A big THANK YOU from me as well, Ivan, for the clip and the screencaps. Lots more right clicking and saving today! Olli looks gorgeous both in his work shirt and vest, and in the black shirt at home. I'll be spending some time in PhotoShop shortly, making some icons.

I agree this episode's C & O moment was rather sweet.
It's what we all dream of - that sort of reassurance from our significant others.
My favorite part wasn't the kiss, but after it, when they both had their eyes closed.
I liked it so much, I made it my avatar. Awww.

Yeah, the kissing scene was really more than cute!! <3 I also find it so sweet how Olli leaned on Chris, that was just awwwwwwww!!!^^
But what I like most of today's epi is definitely the situation between Olli and Chris. It was the first time that Olli really felt unsure about something since him and Chris are a couple. Until that point Chris has always been the one who needed comfort and strength because he struggled with his feelings, he didn't know how to act in his boxing career and so on... But now OLLI was the one who didn't know if what he did was right. And Chris gave him the confirmation he needed.

It was such a nice moment.....and I don't even know what they said yet.....(waiting for the awesome Nanna subs!) But the body language said enough! Thank you Ivan for the quick turn around on the video and your great screen caps! You always get just the right caps with just the most wonderful expressions!

I wanted to make a new avatar out it as well, but I noticed there were already two people who changed theirs into an avatar of today's episode. So I'll stick to sexy Christian for a little while... ;D

Yes, this was a very important relationship test and Christian passed with flying colors. These last two episodes established that there is a mutuality in their relationship and that it's not just Olli propping up Christian. When Olli was worried and insecure Christian stepped up as the strong one to support him.

Okay, can I just mention that I find Lars extremely sexy? All the more so when he's angry and being all lawyer-like.
As for the boys, you know Christian's telling the truth when he says he would have done the same as Olli did (although he'd probably have done it sooner). Olli really needed that reassurance at that moment in time.
Much praise to Nanna and Tihkon for the copious amount of work this week's episodes required. We love you guys!

Thank you Ivan, Tihkon, and Nanna!! Having to get up so early for work, I actually fell asleep watching Dr. Who tonight, AND, when I awoke around 11:15pm, one of the very first things I thought of, was, "I wonder if VL has been subtitled!!!" Forget going back to bed for right now, I am soooo glad I checked!! As with so many others, I have been waiting for this display of support from Christian for Olli and I am head over heels for their scene in the apartment. Unlike so many others , I secretly thought I wouldn't actually see it before something ominous happened to their relationship. I am relieved that Olli told Lars, and more relieved that he conversed and shared with Christian . I have to admit, all this time, I have been thinking even with the closeness and bond between C/O that there was still some wall up between them that was keeping them from being totally intimate with one another (I'm not interchanging intimate with sexual) . Olli still had a face up to me...always acting like a cute little puppy in love, subjugating his feelings on every issue as long as Christian was happy). Really now, I feel that Olli was the one or probably still the one with a wall up. In this scene, he finally treats Christian like a partner in that he opens up to him...displays his need for comfort and is a little surprisingly made aware that Christian will give it to him so readily---I'm referring to his hesitancy in even revealing what he has done and what that will potentially mean to Christian and his career if Olivia acts on her revenge blackmail threat. Olli finally relaxes his shoulders and leans into and on Christian once he sees Christian stands behind him and is proud that he has done the right thing. I just feel that this is something Olli hasn't always allowed himself to believe, that Christian will be there for him if he gives him the chance...maybe now he can see that this doesn't have to be a one-sided romance in that he has to always be the one to hold up Christian and he can finally see imo (it's all my opinion but I just feel the need to type IMO) that Christian never asked him to do that anyway...that he also has always wanted it to be a true partnership where he can and will back Olli when needed...that not only are the feelings mutual, but the love is equal and mutual as well. Am I just sleepy? Probably...but I really loved yesterday and todays episodes...to me they have opened up a real arc in the relationship between C/O!!

It's a real shame that apparently he hasn't inherited Olli's superior relationship skills considering two of his girlfriends left him to be with lesbians and all his girlfriends seem to keep leaving him to be with various Lahnsteins (Hanna -> Carla, Nathalie -> Ansgar, Susanne -> Carla).

Maybe he's angry and lawyer-like a little often? When a straight woman consistently dates men who turn out to be gay it's called "The Curse of the Pink Wand". I don't know if there's an equivalent term for straight men whose girlfriends run off with women. Although I can imagine all kinds of jokes questioning his manhood. Maybe Lars needs to start looking into some man-loving? It seems to be working so well for Olli. What the heck, Gregor, Lars, Sebastian...they all need boyfriends! Let's redo VL for Logo!

Finally, finally, finally - the dynamic between these two changes - Olli is the one in need and Christian the one to support. And my - didn't Christian just step up to the plate and some. Totally supporting Olli regardless of what the implications might be for his boxing career.
I agree with you Seven14 - up till now, I think Olli has held back a little - he's put so much effort into trying to be the perfect boyfriend, he's not always been open & honest to Christian (how many things has he done for Christian behind his back). Now he's finally found himself in a position that he's lost control of and the implications for that against his beloved Christian could be quite serious. It makes him totally unsure and hesitant.
For me Christian's reaction - the extended arm, the cuddle, the reassuring kiss finally indicated at the maturity of where this relationship is now at. There has never been any doubt that Olli loves Christian - and maybe this is the first test that will allow Olli to realise that Christian really loves him too.

Awwww, Olivia is getting all caught up in her schemes and lies. This is why I love Olivia, you can always be sure that she'll mess things up eventually. (Would I want her as a friend? No. Do I love watching her scheme and fail? Oh yes. She's not competent or evil enough to be in the Evil League of Evil, but she's very entertaining.)
Like everybody else, I adored the Ollian scenes. Christian being there for Olli, even though Olli may have jeopardized Christian's career (especially because it's true - Christian would have done exactly the same thing, and would in fact have thought less of Olli if he had let Olivia blackmail him on such a serious issue). They seem far too good, and, well, normal to be in a soap (not that I'm complaining). Who could have known back when Olli was pining and Christian was in deep denial that they would be this great a couple?

I think for Olli it was much more complicated than just needing support from Christian. It was Olli all along who asked Christian to make compromises for his dream and now when he was asked to do (a big) one, he himself couldn't do it (not that he didn't make any before). Plus one thing may happen he was dreading the whole time, that he'll be responsible for destroying Christian's dream. And he may just start to realise that he may have made Christian do things that were very difficult for him. So it was all the more important that Christian gave his support to him.

Sadly know. General explanation seems to be that women find him just too nice and safe and normal and boring. Since he is on a soap, he is dead meat ;D
As for Christian supporting Olli, I thought it was interesting just how tentative Olli was when he confided in Christian, both today and yesterday. And of course I really liked Christian's reaction.

Thanks again, VL Team! What can I say? Very cute episode, indeed. You all have talked a lot about the cuddle and the kiss on the couch, so sweet, I have nothing else to add. At last, Chris is comforting Olli for a change, as it usually happens just the opposite. They're so in love! I liked the interaction between Olivia and Lars, the latter's reaction was less bad than I would have expected; I hope Olivia won't act so bitchy towards O&C then. I also liked the scene in which Chris approaches Judith at NoLimits and stands there without saying anything for a while. He isn't still talking but he is there to support her. A true friend. I didn't understand what Chris tells Gregor when the latter gives him some advice about his training: he takes a bow and says "Ja, Massa buona". What does that mean"? Now we only have to wait till Monday to know what Olivia is gonna do...

I think it's a mocking of old fashioned movies where the poor stupid servant has to thank the enlightened master. I'm not really sure which movie or book it's based on. But when it's used nowadays it's usually used to point out slightly colonialistic or post colonialistic attitudes that the Europeans might still have opposite Africa, Asia etc. Or generally to mock anybody who thinks they are sooo smart or a little know it all.
For example you might use it on me whenever I can't resist the temptation to launch into a longwinded explanation of boring things.
Yes, Massa Buana Sahib Effendi LolaRuns, yes.

I can't see Olivia going through with it. Her bluff has been called and she has nothing to gain now from outing Christian; all it will achieve is completely alienating her from Olli and costing her her only real friend. And while she can be stupid and short-sighted, and certainly isn't short on bitterness, I don't think she'd want to do that. As has been said before, she's incredibly selfish, but not the kind of evil-for-the-hell-of-it that others on this show seem to be.
Nice episode yesterday - I don't have anything that insightful to add except to agree with the people above who think it's nice to finally see a bit of a reversal with Christian having to help Olli through a tough time. And they really are just adorable - I'm not surprised there are now 80 new banners and avatars from that couch scene ;D

Christian said it because Gregor was so bossy about what Christian should do, so he pretended to be his servant.

And he may just start to realise that he may have made Christian do things that were very difficult for him. So it was all the more important that Christian gave his support to him. Christian said to Olli once before that he considers their relationship more important than his career. But I'm not sure Olli really believed him at the time. I think he believes him now though. Christian put a stake in the ground and made it clear Olli shouldn't have submitted to Olivia's blackmail and that he would not have done so himself. Thus he absolved Olli from any guilt he might otherwise have felt over the whole thing. You could tell he was nervous about it and trying to put on a brave face for Olli of course. But that just makes this an even more significant demonstration of his commitment to Olli. Putting his arm around Olli and kissing him was a clear statement that they will face the problem together. One thing I just realized though. For a moment at Schneider's when Olli hissed at Olivia how disgusting it was to blackmail him, Charlie and the waiter guy both saw and heard. But then they vanish from the rest of the scene. What's up with that?

I was totally wondering the same thing Psionycx! In the video Olli and Olivia get heated...look to their left and see Charlie and Angelo (the waiter) looking at them...THEN O & O both move to their left down the bar...which would seem to bring them closer to Charlie and Angelo ...but as the view widens out...Poof...no Charlie and Angelo.
What a forgiving Boss/Aunt Charlie is...1 employee is fussing with a former employee loud enough for her to hear so possible more patrons can hear as well (although they did look alone at the bar), and she just walks away....probably Charlie is a little passive aggressive...if they can slove their problem without her...she is happy.

Maybe Schneider's has the same bizarre sonic properties as No Limits? This could be a common feature of German architecture. They are very talented in the field after all. Restaurants where you can snarl at people and others just a meter or two away can't hear you would be very useful.
Given that this is her niece and nephew, and that the word "blackmail" was in the discussion I'm really a little surprised that Charlie isn't leaping into the fray. She knows what Olivia is like after all. I'm sure she'll get the whole story from Lars though.
It was just weird because one second they were there staring in horror and then the next...*POOF*...gone.
