There's not really much to say about this series that folks don't already know. Made by Moving Picture Co and produced by Idol Romance, who were also responsible for (amongst others) 'Roommates of Poonduck 304', 'Wish You', 'Kissable Lips' and 'HappyEnding Romance', it's the South Korean version of the famous Thai series that itself was based on two companion novels by Candy On. One was the Tutor/Fighter story and the other was the Saifah/Zon story. The basic premise of the Thai show was actually taken from the more fantasy orientated S/Z book with Zon finding himself in the BL world of his sister's online fanfiction, and it appears that this Korean version will follow that same script. The actors playing the main roles are Park Chang Hoon as Ko Yoo Kyeom (Fighter), Lee Sang Min as Woo Sun Woo (Tutor), Lee Ye Hwan as Kim Ji Oh (Saifah) and Lee Jung Min as Jung Lee Won (Zon). Max and Nat from the original Thai version will pop up in cameo roles. It is directed by Kim Eun Hye who also helmed the minor BL mini-series 'Blue of Winter'. Synopsis: "Although he lacked good grades and height, Lee Won is a passionate individual. One day he discovers that his younger sister, Lee Jin, is writing a Boys Love novel in which he and popular but mischievous campus student Kim Ji Oh fall in love. Moreover, she claims to have seen the two of them kissing in real life, which Lee Won denies and impulsively brags that if that were true then the rest of the novel should come true also. Weirdly, after that day, events from Lee Jin's book do start to happen to the two of them in real life; and to make matters worse, their friend Sun Woo, who also featured in Lee Jin's story also begins to get involved with Yoo Kyeom, a senior in the same department, just as happened in the novel. Could it be that Lee Won has caused Lee Jin’s imagination to truly become a reality?"Here's the MyDramaList page Teaser 1: There will be eight episodes of thirty minutes duration, the first of which will premiere on Thursday 24th August. It will get it's international release on iQIYI.

well, at least it won't be screwed over by covid restriction. Hoping to see a more consistent Kim Ji Oh/Lee Won storyline without covid screwing everything up

Seems like they are keeping the double main couple concept. Hopefully they at least cut the side couples

Not a huge fan of the "Saifah" character, as he appears way too stern compared to the main character.

The show was a bit meh in the end. And not as good as the original. It just isn't really possible to fit everything within the 8 episodes, and they cut so much that everything felt rushed and lacks character.
