In Chrolli's flatThe next morning Andy (where has it been all night anyway?) tries to enter the flat, which proves to be quite difficult, as Olli’s coat blocks the door.
Andy squeezes his body through a gap that is just sufficiently large for him to enter the room and discovers the mess the boys left while undressing last night.
Andy (grinning surprised): “Wow!”
He picks up Olli’s coat and crosses the living-room wondering.
His smile gets bigger and bigger, as he encounters Chris’ torn shirt on the kitchen table.
Andy (obviously impressed): “WOW!”
He picks up the damaged shirt and examines the shirt’s buttons that are dispersed throughout the floor.
Then he walks to the radio and turns it on.
(Music on the radio: ALICIA KEYS – If I Ain't Got You)Andy (contorts his face disgusted): “Jeez! Don’t they have Rock music over here?”
But before he is able to switch the station, a drowsy Chris enters the living-room.
Andy turns away from the radio, puts the torn shirt towards Chris’ face and shakes his head.
Andy (smirking): “I don’t believe it! What the heck happened here?”
Chris (smiling slightly embarrassed and picking the shirt out of Andy’s hands): “Well, ...umm, that ... umm ... seems to be ... broken, isn’t it?”
Andy (admiring): “You can’t let the both of you be unsupervised for even one night...”
Chris smiles sheepishly, hikes his shoulders and starts to collect the dispersed clothes one by one.
Andy (who isn’t able to suppress his laughter): “Coffee? Or do you rather need vitamins?”
Chris (who also started grinning): “Both!”
Andy enters the kitchen and trips over one of Olli’s shoes.
He shakes his head, grins and starts brewing coffee.
He then looks in the kitchen’s cupboards for a glass for Christian’s orange juice.
He selects the biggest one.
Chris leans towards the kitchen table, checks his hips briefly and contorts his face slightly.
Afterwards he crosses his arms in front of his chest and his fingers and head start to move slightly with the music.
When he starts to whistle to the song rather off-key, Andy grimaces.
Christian doesn’t seem to be bothered by that; on the contrary – he even finds that amusing.
Right that moment, Olli enters from the bathroom, fully dressed and obviously in a hurry.
Andy, who was on his way to serve Chris the orange juice stops in front of Olli.
Chris beams at his boyfriend with joy.
Andy (again with a big grin on his face): “Woha!”
But Olli just grabs the orange juice and empties the glass in one gulp.
He picks up his coat and looks in Chris’ direction (who still smiles and already starts to move towards him).
But Olli just looks away, hurries to the door, slips through and slams it shut from the outside.
Andy looks equally surprised and puzzled as Christian does, raises his eyebrows and asks: “Haven’t you been good?”
Christian, who still holds the collection of clothes in his hands, just looks confused and shrugs, failing to understand what just happened.
(Music at NoLimits: DEPECHE MODE – Wrong)At the NoLimitsCharlie once again visits NoLimits and encounters an angry Olli who gives each of his two waitresses (Miriam and the other one) a roasting without proper reasons.
Miriam spots the questioning look in Charlie’s eyes, shrugs and shakes her head.
When Olli notices his aunt, he just says “Hello!” and tries to walk past her, but Charlie drags him closer to her towards the counter.
Charlie (taunting but smiling): “Well, I have been greeted more nicely.”
Olli (huffs): “Yes, I’m sorry.”
When Miriam makes a little mistake, Olli immediately shouts at her again.
Miriam throws the towel onto the counter and already wants to leave the room steaming with anger, but Charlie stops her with some kind words and an indulgent smile.
Charlie (blinking encouragingly at Miriam): “Could you please serve us two espressos?” (and to Olli with a serious voice): “And you will join me for a moment!”
She grabs Olli’s arm and drags him to a quiet table.
Olli follows her, slouching his shoulders.
When they reach the table, Charlie pushes him into a chair.
Charlie (ironically friendly): “Have a seat!”
She circles the chair, puts one of her hands onto Olli’s shoulder and bows down towards him.
Charlie (asking with a motherly voice): “What is it?”
Olli hangs his head and sighs: “Oh, Charlie...”
Miriam approaches the table with the two espressos.
She puts Charlie’s espresso down gently whereas she drops Olli’s quite noticeable in front of him onto the table.
Acting upon a small gesture from Charlie, she stops with arms crossed.
Olli looks bashfully at Miriam and afterwards at Charlie who gives him a sign with her eyes.
Olli (looking at Miriam with his innocent look): “I am really sorry. I know, I am a real pain in the neck today.”
Charlie smiles at Miriam who hesitates for a moment, starts smiling as well and rolls her eyes.
Miriam: “Men!”
After Miriam has left, Charlie takes Olli’s hand and touches it gently.
Charlie (motherly again): “Well? Sweetheart, tell me, what is it?”
Olli (still letting his head and shoulders hang and hesitating) “I don’t know. I ... I ...”
Charlie (probing understandingly): “Lovesick?”
Olli looks at her with a dreadful look on this face.
Charlie: “You didn’t have a fight, did you?”
Olli: “No, that’s not it.”
Charlie: “Well? What else?”
Olli (with sorrow in his eyes): “It’s ... it ... it just doesn’t evolve!”
Charlie (totally shocked): “You wouldn’t have split up, would you?!”
Olli (appeasing quickly): “No, No. Of course not.”
Charlie (taking a deep breath of relief): “Jesus, Oliver. You had me really scared there for a moment!”
Olli smiles apologetically, but grimaces again quickly.
Olli (elaborating): “It ...”
Charlie (in disbelief) : “You don’t have problems in b.. well, you know...?”
Olli: “No.” (continues with a sheepish smile and lost in thought): “Last night was awesome!”
He even seems to blush a bit, while Charlie smiles with amusement.
Charlie (probing): “But what’s the problem then?”
Olli (again sad): “It ... it just doesn’t evolve. It seems that our relationship just doesn’t progress any further.”
Charlie (raising her eyebrows): “I’m afraid I don’t completely understand. What do you want to say?”
In the background Luise and Gregor enter NoLimits.
Gregor has his arms around her and they laugh.
Suddenly he lifts her up and turns around with her.
He puts her down gently again and kisses her.
He looks at Miriam, who stands next to the counter.
Gregor (proud): “My wife!” Luise looks at him radiant with joy.
Olli, who watches them longingly, sighs and looks at Charlie.
Charlie, who slowly begins to understand, nods and runs her hand gently over Olli’s cheek.
Charlie (caring): “Oh, Olli.”
Olli looks desperate.
Charlie (smiling reassuringly): “Have you even talked about marrying yet?”
Olli (bitter): “When Chris only HEARS the word ‘marriage’ he loses it.”
Miriam (who walks by incidently, smiles): “Marriage? Who's getting married?"
Olli (again slightly angry): “Nobody!”
Miriam raises her eyebrows and walks away.
Olli (resigning and to himself): “That’s the problem!”
To be continued!
