This series was announced as part of the 'GMMTV 2024 - Up & Above Part 2' showcase. It has actually had quite a long gestation to reach this stage as it was originally mooted as an upcoming project way back in 2021 by its previous studio Wabi Sabi, then going under the title 'My Broccoli'. For undisclosed reasons the series kept getting kicked into the long grass, although Wabi Sabi insisted it hadn't been cancelled and it finally did resurface last year as a revived production now going under the name of 'The Vampire Project'. However, Studio Wabi Sabi's recent restructuring of their business has seen the show now coming under the ownership of GMMTV who have renamed it 'Revamp The Undead Story'. It stars Boun (who also wrote the screenplay) and Prem in the main roles of Ramil and Punn, with support from Santa Pongsapak ( 'Between Us', 'My Only 12%') as Ciar, Kay Lertsittichai ( '55:15 Never Too Late'), who was a late replacement for Boss Chaikamon, as Jet, Stamp Panachkorn as Pokpong, Luke Peemsan in his debut role as Mekhin, and Mark Jiruntanin ( 'Sky in Your Heart', 'Cherry Magic') as Methas. It's directed by New Siwaj, who just recently finished helming his last series for GMMTV, ' We Are'. Synopsis: "Punn is the owner of a vintage shop. He's intrigued by his regular customer Jet, a museum owner with an air of secrecy, who eventually hires him to restore artwork in an old gallery. While there he unknowingly wakes up a vampire who has been asleep for a millennia."

As expected, they have recasted just about everyone but BounPrem. So now GMMTV will be doing 2 vampire series. Wonder if this would have any effect on the Golden Blood series
