QUOTE harmonium "But I thought we aren't allow to post clips that are more than 10mins long?"
Hey Harmonium
I haven't posted a clip anywhere. I don't think anyone has.
I saw the film as part of a collection of short films but I don't own it.
Is there a particular clip of the show that you've seen somewhere?

^I found it on some gay-themed movie blog. What I meant that if you are going to post it, I don't think it is allowed as the short film is more than 10mins long.

Sorry I think I was unclear. I never intended to post the clip of the actually move here on the board I meant that I would provide a link to the clip wherever it was Outside of the board (if I find one) As far as I'm aware, providing a link to something that exist somewhere else doesn't violate the "length" restrictions as long as the clip isn't actually posted here on TGODT board.

^Oh. Coz I thought that the rule still stand even when "hotlinking" some link from outside the board. So does that mean that as long as it's found on youtube or whatsoever that are not uploaded by members of the board, it is OK to post the link here even if it exceeds 10mins?

In the "Short Films Policy" at the start of this section here, GayTime says it's okay to post links if the movie is under 20 minutes long. Does that clear things up a bit?

Ooops. So it's under 20mins long. Hmm. Thanks for clarifying. Didn't check properly.

Found it and watched it. It's not my favorite (some parts felt a bit akward to me) but a really nice short overall. I loved the ending; that felt the most genuine of all. (PS. Don't skip the opening credits and don't forget to turn on the sound. ;D )

I noticed no one every posted the whole movie One of the most beautiful shorts I've ever seen. The actors, the cinematography, the direction. Brilliant. I think some bits of the dialogue are awkward and clunky because the characters are in an awkward and clunky situation It's one of those moments where most men would simply NOT TALK about it ever again because the talking is where the REAL intimacy comes in. Talking makes it real. One of them is kind of basking in the afterglow and wonderment like "WOW" while the other is FREAKING OUT but still in his heart like "WOW but the are both in this situation together. I feel like it is a perfect depiction of the wonderful things that can happen if you allow yourself to be open. It gently challenges the idea that only women can be open to "experimenting". When it comes to love and sex and desire the human capacity for connection and is vast and infinite. Unfortunately none of us live in a world where identity and sexual practice is completely free of social inhibitors and traditions and taboos (no matter how liberal or open our society or environment, there is always fear and pressure). But imagine if we could be, just for a small space in time allow ourselves to be moved to action by desire alone. Something magical could happen. NOTES: Don't skip through the opening credits The last line is just like "WHOA!"Thirteen or So Minutes Part 1 Thirteen or So Minutes Part 2

Thanks for posting these, Kradamantium. I watched the opening credits twice, and didn't see anything remarkable. What did I miss?

Finally! Someone answered me! Thank you. Okay, so I listened and watched intensely (again), and the sound of kissing is hot, but I still don't get the "Whoa!" comment.

I think the WHOA-comment refers to his last comment: "This is nice.........SHIIIIT!" (Like OMG, I really likes this guy and this feeling...wow)

Okay! This is really really starting to bug me. ;D Are we talking about the opening credits? Because there isn't anything said during or after those, only the sound of the guys kissing. Then we cut to the scene where one guy asks "What's going on here?" (or something like that). I don't really think the last sentence of the movie, or the ending credits are exactly "whoa" moments. So I'm going to have to PM Kradamantium, because it's driving me nuts! Thanks for your help, though.

aussie, Yes it's the opening credits. I'm pretty sure the orginal comment to make sure the volume is turned on is because, basically you can hear them , I assume, having sex during the opening credits.

Thanks, Tihkon. I've had a reply from Kradamantium, and yes, you're correct. I Heart Thore also mentioned the sound at the beginning, but it didn't seem extra special to me (I must be jaded, or watched too much erotica ). I was thinking there might've been something extra, similar to what's behind the credits in Patrik 1.5. When I saw it at a cinema recently, I was disappointed when people jumped up and walked out straight at the end. I felt like saying "Wait! There's more!".

Sorry I caused so much confusion. I felt like hearing them in the opening credits just helps to build the tension so that by the time you see them on screen, you're right there where they are and it's not like "all of a sudden here's these two naked guy". It's just a build up kind of thing. I thought the last line was so incredibly touching. It broke my heart and made my heart sing at he same time. Men just aren't really allowed or encouraged to feel things so acutely and do the happy/scared cry. That's usually something you see with women. I felt the actor just nailed all those simultaneous emotions and really took me there with him. It was just beautiful to watch this guy be willing to be so completely and utterly vulnerable (emotionally) in the bubble of this experience even though he was also terrified about the possible implications. Anyway, it made me feel "Whoa". But I know not everyone will feel the same way.

I posted this in the comments section of the blog entry but thought more folks might read it here: ================= Very nice short film. I see the film maker is planning on making a feature film with these same two actors in the lead roles. www.orourkeentertainment.com/Entitlement/MAIN.htmlCarlos Salas (the actor who says "shit" at the end) is in two more gay-themed films: Chased (another short film from the same director) and The Dark Side of Love (currently in production, also stars Matthew Montgomery).

That's great news. I really loved Carlos in this short. I'd be interested to see how the feature manifests.
I'll watch anything with Matthew Montgomery.
There is something about him. He's very charming and articulate and smart in interviews and he's got that perfect combination of sweet, earnest and sexy.
No matter how good or crappy the movie, I always love HIM in it.
Glad he's getting so much work. He has two films out now and he's producing a 3rd.

I enjoyed this short even with the awkward moments.
The "This is feels nice.........SHIIIIT!" part reminds me of Carsten and Lenny. I think Carsten said SHIT when he looked a the picture of him and Lenny at the subway and he knew too.
Awwww... ;D
