We don't know yet,I think that because of roman memories deniz can't show intersting in man, something must happen that he will be ready to move on for next man and I think it will be joscha

Deniz hasn't shown that he's attracted to Joscha at all, and Joscha has been behaving very poorly. Deniz seems drawn to Melanie for some reason. That could change in the future, though. Now that Joscha is being honest with Deniz, there's an opportunity for him to be who he really is around Deniz (which is a common storytelling technique to draw two people together). But only time will tell, and I think the spoilers are still too vague about the direction this is going long-term.
Although... if Deniz tries to date Melanie once she and Joscha are broken up, Joscha would probably think that Deniz encouraged him to come out just so he (Deniz) could see Melanie. Joscha would be upset about that, but it's not insurmountable. And how will Melanie react when she learns that Deniz knew Joscha was gay but didn't tell her? Would she reject him?
With all of that said, they're telling Joscha's coming-out story now. Once he's out, who would they pair him with? He's going to try to stay in the closet as long as he can, apparently, but that won't last forever. At some point, Joscha may very well just tell Deniz that he's attracted to him (more than the kiss). There aren't any other gay or bi men on the show, so if Joscha and Deniz are both here for a while... I guess we'll see.

So Mimi just posted episode #1771. I checked spoilers again ( here) and it looks like next week is the big reveal. I'm looking forward to it, even though it won't be his choice to come out.

Hmm. Re-reading the spoilers again, maybe next week won't be the big reveal. Maybe it's just that Melanie figures it out but Joscha continues to deny it. Of course, Mel figuring it out is significant. ep 1771 was Wed 2013-09-18 - Deniz admits to Mel that he's in love with her ep 1772 was Thu 2013-09-19 - no spoilers posted here ep 1773 was Fri 2013-09-20 - no spoilers posted here ep 1774 for Mon 2013-09-23 - Melanie finds a gay site on Joscha's computer, but Deniz covers for him ep 1775 for Tue 2013-09-24 - Joscha breaks up with Mel, who figures out Joscha's secret ep 1776 for Wed 2013-09-25 - Mel accuses Joscha of being gay in front of the team ep 1777 for Thu 2013-09-26 - Joscha denies being gay but is bullied by his teammates. The translation of this one is hard to follow. ep 1778 for Fri 2013-09-27 - no spoilers posted here ep 1779 for Mon 2013-09-30 - no spoilers posted here ep 1780 for Tue 2013-10-01 - no spoilers posted here ep 1781 for Wed 2013-10-02 - no spoilers posted here ep 1782 for Thu 2013-10-04 - Joscha avoids Mel which upsets her, so he is afraid of what she might do I just found this preview clip on RTL's site while trying to find a schedule. Looks like I was wrong; Joscha is happy when he finds out Deniz is in love with Mel. Huh. www.rtl.de/cms/sendungen/alles-was-zaehlt/die-awz-wochenvorschau-ab-dem-13-09-2013-3270a-9cd9-75-1636756.html

Yeah, I saw that too and I was like "What?" Is this the same guy who couldn't keep his eyes of of Deniz a few weeks ago? The same guy who dreamed of having sex with Deniz in order to perform with Mel? And now he's like "Yay, you're in love with my girfriend, that's great!" WTF? Very inconsistent writing. I just get the feeling that the writers don't really know where to go with this story and character beyond the outing and they're just biding their time until sth comes up. Joscha's conflict is driven by the fact that he's a gay football player. If he's outed, what next?

I found some original German spoilers on the RTL site for 1776 and 1777. For what it's worth, here's my attempt at English translations . After their break up, Melanie doesn't want to admit that Joscha has no feelings for her and she fights for her love - in vain. Furious and deeply hurt, she suggests that Joscha is gay in front of the whole football team. (I'm not sure about "wirft" here. Google thinks a literal translation would be "raises" or "throws", but that wouldn't make sense in English so I use "suggests". I also considered "raises the idea" or "throws out".) In front of his teammates, Joscha tries to refute Melanie's accusation that he's gay - unsuccessfully: he is bullied by his teammates. Completely desperate, Joscha breaks down after practice because the reactions of his teammates have confirmed his biggest fear: his football career would be over if the truth ever came to light.

"Sie wirft jemandem etwas vor" means "She accuses someone of something." The verb is not werfen (to throw) but vorwerfen (to accuse). It's just that the word is written in two parts, because our German grammar is idiotic like that.

Does anyone know how long the role of Nick is for? Well, acording to the official site, it's about three months and he's mostly there to stir things up between Katja and Can.

I thought the spoiler suggested that Joscha was happy because he thought Deniz would make a play to "steal" Mel away from him, thereby letting Joscha out of having to break up with her. Too bad Nick is only here for 3 months. I wouldn't mind seeing him run out of town (preferably sans clothes) but I also think he has some potential. Along with Can, he is the more realistic homophobe, the kind most of us know in real life - not homicidal maniacs, but thoughtless idiots who go around making hurtful comments that really help to dent the pride and self-confidence of closeted gay guys who really just want, more than anything else, to fit in. (Of course there are also gay-bashers who resort to physical assault and even murder, but those are not the most common kind. Homophobes who watch soap operas see these violently homophobic characters and become convinced they aren't homophobes because they're not the kind that's often portrayed on soaps. When in fact they can be just as damaging with their words and not their fists.)

I thought the spoiler suggested that Joscha was happy because he thought Deniz would make a play to "steal" Mel away from him, thereby letting Joscha out of having to break up with her. Yeah, I got that but one would think Joscha would at least be a little jealous if the guy he's been lusting for for a few months now would fall for another. BTW, just realized that Tom Chroust is the head writer for AWZ these days. Well, that explains Deniz falling for Mel. It seems to be a common thing in his work: 'OMG, they kissed and now they are madly in love!' Just like in VL with Coco and Olli, then Chrolli.

The new spoiler sound interesting... some hot action between Joscha and the stripper? I wouldn't mind... :-)
And will it be same stripper like always? This blond dude we saw before at AWZ and even at VL. I wouldn't mind that either!

Nick is the type, seemingly, to say hurtful things and mean them. Another type are just thoughtless, who make comments not considering the hurt that it will cause and will pretend that they are not really homophobic at all when confronted. I'm not sure which is worse.

Thanks for the new spoilers. To be honest I am very disappointed about how the story is going. A fake marriage? Really? It's for me a stupid way to extend this story. Btw I saw yesterday's episode (thanks to Mimi) and I have the feeling that the guy called Pascal will have something to do with Joscha. the way he looked at Joscha give me this feeling. We'll see........ About Deniz-Joscha-Melanie I don't know what to think about but I am with DifficultDiva when she says that if it has to happen between Deniz and Joscha I need to see a real interest between the two . And now I don't see that. Deniz is interesting only in Melanie and Joscha I don't know how is really interested in Deniz considering that from the preview of one of this week's episode he seems happy when learns that Deniz is in love with Melanie.

I'm sorry but right now as this story is being written I have little to no interest in it at all. It is not character driven at all but plot driven (which I wouldn't mind if the plot were good or well thought out and constructed)but the plot is muddy at best and nonexistant at worst. That Deniz kissed Mel once and all of a sudden is deeply in love with someone as shallow and manipulative as Mel, is just dumb to me. That Joscha's feelings for Deniz seem to turn on and off like a light switch is pathetic in an effort to keep his story going rather than deepening his feelings for Deniz to heighten the level of angst. While his fear of being outed in the football world is real and compelling if told in the right way. As it has been constructed now it is nothing but one big long boring cliche. That Can gets away (for the most part) with his homophobic comments with a cousin like Deniz and an uncle that is Marion boggles the mind. That he is seen as comical for it is offensive to me. Ignorance isn't funny to me nor should it be accepable in order to drive the plot along. And I know it's just a soap, but even a soap can be weill written and thought out, we know this because there have been times that AWZ has been and it happened in the not so distant past.

Yeah, I will agree that the writing right now is rather bad. But at least something is happening and the awful Joscha/Mel relationship is over. As for Deniz being in love with Mel. At least the show has a history of relationships that never happened, especially when it comes to Deniz. He was in love with Stella for a long time and she never returned his feelings. And he had a bad experience, being only second choice, when he was with Sarah. The show just had a long story, where Bea was in love with Ingo, and then Ingo was in love with Bea, but they never got together. So there is hope. And the spoilers support that hope. Mel is too busy taking revenge and hopefully will turn off Deniz. Those 'feeling' that Joscha had for Deniz where only mentioned in the (not very accurate) spoilers. We never saw them on screen. Deniz was rather a performance help for Joscha. But I have to say I like their conversations at the moment. I personally am hoping for a drunken one night stand for Joscha and Deniz and maybe have Mel stumbeling over them in the morning, that could be fun. And I would love to see a little bit of the old, impulsive Deniz. While I like the fact that he is now more mature it's a bit sad that his old self vanished. He is waiving the moral flag too often, but at least he shows a soft spot for Joscha. As for Raquel and Joscha: Meybe there will be a wedding day blow up. Ingo will probably be the one who puts and end to the fake wedding. Although he might take his time, since he just (partially) ruined another wedding, because he was in love with his best friends fiance. Looks like the show really likes to repeat stories right now.

But as she didn't out him it explain his fear she would do it and her fighting over him with her "rival".
