As mentioned in the Hub, I thought it might be wise to open a thread for this series early due to the constant drip feed of video clips and snippets that are being released by the makers. So, for those who might not have been around in the early days of BL, this show will be a tenth anniversary remake of what is generally regarded as Thailand's first official BL series. It's adapted from the two volume novel "Love Sick: The Chaotic Lives of Blue Shorts Guys" by INDRYTIMES, with this new production being made by Tia51 ('MY Universe') with a much bigger budget than the original. The relatively large cast are made up completely of rookie actors with Almond Poomsuwan and Progress Passawish taking the coveted roles of Phun and Noh. There have been no details released as yet as to who else will have featured support roles so I'll not bother adding all the names of the rest of the cast here yet, however their pics are below so we can see what they look like! Incidentally, the spelling of Phun and Noh's name seems to vary every time I read an article about them - even by Tia51 themselves who have used Pun, Punn, Phun and Nu, No, and Noh in the past, though admittedly this could also be down to how the articles have been translated.
Synopsis (based on the original series and novel): "Phun already has a girlfriend, but his father wants him to date his friend's daughter. Meanwhile, Phun's little sister Pang, is obsessed with boys love stories and is adored by their father, who might not listen to Phun, but is likely to listen to Pang. So Phun needs to convince Pang that he has a boyfriend so that she will help talk their father out of the idea of him dating his friend's daughter. Noh is in need of a higher school budget for his school club, or he will be in huge trouble. Phun knowing he is able to help Noh out with his problem, decides to ask Noh to become his fake boyfriend in exchange for helping Noh raise funds for his Music Club. However, the two 17-year-old high school boys gradually find themselves falling in love with each other for real after the deal brings them closer together."
