It was to be expected that nothing would change. Olli still thinks his own honesty is overrated and Christian is annoyed again about Ropp. It's not that unrealistic though, some people spend their lives quarrelling with each other.

Ok was I the only one who noticed the "life partner" part of their conversations at the beginning of the episode. I mean, Christian's face when he asked.... beautiful! and it could mean so much more!!!

Maybe they want to hint at something for us... but eeeeh, that would mean the current writers are subtle and plan ahead... so it's probably not the case.

I think Andi just joked about that because it is the longest relationship that either of them has been in so it is like that are already a married couple. Same for Christian saying it to Olli. I mean they've lived together from the start of their relationship, they have been the most well adjusted couple on the show for awhile (even though they've been bickering lately they are still well adjusted in comparison to other couples), they are going to own No Limits together...

I mean, Christian's face when he asked.... beautiful! and it could mean so much more!!! No, I noticed it too. Actually, there's been a bunch of subtle (or not so subtle) references like this lately. But this one was the most disheartening to me and perhaps the most distressing moment of the ep. for me because of Olli's response to it. "Business partner or life partner?" He said, "...LIFE PARTNER" Olli!!!! Not boyfriend, not housemate, not roommate, not live-in lover, not fuck buddy... but Life Partner. And it just got sucked into the black hole of Olli's barely contained horror that his worst fear about the disposition of Gregor's share of NL had been realized. And how does he respond? He gives the coffee table a desperate look as if it could somehow help him escape this nightmare and tells it, "Both." The man of your life lets loose with "life partner" and all you can think to do is try to spook him by telling him he's gonna have to do some accounting and then regurgitate the accusation that he called in the fuzz to teach you a lesson? Oh, Olli. You always know the right thing to say. Absolutely freakin' shameful. Luckily, Rob came in later and put a smile on Olli's face so he could be bubbly for the vlog. Whew.

What is so special about the term "life-partner" ? We don't have this difference of boyfriend/girlfriend and just friend. I think it's quite normal to call your partner your "Lebenspartner/-gefährte" in Germany, or is it just me?

I am not sure what life-partner means in Germany, but the way I understand it is a step further than just boyfriend, it is a partner for life, like husband.

No, people say life-partner when they are not married. So it's like the opposite of husband. I mean, if someone introduces me his/her partner as life-partner I start out from the fact that they are not married. Of course it means a serious relationship, but Olli and Christian are together for 2 years now, I think it's clear from both sides that it's meant to be something serious. So there is no deeper meaning for me in this term (in germany), but maybe I'm just to unromantic and don't see the special thing about it.
