This series is an adaption from the novel, 'Grab a Bite' by Sammon, the writer of 'Manner of Death'. It was originally going to retain that name for the series but presumably someone thought the slightly irreverent "Bite Me" was a better play on words. There's still currently no poster available for the series and the above book cover is usually used for articles instead, so that's what I've added for now. The story synopsis runs: 'Chef Ua, the second runner-up of The Chef Master is still not able to step up to be the top chef. He spends each day full of doubts that he can improve due to a feeling that there is something missing and as a result is unable to improve his cooking. However, one day when he orders a delivery it begins a chain of events that will change his life. The virtuosity of what has been missing will be uncovered in the delivery boy who hides an ability of extraordinary skills that normal people don’t have.' Here's the MyDramaList page There's both a teaser and a trailer out. The teaser is basically the start of the full trailer. Teaser: Teaser 1There's no English subs on the official trailer so I've linked to the version on LazySubber's Facebook instead: Full trailer with English subs courtesy of LazySubber. There's no premiere date announced yet.

Was not expecting the part about the delivery boy wanting to be a chef. Was expecting the entire thing to be about BL between a chef and a delivery boy

It's been announced that Mark Siwat has tested positive for COVID-19 and the production has been temporarily shut down. Apparently most of the main cast were involved in a cookery workshop together so are presumably having to quarantine en masse now. I guess this will likely push the series back to the last quarter of the year now?

This series has now been confirmed to start on 29th August. It will be shown domestically by Ch31 with everything else being handled by Viu Thailand. There is still no definitive information about an international release although the announcement did include the proviso "For interfans, please stay tuned" so at least they are definitely considering some form of wider release. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Viu. IMHO, they are only a few rungs up the ladder from AISplay when it comes to making life awkward for Inter fans. But who knows? Maybe we'll get a repeat the format they went with for 'Close Friends' and be granted a week long window on YT?

They've finally got around to releasing an official poster for the show. Also looks like they've tried to recreate the original book cover:

Another new poster: This one came with the following viewing details: "Follow them every Sunday at 23:15 GMT+7 on VIU." Still no mention as to whether it will be available to inter fans though.

Looks like this series will be available worldwide through different providers depending on the territory.
Rakuten VIKI: Europe, The Americas, Oceania, India and Israel (144 countries)
VIU: Asia, Middle East, South Africa (15 countries)
U-NEXT: Japan
KKTV: Taiwan
As I assume most folk who use this Board will fall into the VIKI category, I've checked their page and the good news is that the first episode is down to premiere via their platform on 29th August, so no delayed release.
