  This series from Avex Pictures in collaboration with World Star Entertainment is the first foray into the BL genre for both companies and they haven't strayed far from their comfort zone, since World Star are a real life talent agency responsible for promoting up and coming trainees including the Thai boyband XI Monster. Two members of that group have main roles in this series; 'Zubom' (Phipat Wichasu) will play Top and 'Jaymin' (Theerachet Yannawattana) will play Juju, with further support from Art Pakpoom ('Till the World Ends') as Ryu and Lukkade Methinee as Khun Serena.   Synopsis: "A group of teenagers who have dreams of becoming a world-class boy band have to go through hard training and fierce competition in order to become artists of the World Star camp. Amongst them are Top and Juju, who start out as enemies but over time gradually develop from rivals to friends, then steadily and secretly advance to 'more than friends'. Faced with the dilemma between finding unwavering true love or living their dream to the full, what will they choose?" Hopefully this boyband BL actually end up being good. I love boy band AUs when I read fan fic, and I been hoping for a good BL about it, but so far nothing.

Ep 2 and 3 were made Private When both episodes appeared in the clear yesterday, I did wonder why they hadn't made an announcement about it. In retrospect I can only assume they made a mistake when they were uploading the episodes to their channel and forgot to geo-block them. I think they lasted around 12 hours or so in the clear before World Star noticed and made them private. Such professionalism! |
