome could be much more soap-tastic lol but I think either way Lalo continues to play soccer. Since his story, even before the writers made him a love interest for Flaco, was about a young player finding his way to success, I believe in the end he gets to play a successful career.
I'm not so sure about Flaco's outcome, or their relationship. So my vote here was for them as secret lovers and Flaco retiring (since he's close to retirement anyway) but I think he could keep playing as well. As for their relationship, I think it's either secrecy or they split and Flaco comes out.

@massonville, why do you say the end of the show is coming? I understand it's a long break because of the World Cup, isn't it?

Botineras will enter a decisive phase. We anticipate that the series will go on more than previously anticipated; at first 120 episodes were planned that should have lasted until the World Cup's kick off, though due to the success of the show, that has around an 18 points ratings, being usually the most watched tv show of the network ( along with “Susana Gimenez” and “Justo a tiempo”), will reach the 150 episodes mark, going on until July.

It's all a matter of perspective massusa I consider anything that's more than half way done, almost over ... since we're at episode 98, I would like 100 more episodes to retract my comment ;D Could someone confirm or refute whether the show will go on hiatus for the World Cup? That would be greatly appreciated

I'm pretty sure it'll go on hiatus. Pretty much everything does around here.
