I wouldn't consider Kieron as "lying to her face most of the time". Hasn't he basically kept the secrets of anyone who has told him things in confidence? As a good priest and good friend should. He just hasn't been forthcoming with details about John Paul when Myra has asked about who her son has been seeing. He did lie to her face an a few occasions, something a good friend/good priest would never do. And he acted as her confidant, listening to her secrets and her worries about her son - he did keep everyone's secrets but it takes more than that to be a good confidant. I think it was mentioned before by someone, but would you go to a psychiatrist with the problemes with one of your children if you knew they were sleeping with that child? He was pretending to be something he was not: an independent party. That is lying too. That is not being a good priest. Note also that Kieron has not blamed Myra for outing him, he blames only himself (I had it coming...). JP is angry at her, some of the wedding guests were, but he isn't. And I think the reason is that he does understand how important her faith is to her, how much trust she put in him and he knows full well how much he has betrayed that trust. You make some compelling points. Put in that perspective, Myra's reaction is a bit more understandable. Plus, she did go back to apologize for disrupting the wedding. Ack! I just hope everyone - the McQueens, Kieron, the Deans - is present when Niall is finally exposed as the devil incarnate he really is.

Yes, she went back to apologize although I thought by now she'd have forgiven at least John Paul - and it seems she hasn't really as he was staying away from the hospital and she wasn't too enthusiastic when Mercy went to visit JP. But I still believe she'll come around. I also think Kieron is trying to find information about Myra's son in the hope of making it up to her, sort of. I also hope for a nasty reveal for Niall - the way he's behaving makes me sick. Causing grief for every single McQueen and then pretending to be their "saviour" - same pattern with Nana, Tina, Michaela, John Paul... I think the next few months are going to be interesting in that respect.

You're welcome, CF. Hopefully the links/site is up and running smoothly. There seemed to be alot of traffic to it earlier today.

You're welcome, CF. Hopefully the links/site is up and running smoothly. There seemed to be alot of traffic to it earlier today. It came in bits and pieces but it was enough to get an idea of what the real James, Jake and Barry are like - just wish they could have done an interview with one of them as well. James is just aaawww, and Jake is really cute. I really REALLY wish that they would start doing Kieron's hair like Jake's on the show, it makes him so much more attractive, younger, less priest-like. I can understand why it had to be like that when he was still a priest, but seriously, it's time to make him look his best!

Today's clip of John-Paul and Kieron is up. Thanks to Mark for the fast turnaround. www.youtube.com/watch?v=keLqT_m-8vgI loved today's clip . Kieron and John-Paul going about their day, as any other couple in Chester would do. I'm glad that the show's continued to have John-Paul pursuing his dj'ing and using those connections to develop a business plan for himself. Yet, I would have loved to have seen more of Kieron's 'interview'. I wonder, if they asked him to 'show them his moves' during the interview?!

did I smell a bit of Craig in this episode? John Paul scheming to rack up some money... agree with dkellergrl- even though it wasn't a flashing episode for these two, once you're out and proud you're bound to have days where it's not all angst and passion but you are just going about your day like everyone else. and yes, I would have loved to see that interview too! on another note: I don't like that bouncy walk that JP has been doing of late

JP has always walked bouncy. Is it a 'new kind' of bouncy?

I liked the episode, because I thnk JP knew he had to help Kieron out financially. In fact, it was less about helping Kieron, and more about contributint to their finances as a couple. JP has really grown. That was a very unselfish thing to do.

JP has always walked bouncy. Is it a 'new kind' of bouncy? Not sure. The first time I noticed this walk was during the episode where he and Kieron broke up at the window in Niall's flat (when Michaela overheard them) - and it was very clear again in the epi where they met outside the McQueens' house after Myra confessed giving up her eldest son to Kieron. Today he was happy and in the confession epi he was drunk so that would explain but the first time it really didn't make sense. Unless he always already did it, but I think I would have noticed it earlier then. I could be wrong. I just think it looks a bit silly (especially in the breakup epi).

Today's JPK clip. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK1neYwl_7AThank you, Mr. Sprinkles ;D. Evil Bastard and I'm referring to Niall. Ugh. He makes me want to slap him silly and say "leave them alone". Barry's nice though. I want my own Kieron Hobbs. The fact that he stopped what he was doing, in order to help Sasha putting up flyers is one of the things that I love about him. It is not wrong OR impossible for him to WANT to continue helping people in ways that truly matter (he doesn't have to be a Priest in order to do it) AND still be with John-Paul at the same time.

I don't think I want to slap Niall. Expose him to his own machinations, maybe *evil grin*. You cannot have Kieron. I've claimed him. Sorry to say but he's mine . Or, in other words, I'd really like someone that caring, as well. It's not just JP that he cares for. The Sasha thing is definitely a good example of how he just cares about everyone. In the end, that's probably the most important thing about being a priest. In a way, priests are counselors/psychologists without the phd but with vows. It's definitely not wrong or inconceivable for Kieron to continue to want to help. That's part of the Calling, after all.

I'm so excited about seeing tonight's clip. ;D ;D ;D ;D Mr. Sprinkles doesn't have it up and ready yet. I'm being very calm and patient. John-Paul finally said those three words "I love you" to his lover and now FIANCE, Kieron Hobbs. Fabulous news. I'm elated. Hello, lurkers

Yes, it was rushed, but still sweet and heartfelt. I love vulnerable Kieron, but I hope they don't used that to say that John Paul feels more guilty than in love. I think it's possible for John Paul to be in love, and to be bothered by all that Kieron has sacrificed.

Or, maybe, as was suggested on another forum: Bryan Kirkwood is beaming two different versions of the same episode to the McDeaners and the McPriesters, by using TWO 'special satellites' for the broadcast.. Hmmmm.
