Thanks as usual Ivan! Goodbye hot, handsome, Uncle Lars. We barely got to see you in Chris and Olli's story. But I did see you in some practically naked love scenes on Youtube! ;D Hate Lydia's hair. Love Olli with the stuffed bunny rabbit. Loved Christian's face pulling.

I'll miss Lars. Now Sebastian is getting all the lawyer work on VL. I loved the scene with Carla. After everything that happened between them they' re great parents. And Lars basically helped the Ollian story. Because of his fight with Charlie Olli wanted to stay and Lars wanted him to live in the apartment. In every scene with more than three people I get the feeling Christian is misplaced Without Olli he wouldn't be in the middle of this bathroom session I think.

Like I said on the General Discussion thread, the new cut makes her look like a blonde version of Rachel Maddow to me, except that cut looks better on Rachel. I am not sure how they could fix Lydia's hair. Maybe shorter and pixie it?

For research purposes I'm sure.... ;D But seriously, I saw them way back in March on Soapfan's channel. The one that keeps on getting deleted and changed names etc...They were part of his story with Nathalie I think. Sorry...

Today was clearly Bad Hair Day!
1) Christian has a major case of Luke Snyder hair going on. Not a soap character we want him emulating.
2) Lydia's new 'do gives her an appearance that somehow combines Christie Whitman, Carly Fiorina and Florence Henderson. No, that wasn't meant in a good way.
3) We're losing Lars and his beautiful hair (and everything else)!

I'm sorry to see Lars go. They didn't make enough use of him in the Olli and Christian story after he moved out of the apartment, but it was good to see him when he did have something to do with the story. I really enjoyed the faces pulled in the bathroom by both our guys. The faces in Ivan's caps while Olli manipulates Lydia's hair were just as funny as the faces Thore makes in that scene. I also thought that Olli is funny with the bunny.

Here’s one video with a half-naked uncle Lars… www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgOCv4sjZFwHow dare they use Christian and Olli’s song??!!! So, who has Lars’ old room now? Judith? These rooms are huuuuge… that’s one mighty large flat!!

Thanks again, Ivan! Those screencaps are so clear and show up the boys beautifully. Loved the bathroom scene. Olli and Christian look as if they're from "Queer Eye" ;D The translation will be very interesting. I don't mind Lydia's haircut. Loved Olli's rabbit impersonation and the funny mask he wore to say goodbye to Lars. He's full of fun, that Olli. And he also has magical healing properties! He's been wearing a band-aid for days now, and suddenly there's not even the faintest of marks. Wow. Lucky man.

The more time Christian spends with Rebecca, Judith and Lydia the less likely he is to ever relapse into heterosexuality!

Loved Christian's face pulling. I was going to call him the Man of 1000 Faces, but that bathroom scene alone pushed his skill well over that threshold. I'm with you guys. Not loving Lydia's haircut at all.

They couldn't even bash Sebastian because Rebecca was in the same room. I was waiting for Christian to forget that and saying something mean about him. I bet he would have been embarrassed.

Wow, that was a really pretty episode. I'm convinced that there are some really great directors on VL, some normal ones and some kinda bad ones and that it makes a huge difference who is on call on a specific day. This was a good one. Everything looked so... saturated. Loved the Schneiders taking a walk together. And everybody had great hair and clothes.
I also really loved getting be really pissed about their legal situation at the beginning. For those who enjoy fan-wanking about the legal aspect, in this episode Lars said that they hadn't found any proof, so it was Olli's word against Axel's, but that that didn't mean that the police had ended the investigation yet (kinda sounded like the police are still looking and if they find more proof then the case can be tried; like maybe the DA wants to see if they can find more evidence before they try it).

Here is the English Subtitled version of today's episode.
We've used some corny "southern" talk to convey the Bavarian phrases Lars was using at the end of the clip. Blame me for how corny they may be!
Thanks Nanna and Ivan!

Thank you Ivan, Nanna and Tihkon! As always you guys did a wonderful job!
I swear that Christian looks like he can just barely refrain from exploding around Lydia these days. First he had to live through the Judith love triangle and now he's got Lydia slowly going insane. You can just see how he's struggling to hold onto his patience.
Lydia must have stayed up late and watched The Legend of Billie Jean because she's definitely channeling Helen Slater here. What is it with Germans and the 80's these days? Olivia's wardrobe is straight out of a Duran Duran video too.
The Bavarian bashing at the end was cute. A co-worker from Frankfurt once gave me a lengthy lecture about how Bavarians aren't German, they're Bavarian. I suppose it's rather like how we feel about Texans. Lars was very funny. He'll be missed.

Ahem. Speaking as one of the few Southerners here, I have to say you didn't get our 'phrases' right. I think, maybe 50 years ago people in certain areas spoke in this manner, but I've never heard anyone speak like that in living memory---except by Yankees who think they know how we speak. heh heh. The only word we still use is y'all (from the ones you tried to use). I find most non-Southerners still don't know how to use it properly. But ok, I'll attempt to take it as 'humor'. ;D Geoff

Make some allowances here. After all, Southerners I encounter base way too much of their understanding of how people from where I live should sound on The Sopranos.

ROFL! Yeah, I'll take it in-stride. It's not like I haven't seen/heard non-Southerners try to speak like us before. Geoff

You want real funny? My Dad, originally from South Carolina, but who spent most of his life in New Jersey went and grew a Rhett Butler mustache when he moved down to Georgia. The first time I saw it I collapsed in hysterical laughter and couldn't stop for like 15 minutes.
