Today's recap: Scene 1: Flatshare – kitchen Footage changes between the bathroom (unconscious Chrissi) and the kitchen (Olli plus Judith). Olli is in the kitchen talking to Judith about Chrissi being in his best shape. Chrissi has a goal of his own again. Working in NL didn't work for them as a couple. So Olli is relieved that Chrissi is trying out for that job as a fitness coach. Judith asks if they wanna win some harmony reward as well as being couple of the year already. Cute dialogue: O: Chrissi has achieved more than enough today. If I will go in there now, I'm gonna do more than just wash his head! J: No details of your sex life!!! Scene 2: Flatshare - bathroom Judith knocks on the door and we hear her speaking to Christian: „Are you done yet?!? The food is getting cold again!“ She calls Olli for backup. He enters the bathroom and finds the unconscious Christian lying in the bathtube. Olli frantically and desperately tries to wake him up. Judith stops the running water and then goes to call for an ambulance. Olli is pretty shaken. Scene 3: Flatshare – living room Paramedics are taking Chrissi to a hospital. Olli blames himself, while Judith tries to reassure him, that a) Chrissi is old enough to know his boundaries and b) he seemed fine, when they returned from their training session. So maybe Christian just slipped and knocked himself out. Upon hearing this, one paramedic states, that he can't see any external damages. Gregor enters after seeing an ambulance outside and sees his brother being taken to a hospital on a stretcher. Scene 4: Emergency room Olli paces up and down. Finally he spots a doctor who tells him that Christian was given a sedative and should wake up soon. They did a few tests on him, but there won't be any results today. What they can rule out however, is that it was a heart attack. Chrissi is moved down the hospital aisle and Olli immediately rushes over to him, strokes Chrissi and whispers, that all will be well again, definitely. As if he heard him, Chrissi wakes up and asks for water and Olli. Scene 5: Hospital – the next day Chrissi tries to joke about the whole situation, whereas Olli doesn't take it quite so easily. C: Do they have coffee here? O: Not for you anyway! C: But for you! If I only look half as bad as you do, I really do worry about me. Chrissi tells Olli to stop fretting. It surely was just something to do with his circulation. He smilingly asks the doctor who just entered, to tell his boyfriend, that he really is okay, otherwise said boyfriend won't stop treating him like an invalid. The doctor remains serious and talks about an infection, that wasn't treated properly and has now spread. Chrissi has myocarditis. Both Olli and Christian are shocked when the doctor continues to tell them, that Christian will have to stop competitive sports. Preview: C: I simply should do what everyone tells me to and how I am feeling will be ignored totally???
O: Please listen! It's a matter of your heart!
Info for www.chrolli.de was shown in between. Christian and Olli will start blogging tomorrow

Sonnenschien: Danke That is some cute dialogue and I worry for tomorrow and the future. On the plus side our boys did look really cute today. The thing about the paramedic saying there are no external injuries, he whack his head!! There has to be some sort of bump! That is an external injury.

Wow! What an episode. I find this so unbelievably sad -- I can't imagine what it would be like to be either of them. Christian is learning that all of his dreams are impossible and that he is not the person he thought he was; Olli is just horrified that anything could be wrong with his beloved. His love shows so clearly here.
This episode is heartbreaking!
Thanks Sonnenschien for the recap --- it was wonderful!!!! Ivan -- those caps are incredible. Thanks for the video too!

Has an infection ever been talked about before in earlier eps (2006 - 2009)? How did he get this infection? Did he get it in jail, vacation, etc.? Those things are important to know.

The look in his eyes here is like "Check to make sure Christian is okay."

You bring up a good point I only started watching what Nanna subbed so people who have watched for years...anything or is this going to be something from his childhood? Connected to his parents or something?

The only thing I noticed (rhia did, actually) was that he acted strangely playing fooseball. However, I do not know for certain if an infection had been talked about before. Question: Did Gregor say anything of interest today?

Well they were at that lake, maybe he was cut or something. Or would that be too soon?

Kes: I also think this might be a reason for Thore's recent weight loss (I love him however he is, but this was mentioned a while ago and I didn't want to say anything then because it was spoilery at the time). He is supposed to be ill so maybe that was a subtle way of conveying that.

Possibly, except that he looks incredibly cut, muscular, and fit to me -- not thin and sickly. Just my .02 on the way he looks.

Thanks Ivan! I liked how they had Olli and Judith talking and then cutting to unconcious Chris in the tub. And When Olli shouts at Judith whilst the paramedics are examining Christian. The final scene was very good too! Great eye-acting from the boys. Poor Chrissy!

I keep thinking about Olli following Christian and the paramedics out into the hall in his boxer shorts. I was relieved to see that someone brought him some actual pants at the hospital.

Rhiannonhero, I kept expecting the paramedics to tell Olli to get back, or move out of the way. ;D

I think they both acted the way I would expect their characters to act. Olli, with much more visible panic than Christian. Seems about right to me.

A very good episode! I agree with Tikhon about the juxtaposition of Chris in the tub and Olli & Jud chatting away in the kitchen.
Olli is something of a worry-wart, but it's understandable here. Christian said he was tired. He pushed Christian to keep running. Then they got it on at the flat. My take on Chris' POV is that he just passed out from exhaustion, so he was not as worried. Olli is still freaked out from finding him unconscious in the tub. I would be.
And then we have the doctor who just has to come in and give us bad news. BAD DOCTOR! We want a second opinion from Dr. Becker!
Oh, and I half-expected to see Olli running around the hosp. in his boxers. LOL. I hope they brought some underwear for Chris too. those hospital gowns can get a little drafty in the back.
If we see either of these two in the hospital next summer... I will be mad.

I was noticing the difinition in his arms yesterday when he was running. Very nice. But Thore does seem slimmer. I suppose if Chrisitian has been doing other (stationary) workouts (not running) he could still be getting fit and slimming down, yet still be out of shape (running) for his endurance test. NON-spoiler based spec: Did Olli bring something back with him from Ibiza?
