Heya all - what's up?
I know I joined late, but I started learning about the Christian and Oliver story from the German soap Verbotene Liebe on YouTube (danke for the English subs, Nanna aka ichglotzutube! And yes, I'm also known as EyeSooGuy on YouTube) last month, on April 23rd to be exact - how that started making me watch it, long story.
As I watched all the parts of the C&O story from beginning (Nov 2nd, 2007) to the current, damn I'm very impressed with the way the actors Jo and Thore portray love as it is - between two human beings, regardless of their gender. Hell, some of the scenes - especially Parts 45 and 114/115 from Nanna's YouTube channel - even had me grabbing for the tissues, lol.
I really wish the USA would be more open with gay, lesbian and bisexual people and not censor them on TV shows. Heck, I'm an oral deaf guy who's a bisexual myself.
Oh, say come to think of it, regarding deaf people, they utilize a language with their hands - here in the USA, they have American Sign Language. Most deaf people have individual name signs and even have name signs for hearing people as well - a name sign is usually the first letter of a person's name (either first or last - or both) in fingerspelling and can be placed on the body anywhere, any way.
When I started watching the C&O story and with additional supporting characters (like Gregor, Judith, etc), I came up with name signs for most of them, lol - especially C&O.
Anybody here know sign language? If not, it's cool.
Well, I hope I can participate more in this forum. See ya!
