Mind Trio did a short film called 2 Day a few months ago - so I subscribed to them. A while back they posted a trailer for a webseries Calculating Love (which I then forgot about until earlier today when a clip showed up in my feed).
Here is the short film 2 Day:
The Trailer for Calculating Love:
The first episode:
All three clips have English subtitles. I would have posted Calculating Love Ep 1 earlier, but they did not post the subtitles until later today.

Watched the first episode and quite like it. It is nice that they got eng sub pretty quickly. Hope that is the case for future episodes as well

I liked the second episode - neither one is quite ready to tell the other his true feelings. I really enjoyed the scene with Tan and his dad?/boss? (It isn't clear which he is supposed to be to me) with them playing the love song and talking. Tan closing up shop with Sine interfering was nice as well.

I had given up on this one because no new episodes were being aired. Much to my surprise this morning, I saw a premiere link for episode 3 airing tomorrow:

That was a sweet episode. I liked Tan's calculus date. His friends though gave off discount vibes of Win's friends from 2gether the series. Atom is really cute. It is nice that they were able to figure out sponsors and a way to fund the show, but I am not sure I can handle another East Asian show placing beauty aid products so blatantly. Also if you plot the equation on their shirts, it actually plots a heart. Try copying 0=(x^2+Y^2-1)^3-x^2y^3 into www.desmos.com/calculator

I had to watch the first 2 eps again before I watched ep 3 just to refresh my memory but this was a cute episode. I enjoyed the date.

I have to say that my multivariate calculus class did not prepare me for the utter confusion that was this episode - I don't know if it was the writing or the translation, but everything seemed contradictory:
1. Sine begs Tan for some clarity after seeing his flirty behavior with Lin while studying/snacking. Tan tells him that he wants to be with Sine - Sine walks away. 2. Lin tells Atom that she would be happy to see Sine and Tan get together - over hears Tan's confession to Sine, but still gets Tan to visit her and then hold hands. And while her monologue and tone seemed suggestive that even though she was holding his hand, she was letting go - I wouldn't be surprised to see her continue to chase after him in the next episode. 3. Atom seems so into Lin - yet has the same problem everyone else has - lots of trouble communicating. Yet he also seems perfectly happy to send Lin into Tan's arms (as does Leo).
Also the camera work needed a lot more help this episode - the Tan-Sine conversation was giving me whiplash from the camera cutting away from each one so rapidly. It also annoying kept cutting off the top of Tan's head.

This is another one that I will be sad to see go - I really wish they did one more episode to wrap up a few loose ends. While the use of symbolic math was often as torturous as my memories of calculus, it did make for a very different and unusual show, with two shy characters trying their best to overcome that shyness by using the language that they both understood.
I also liked the introduction of Sine's mother and the conversations between them.
The location scout deserves a raise - that bike park looked really fun - and the combination of drone footage and video of Sine riding his bike through it was really neat.

A bit late in the day but makers MindTrio have put out a BTS video called 'The Lost Notes of Calculating Love' complete with English subs.
