Is it confirmed that his version of the Green Lantern will be gay?
I'm a little surprised that Jeremy would take another gay role; his previous one (Stonewall) was so thoroughly trounced that I would've imagined it would sour him (and his management) against ever taking another gay role.

I think an actor should play any role he wants (if he is the right one), but frankly, with a gay head writer it's difficult to understand why this type of role don't go for a gay actor, specially because it would be groundbreaking because superhero roles doesn't seem to be an option for openly gay actors (it seems that's even the case with gay surperheroes)

I'm surprised at the casting. I thought Alan Scott is supposed to be from the older generation? Even with magic and other in-universe explanation, kind of hard to explain such a young Green Lantern
