Ooh, it's only the first episode and I'm already hooked. This looks like it will fill the gap left by Hello Stranger quite nicely.

I ended up liking the second episode, even if the first half had me considering putting this show into the maybe watch later pile (or never because of the constant stream of [mostly Thai] shows coming out to distract me with). Mostly because Judah was acting like a really entitled brat and it was not enjoyable to watch. His interactions with Rocky at the end were really nice - and Royce (as Rocky) did an excellent job of acting like someone really noticing another person for the first time and coming to terms with the idea that he might have feelings for this person.
I didn't realize after watching several Filipino webseries that I really wanted to have a conservative Filipino grandmother come crashing in like a bull in a china shop. Her facetime interrogation of Rocky was a wonder to watch. I am not sure I would be able to answer all her questions - enumerate all of the apostles?!?

I have to say episode 3 removed any doubts that I had about this show - Rocky and Judah have some serious chemistry and their blindly reaching out to each other for shelter in this dumpster fire of a year felt so real.

I wasn't expecting them to have sex already or Rocky to bottom.
This and GaySaPelikula made me Friday. Pinoy BLs are so good.

The dates were fun. Judah was perhaps a bit too forward - but in the end it was both of them needing the support of the other that brought them together. Judah freaking out about the L word at the end was amusing.

So this episode irked me a little bit. Judah already going through the whole process of accepting his feelings for men, I feel like he was too harsh on Rocky. Everyone comes to acceptance on their own terms. Granted Rocky has to learn to love and accept himself first it's obvious that he has feelings for Judah. I mean hell he's only going with Glen because he'd rather be with Glen than be alone even though he isn't alone. Also good job Lolly for realizing her mistake. You should never try to change someone. We are all perfect the way we are flaws and all.

Sucks that the next episode is the last one.

This is why closeted men should not get involved with men who are out of the closet. If you want to be closeted or you are not ready to come out, find someone who also wants to keep things secret or keep it in your pants. Judah may have money but his is clearly lonely and emotionally damaged by his grandmother's behavior and his mother's disregard for him. Rocky is a very loving family who adores him including his late mom who made it clear she would accept him for who he is. Judah wasn't asking Rocky to go Facebook officially, he just wanted to know clearly where he stood. If instead of ignoring Judah and pretending he didn't have sex with Judah and then trying to leave, Rocky had just said "I like you, I want to be with you. I'm not ready to be out" I bet Judah could have handled that. They are on lockdown so it's not like anyone was going to know what was going on between them unless they told folks. It is the perfect opportunity for them to figure out what they feel for each other and for Rocky to get comfortable being open with a man. Instead Rocky acted like sleeping with Judah was a mistake he regretted and only did because he was drunk which hurt Judah's feeling and feed into his abandonment issues and feelings of low self-worth.
They are both very young so they are not great at communicating and they didn't really know each other at all when they started living together. They just need more time to figure out what they each want.

An update from the production company states that an extended Directors Cut of Episode 4 'Sardines' will now be shown in the show's usual time slot this Friday. This is already reputed to be the most popular episode of the series. I wonder why?

Another update. Looks like they aren't going to give us an extended Director Cut version of Episode 4 after all, just the original episode and a deleted scene on it's own.
It would have been much better to see the extra footage inserted into the actual episode.
