I don't know much about this series except that it features two actors ( Billkin Putthipong Assaratanakul and PP Krit Amnuaydechkorn) who had played out a bromance subplot in a non BL show called My Ambulance. They gained a following and were shipped as BKPP. Their story in MA didn't have the best of endings and seemingly caused a bit of an uproar. Following demand from fans the makers finally announced a series focused on them as a couple. It was initially known as "The BKPP Project", then was given the title "Interpret My Love With Your Heart" but now seems to have reverted to the simpler "BKPP the series". It was originally due to air in July but was pushed back due to COVID19 and is now due to start on 22nd October. Here's the MyDramaList page. * This isn't really a trailer as such. It's more about how the popularity of the BKPP ship resulted in this new series. There's no English subs and the first half just touts the makers other shows. Skip to around 54 seconds to get the focus on BKPP.

I sat through all of the My Ambulance episodes - mostly because I think Sky as Chalan was adorable and I really enjoyed the energy he brought to the show. I also watched because Dao was a lot of fun too - his friendship with Chalan and Liwan was great and he really did seem to have something going that was more than bromance with Tew. I am not ashamed to admit that I bawled my eyes out when Dao died.
So I have to admit that I am excited to see the actors behind Dao and Tew playing new roles together.

Nadao Bangkok, the company behind the series have made details available for Inter fans.
It will be available on Vimeo.com with the first episode available today. While it will be free to watch in Thailand, Inter fans are going to be charged a fee. The series has 5 episodes and it will cost $12 per episode, so US price will be $60 and UK price, £46!
Hmm, don't think I need to be much of a fortune teller to know most folk are probably going to wait and see if it turns up elsewhere.

I think the worst part is this is $12 for a 30 day rental for each video. Now the episodes are longer - little over an hour, so I can imagine spending a little more, but for $12 I would want to be able to download the episodes.

Wow! I have to admit that this show is so well made that it had me snatched even before we saw the two boys grow up to become BKPP. Everything about it is so cinematic from the luscious camera work and beautiful soundtrack to the solid writing. It's already promising to be a tear-jerker and yes, I succumbed. I'm pretty sure that as the story unfolds, my heart is gonna get another punch or two!
At the moment there is a copy of the 1st episode floating around on YT. It claims to be HD but is nowhere near as good as the version I previously managed to see, but it's still perfectly acceptable. I'm not sure how long it will stay up though...

The BTS documentaries which were available to watch as part of the original subscription price now seem to be getting a free YT release. I'm not sure of maker Nadao's intentions though, because the first one they've officially put out on YT (complete with English subs) is episode 5 which is the latest one.
I haven't seen this documentary yet but suspect it will be quite spoilery, as an earlier one that I did see was very much focused on the events of what happened storywise in the episode it followed. If you're not up to date with all the actual episodes so far you may want to hold off for a while until you've managed to see them?

I'm sure all the folk who have been following this series will probably know this by now but just in case... The second part of the story is due to be screened from 11th March next year. It will be another five episodes and will concentrate on Teh and Oh's university years. The series was originally planned as a ten episode series but makers Nadao Bangkok later decided to split the story into high school years and university years. The second part, which has a different director, will concentrate on Teh and Oh's relationship as boyfriends while at university in Bangkok. Here's the new MyDramaList page for Part 2

This is the last of the documentary series, although the early episodes 1 to 4 have still to be added to the YT channel.

Nadao Bangkok have released a statement:
"The current release date of 'I Told Sunset About You' Part 2 which is Thursday March 11th has been postponed indefinitely. Due to Covid-19 situation, many shooting locations that we were using for our series production could not give permissions for our team to continue the production. Nadao Bangkok has no option but to stop the production temporary. Until the situation is under control and we receive all necessary permissions, we will resume the production with strict and safe measurement. The new release date will be announced once the last shooting cue has been completed, so that we don't have to postpone the release date again.
Nadao Bangkok and LINE TV apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate all the love and support for #BKPPproject and 'I Told Sunset About You' series so far. We promise that when it is possible to organize a face-to-face fan meeting event, we will see each other. Until then, take care of your health. Always wear masks and wash your hands frequently.
Nadao Bangkok Friday January 8th, 2021."

Finally started watching the series. Loving it so far. Even though it is still about school, it feels so different from all the other BL. The setting of Phuket is also a nice departure from the usual Bangkok stories

Nadao Bangkok have put out a 12 minute short featuring BKPP. It's really a commercial for oppo but still a cute enough watch for any fans of the guys.

Poster for the upcoming Part 2 which now has its own title. The significant thing here is that LINE TV have released two versions of it - the native one in Thai and this second one in English. It's being seen as a hopeful indication that the new episodes will go out internationally on LINE TV instead of Vimeo. Let's face it, that expensive Vimeo option for the first part was a massive failure by any standard.
