Sorry, guys, about this mistake. I accidentally uploaded Ivan's clip. But as it isn't a large file, it should be up soon. I'm still giggling like mad. Never fear Nanna, you know you can do no wrong in our eyes!

Thank you Nanna! i just watched the german clip, and one of the few things I understood were "shit" and some sentenced that he said he loved Olli, and I think Judith mentioned something that "he caught you in bed" im not sure. the fact that i understood liebe olli ;D(might be cause its part of the soap title ) is progress for me!

I'm just waiting for the day when both Christian and Olli are wearing horizontal stripped shirts at the same time

Christian so totally dropped the ball here!
He should have pointed out that he did, in fact, attempt to tell Gregor but Gregor didn't believe him. Then again Christian's not too good with these kinds of emotional verbal discussions.
Naturally I'm all the more in love with Gregor (especially in the pink shirt) and I do sympathize, even though he apparently also has a faulty memory. With the collapse of his marriage I'm sure he was relying all the more on his bond with Christian to provide a sense of security. This kind of massive secret lurking right across the hall (and going at it like a couple of teenagers) all this time must have been jarring.
But I'm glad Olli was up for expediting the resolution. Given the Mann talent for being standoffish when agitated this could easily have gone on for several more episodes.
Nanna, as always you are a goddess for getting this up there so quickly. Thank you!

Just watched it with the English subs. Wow, the scene between Christian and Gregor at the table was so moving. In a good way.

I know! Poor Gregor couldn't get a word in edgewise most of the episode. Both C and O were jumping all down his throat and being hostile and he was like "b..." and "h..." and "....?" It was actually quite funny. And of course we got Chrstian telling Gregor that he loves Olli... I'm a nice warm , contented puddle of goo.... ETA: Your welcome roddieb! ETA2: Yes, that's my small complaint as well. A longer hug would have made this perfect.

I just finished watching Nanna's fabulous subbed version.....and am all teary eyed! That was such a sweet seen between Christian and Gregor! ( I can't find an "awwwww" smilie or I would insert it here!) And I would have never known just how sweet it was if Nanna wasn't doing such an awesome job! THANK YOU NANNA, IVAN and TIHKON! You guys are amazing! ;D

Sigh. This is another good episode. I thought it was when I was watching the unsubbed version. The subs make it all the better. I liked how the panicked Christian looks to Olli for help. Olli is is usual calm self, but he's clearly not exactly certain what to do, either. And kind of stumbles through it. He does OK, but it's just so awkward. It would be bad enough being caught in bed when someone expects it, but this.... Though I must say that Gregor's reaction "Sorry to disturb you" seems rather strange. That's all? Must be the shock. No wonder neither Christian and Olli wouldn't let him get a word in edgewise. I liked Christian's declaration that he loved Olli in the middle of all this. Now if he can get around to saying it to Olli, but at just the right time. Judith always putting her foot in her mouth was so funny. Poor girl, she couldn't say anything right today. Olli on fire and digging into Gregor, being pissed off because he expected better from him, was great. Stand up for your guy, Olli! When I watched without subs, Gregor's confused looks were confusing me. But thanks to Nanna's excellent subs it makes more sense now. From Gregor's perspective, he's first shocked and hurt that Christian didn't tell him and trust him. When Christian comes to the door, it just confirms to him that Christian doesn't trust him. What is more, it is this exchange that makes Gregor think he's thought to be an ass. Olli's confrontation of Gregor shows that Gregor doesn't quite understand what's going on. What Olli says doesn't first match what Gregor is thinking. Only then does he realize something about this. "Don't you guys know me well enough to know I'm not homophobic?" he seems to be thinking. It seems the ice melts on Gregors side when he realizes his reaction was perceived wrongly. Now they can talk, because he has a way into the conversation. He and Olli had more conversation than we saw on screen. Olli's little tap on the arm is trying to say to Christian that this will be OK. Good move, as it seems to put Christian on a less confrontational footing. His body language changes slightly. And then the wonderful conversation between the two brothers. I've watched it several times, I still find it moving. My eyes still water. The last few episodes have been a very nice mini story arc.

Ok, just watched the no subs version, and, at last, I have to say this show made even stern, cynical me weep like a child.
Love it!

There was some great interaction here today, no question.
I'm not surprised Gregor didn't have anything meaningful to say when he first walked in on them. This was so far outside the scope of anything he would have expected that all he could feel was awkward. But I'm sure that by the time Christian made it across the hall Gregor was starting to feel angry. His relationship with Christian is very important to him and he thought they were on a level where they told each other everything.
At least unlike Olivia, his annoyance wasn't soothed by blackmailing the boys.
It was cute to see Christian go off ranting about how he loves Olli and that homosexuality is not an illness. Clearly that threw Gregor even more that especially after he was the one who talked Christian down from his early homophobia towards Olli that now Christian thought he was a homophobe!
Good old Olli though. Rushing off to confront Gregor when he thought he was rejecting Christian for being in a relationship with a man. I agree that we missed out on some of what must have been interesting conversation between Gregor and Olli.
But as restenergy says Christian was calmed by Olli's reassuring shoulder punch. It's cute how Christian looks to Olli for support when he's uncertain. Like at the beginning when he didn't know what to say to Gregor. At least he didn't try something lame like claiming they were just "experimenting" or something.
The best is still the meaningful conversation between the Mann brothers. Christian and Gregor are a great pair of characters.

Then there is that joke that occasionally circulates amongst Norwegian Lutherans, which I think I've mentioned before, about the Norwegian farmer who loved his wife so much that he almost told her so. I identify with that Norwegian farmer (even though I am now the 2nd generation removed from the farm). I think Christian might, to some extent, as well, although he's neither a farmer nor a Norwegian. Hey restenergy, in light of what just happened in Norway, do you suppose that soon there will be a Norwegian farmer who loves his husband so much that he almost tells him so? I think it's really interested that Christian was able to say to Gregor, twice, that he loves Olli. It kind of fits with his aggressive, boxer mindset that he can say it while having what he feels is a confrontation, even if it's merely a verbal one. But he's shy and falters with Olli himself. To me it seems that Christian can express his feelings better when under stress than he can when he's in a "calm" frame of mind.

restenergy: that's a good synopsis of the psychology of the episode.
I think it particular fine how the writers have Christian again project his own feelings onto someone else so that he can fight those feelings, fight his persistent insecurities.
Just as--in order to 'legitimize' his reproach of Olli and disguise his own jealousy--he projected his own feelings onto Lisa upon their discovery of Olli and Timo in flagrante, now it's revealed (during Christian's rant at Gregor at Gregor's apt door), the extent to which his fear of Gregor's rejection has been all along a projection of his own persistent misgivings about homosexuality--the persistence of 'self-rejection'.
Now we 'see' why Christian's the only one who has doubted Gregor's sympathy.
Yes, there's more at stake for him than for anyone else--as he says, he stands to lose so much should Gregor in fact despise him for loving another male. But it's made plain--at Gregor's door--that in the person of G, it's Christian's own demons he's still confronting . . .

Hah! Christian is pulling a Luke Snyder with a striped shirt with winning results, I must say.
Another excellent episode. I can't get enough of Christian the Drama Königin!

But really, really, the manscaping team at VL really needs to lay off the body-waxing. Thore and Jo are as smooth as a couple of Ken dolls! I blame the Phillips Body Groom. This was discussed some time ago in the General Discussion thread, but apparently extreme manscaping is all the rage in Germany. Even Gregor and the random guys at the gym shots in the early Ollian clips are completely hairless under the arms.

I was beginning to get the impression that someone had tricked all of Germany into thinking that Nair was a shower gel! Don't get me wrong, their skin looks smoother and softer than the leather seats in a new BMW. I just believe that men should have at least some bodyhair. It's downright bizarre that Christian, Gregor, Constantin and Sebastian all seem to regularly sport varying degrees of artfully-trimmed five o'clock shadow, but their bodies are as smooth as a newborn's.

Agree COMPLETELY. It's very odd-looking, as is no hair ON forearms or legs. I'd feel mighty self-conscious if my man had less hair (on his body) than I did. It's downright...unnatural! I mean, I "get" the whole waxed chest phenomenon (even though I don't like it on everyone--some men were just meant to be hairy, like Adam Baldwin and Ben Browder. Rawr!)... ...but for the love of God, leave me the happy-trail. Please! That and some lean, toned hips peeking out above the waist on a pair of low-rise jeans are quite possibly the sexiest things (below the neck) on a man.
