It seems odd we never had a sub-forum for the original QAF or the first US remake, but I guess both were before this board's genesis. Anyway, we now have a premiere date (9 June), some promotional stills, and even a teaser trailer (although it's just some animation of the new club Babylon sign). http://instagram.com/p/CcS9yAUDCTQ http://instagram.com/p/CcS_6rMqxIa

When they first announced this reboot, I was hoping it would be more like the British version of the show, but this is probably gonna be more in line with the American/Canadian version, right? I LOVED the British version, especially the humor and just the fact that they took themselves less seriously... it's a shame it was so short.

I have an extremely bad feeling about this show.
I was not a fan of the original show (well the american version) but i find odd to call this a reboot when it seems to have nothing in common with the original material.

Sadly not surprised it was cancelled. It wasn't very good and it was way too woke.

Totally expected. It was unable to generate any buzz.
Evertything around the show was wrong, sorry but there's nothing on this that was like the original and you don't promote a show as a reboot if doesn't have anything to do with the original (it only generates fans dissapointment)

They didn't get the tone right, and it was made worse by the poor marketing. I couldn't help thinking it might be intentional and Peacock wanted to bury the series - it was an odd fit for the platform from the outset.
I'm mostly sad because we've squandered another chance to have an unapologetically gay show for mature audiences - who knows when another opportunity like this will come around again? (Probably never, given the failure of this one.)
There was supposed to be a French remake of QaF that was announced around the same time as this US reboot, but it seems to have died a quiet death - another pity, because the French can be very good at gay representation.
