My Little Sister will be brought to us by CIFTv which has done a few storylines in the past. I was afraid this was going to be a story video (text with pictures) but based on the trailer it looks like it will be live action. Here is the trailer:
The show starts next week.

This is a weird little show that I can't quite decide if I like or not. I've seen the same company's 'My Brother' which is very similar. For me, both shows suffer from the same issue in that they progress their story by having (normally correct) assumptions being made based on the flimsiest of evidence. Here, we had a scene where the older step-sister gave the younger one a fairly chaste peck on the cheek as she tucked her up in bed and the mother and step-brother immediately accused her of being gay and treated her as if she had sexually assaulted the younger sibling... Who knows? Maybe family dynamics are different in Vietnam? To be honest I'm only here for the young boy-couple who haven't appeared much so far. They had a near-kiss on the railway track last episode and the few scenes they have been in do imply that their story is likely to be shown as one of innocent puppy love.

Unfortunately this link doesn't go to episode 7. It actually goes to an omnibus version of the 6 episodes already shown. As far as I can tell, no extra footage has been added. They've just been edited together with the start & end credits removed from the individual episodes. Maybe there's been a problem with the new episode and they substituted this at the last moment?

Apparently Episode 6 was the last in the series. On their facebook page makers CiF TV have said they hope to be back with a second series and have invited suggestions on how to take the storyline forward.

A new mini series from the makers of 'My Little Sister' called 'School's Out! Let's Date Now!' (Tan học rồi, hẹn hò không) and featuring some of the same cast will be starting this Sunday 31st January. It's being released on the company's new YT affiliate - 3S Channel. I didn't start a new thread for this show as it is advertised as a GL series, although there does appear to be a minor BL storyline going on in the background. 'My Little Sister' was promoted as a joint BL/GL series and barely featured the boys story. This one is down purely as a GL series so I don't think the guys will get much of a look in despite their visibility in the trailer.

It's almost been three weeks since the last episode of School's Out! Let's Date Now! with no explanation as to why it hasn't appeared. The company have now put out a statement to apologise for the delay in episode 5 and explain that it is primarily due to a lack of money to produce future episodes.
This short video also accompanied the statement.

Episode 5 of School's Out! Let's Date Now!:
Due to a lack of funds this will be the final episode of this series until further notice. Five more episodes were due to be filmed but this will all depend on whether they can raise more finance.

Well, that was a surprise. This episode proved to be very boy-centric with the fast-forward button being pressed firmly on the advancement of Hoang Phong (photographer) and Dang Khoa's (his friend who wears glasses) relationship. Ever since the first episode Hoang Phong's been after that girl Jolie but I think we can safely say not any more. Ah, boys when they get drunk...
Typical that we might not see what happens next now that the show has gone into a hiatus that it may never come out of.

For anyone hoping against hope that 'School's Out! Let's Date Now!' would return, it's bad news, I'm afraid. The company have been unable to raise sufficient money to complete the rest of the series and the final five episodes will not be made. Instead, they will produce an epilogue to conclude the story.
Released company statement:
"Greetings to our beloved partners! Thank you for always being beside and standing up for us 3S Channel as well as the series 'School's Out! Let's Date Now!' We are grateful to you all viewers, especially those making invaluable donations, for your care and compassion towards the series! Sincerest thanks goes to Nguyen Hoang Linh, Gordon Carol, Torres Gabriela, Castro Hernandez Dulce Ivem, Soriano Morales Mariana Elizabeth, and those donating via Vietcombank, along with through Comicola. Unfortunately, the amount collected is not enough for the production to resume. Therefore, we are here to announce that we will REFUND ALL THE MONEY you have donated.
In response to your passionate support for the series and in order to make it more complete, we will produce an epilogue as our special thanks. Once again, our warmest and most wholehearted gratitude is for you all!"
