This one has flown under the radar a bit but there is a gay male couple in this show. They aren't by any means the central couple (far from it!) but Ricky (played by Lion Armas) is the male best friend of the lead (a trans boy played by Ander Puig, who will appear in the next season of Elite). Álex is played by Enzo Oliver. They are the guys on the far right in the first photo below (scroll to the 2nd photo for both of them together). Nil Carbonell (not featured in the cast photo, but he's the redhead) also plays a gay character named Gabi. It's solid LGBTQ+ representation which you would expect in drama class!
Here's the description of the series - I used Google Translate so please forgive any errors:
Unfortunately there's not much material on the gay characters on Youtube, except for the start of this clip about 10 new gay couples (which is how I got on to them).
However, you can watch the whole series online for free through formal channels.
You can catch the pilot episode here on YT. No subtitles are provided but Youtube lets you auto-generate the dialogue in Spanish and then translate into the language of your choice - it isn't perfect but you get the gist of it. Ricky publicly comes out as gay in the pilot itself, around 15 minutes. His family is Ecuadorean and less open-minded so he is closeted to them.
It is more of a journey for Álex, a former football player whose dad disapproves of his decision to go into acting. His best friend is jock Victor (Eduard Torres). Be sure to watch Victor's presentation immediately following Ricky's - you will thank me later! Álex knows he is gay but remains closeted because he doesn't want to lose his friendship with Victor.
Remaining episodes are available on Playz and you can turn on English subtitles more easily, too.

The episodes are quite short and primarily focus on Joel, almost exclusively, so there's not a lot of gay content. Ricky and Álex really only have about 4 scenes together and the kiss shown above is their only one, which happens in the finale. Maybe if there's another season, they will develop them more as a couple.

Here's the description of the series - I used Google Translate so please forgive any errors:
Joel, a 16-year-old trans boy, goes to a new high school to attend stage high school with his two best friends, Laia and Ricky. After a few months traveling, Joel is able to present himself to his classmates for the first time as a boy, since he finally has the "passing" that he longed for so much. As soon as he enters the theater room, he is attracted to Ona, a reserved and intellectual-looking girl. Joel, who has dreamed of becoming a great actor since he was a child, is absolutely fascinated by the first lesson given by Carmen, his charismatic drama teacher. However, the magic fades in a second when he asks them to prepare a monologue for the next day in which they come clean to the entire class. Joel gets stuck. He wants to fulfill his teacher's assignment, but it is difficult for him to give up the newly released feeling that others see him as just another boy.
