I found a Norwegian short on youtube, it is actually subbed in French, but I translated it to English.
The priest: “I was glad he came by. We have missed him in the youth group”
The mother: “He has been gone over 24 hours now. I haven’t heard a word since he visited you”
The Priest: “he will come back”
The mother: “you think?”
The priest: “I have faith in Ole Petter”
The mother: “I want to know what you said to him”
The Priest: “we had a good conversation. He was sincere with me.”
The mother: “what did you say?”
The Priest: “I said that Ole Petter had to break it off with his friend. That he had to be aware that God did not create his sexuality but is against God’s will.
Ole Petter. “Do you think he hear us?”
The priest: “I know he does”
Ole Petter: “he is so far away”
The priest: “no, you are far away”
Ole Petter: “how?”
The priest: “because you live in sin”
Ole Petter. “I don’t know what sin is anymore. Before I thought sin was to hurt someone.”
The priest: “it is”
Ole Petter: “but if I only do good to others, how can it be a sin?”
The priest: “what you do, it hurts God.”
The mother: “I asked him to see you”
The priest: “you have to understand I couldn’t leave God’s will out of it”
The mother: “God’s will? He’s 16 years old and desperate. He came for your compassion”
The priest: “I really don’t know what I could have done different.”
The mother: “I begin to understand.”
The priest: “I would have failed if I didn’t hold him responsible for what he did to God.”
The mother: “your God”
The Priest: “there is just one God”
The mother: “yes?”
The priest: “what I say might offend you, hurt you, but that is not the intention.”
Ole Petter: “and what is the intention?”
The priest: “God wants you to chose another life”
Ole Petter: “he’s good to me, and he helps me”
The priest: “yes, God is good”
Ole Petter: “no, not God, my boyfriend. He says he will teach me how to defend myself. His hands are big and soft.”
The priest: “you believe in God, Ole Petter. That is a belief that comes with responsibilities.”
Ole Petter: “I believe in God, but I don’t know if he believes in me”
The priest: “You can’t think otherwise that it didn’t hurt to talk to him. You are wrong if you think it didn’t hurt me. I also have to fight to understand God. I fight every day.”
The mother: “you should fight more to understand the people”
The priest: “that is one and the same”
The mother: “is it? I almost feel sorry for you.”
The priest: “you can’t think that I don’t feel his despair”
Ole Petter: “can I come in?”
The Priest: “yes”
Ole Petter: “I couldn’t do what you asked me to”
The priest: “I understand”
Ole Petter: “I went to talk with him, but I couldn’t”
The Priest: “won’t you sit down?”
Ole Petter: “if God hears me, then he knows I can’t chose another life.”
The Priest: “God hears everything”
Ole Petter: “then he knows.”
The priest: “I was glad he came by. We have missed him in the youth group”
