Found this on Youtube. Apparently it's a Canadian tv show:
SkyMed is a one-hour drama about the intense personal lives of the young nurses and pilots flying air ambulances in remote Northern Canada.

They're not the principal protagonists, but both are regulars and there is surprisingly more exploration of their relationship (including a love scene) than I expected.

Great news! I actually really like SkyMed. It's a great show, most of the storylines are good, including the gay one. The only storyline I didn't like was the stupid baby storyline. But everything else was good. It was nice to see the indigenous cultures too.

Oh I missed this somehow. Glad to see it's available in Paramount+ BR as well. Gonna watch it!

Six episodes into season 2 and it's gayer than ever. the cheating storyline is not it... it seems that lesbians are getting more substantial storyline this season and all we get is a mess after mess

I like SkyMed. I was glad that it came back on. But this time it is so much gayer than I feel like the first season. Is this show trying to bring out more gay people.

I like SkyMed. I was glad that it came back on. But this time it is so much gayer than I feel like the first season. Is this show trying to bring out more gay people. It's the same gay characters who were there last season. (The new one was introduced towards the end of season 1.) If anything, season 2 has moved on from the gay romance aspect of it and leaning into more of the drama. In season 1 we actually saw the gay couple all lovey-dovey and this season they're constantly teetering on breakup and don't get the same intimate scenes. Heck, even the cheating took place entirely offscreen. The only real fan-service scene I think was the volleyball in the snow. But there was nothing explicitly gay about that scene, I'm pretty sure it was for all the fans since straight women also like to see half-naked guys the same way straight men would've liked the women players in their lingerie!
