Tom and Oliver: Oliver's first relationship

I have read up on their history a bit and it seems that they were a fairly cute story. I can see how it might have been a bit boring to people, but I like the humorous tone it apparently had even if they weren't as sensual as Tom and Ulli. Oliver looks so young and naive in those clips. Such a cute little puppy, his feelings always on full display.

Also interesting, a gay storyline where neither partner had to be "turned". Tom was already gay before and even though Oliver was dating a girl when he met Tom, he was already a declared bisexual, something that was confirmed when his mean mother Henriette came for a visit, got angry that he hadn't "gotten over his bi-phase" yet and disowned him.

I also like the description of the storyline where Tom proposed to Olli and Olli didn't want to get married because he didn't want to lose his freedom. Though I'm sure that it probably wasn't a particularly great storyline to watch, it just rings very true for Olli's character.

I saw some clips on YT about their story. Olli was really cute at that time, but I prefer him today; he is maturer both as man and as actor. I can't imagine how he will be when 40!!!

No, from what I can tell Tom cheated on Olli with Ulli, but then told Ulli to leave because he wanted to stay with Olli (that is part of the video clips posted ireneks). Tom and Olli agreed that they were even and would try to work on their relationship and stayed together for quite a while after that having various smaller storylines. Lukas was the straight guy who only tricked Olli and brought Olli into illegal circles. Tom continued to be on the show for a while even after Tom and Olli broke up and he had a storyline about having an insemination baby with his friend Jule. But then Jule found a boyfriend and Tom panicked because he thought that this would mean that he wouldn't get access to his child so he schemed to break them up. He succeeded I think, but then Jule took the kid and moved to Greece or something. Then Tom left the show and we know that he moved to be with Ulli. But there was a lot of more storyline stuff in between before that happened.

Oliver nimmt schließlich einen Job als Steward auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff an und verläßt Düsseldorf.

interesting side note: the girl, jule, tom is trying to have a baby with is the same jule olli has a one night stand when ulli returns to duesseldorf and tom spends a lot of time with him.
in almost all of the time constrained re-caps, also the one on the blog, it seems a little confusing and sounds like ulli is the reason for them breaking up - but in reality, as lola correctly recaps, they both continued to have individual storylines. both version won't totally throw your out of sync, since eventually tom ends up with ulli again anyway.

agreed, but then - i'm around the same age as jo weil and when the tom / olli story first appeared, all i could think was: oh my god, total cutie. tom on the other hand- good actor, but never did anything for me in the looks department.

I actually don't like the young Olli all that much. It's not that he didn't look good but his character seemed so... childish/whiny and a couple other attributes which are not very likeable (imo). I'm really glad that Tom went back to Ulli because a) Tom didn't do much for me either, and b) Christian and Olli are (and look) sooo much better together!

They get together. Next thing is that they go to the party. Very strange.

There are only 16 eps on youtube, I thought there would be more?

Well they are in sequence but there were episodes/days between them.

Other than that it makes sense to me. The episode about them getting together ends with them having a drink with Charlie. A few days later they are at Charlie's again and make plans to go to that party. Charlie picks the boys up, everybody gets dressed and then there are the party scenes.

There probably was more Tom and Olli but nobody bothered to tape it. Somehow I fear nobody has that concert scene either

I didn't know that Olli had before in VL a relationship (never watched it, so ).
I thought he was bi and had both man and woman, as far as I remember he said that he is bi

I didn't like Tom because he was behaving like Ollis father sometimes. I remember that Andi made comments about it when Olli left Tom and Tom was rushing into this "I want a child" storyline. Tom needed a younger guy to be the mature one. It was really obvious for me when Andi moved into the flat share and Tom was again behaving like an old parent and Olli on the other hand found his best friend in the childish Andi. It led to Tom going to dinners with his colleagues or older people on the show like Jule. Olli was hanging out with Alexa,Christian and Andi. It was the same when they met Charlie and Tom was discussing serious stuff with her and Olli of course was treated as her little nephew (What I loved). Watching the episodes now I don't think it was about the fact that Olli was younger, it was simply his personality. He's still the guy who's giving advice to Judith and Constantin and who loves the life in a flat share.

I love the new clips. I didn't remember the stuff where Charlie found out about Olli. It's cute and I like that they have their great chemistry from the start. They don't know each other but once Olli knows Charlie is his aunt they have a great connection. The best part is when he asks her how he has to call her "Tante Charlie oder Tante Charlotte". I wish he would do that more often, saying Aunt Charlie.

Interesting part of course the comment about his brother. I don't know if he's making a joke and the "brother" is a part of it and he doesn't have one or if he really has a brother. There can not be a big age difference when he says his brothers confirmation was 8 years ago.

What I did like about Tom and Olli was that they are emotional and they were cuddling a lot. They had sweet moments like inline skating.

Olli was always making things impulsively like kissing Tom. It's nice that Olli has a history with the No Limits. Working there, first kiss with Tom,stealing the money, being sad when he saw Ulli and Tom and now his first real talk with Christian but also the bashing. He has a lot memories there. But the best moment for me was when he walked in there and saw Lukas can walk ;D

What I didn't know before was that Kay Böger really got attacked back then because he played a gay character. I read it when I wanted to read something about Tom and Ollis relationship a few months ago.


I'd like to see some Olli/Andi videos,too. I had some episodes but I lost a lot when I moved to another apartment. But it wasn't much anyway.
