Made in Heaven is about two Delhi-based wedding planners, Tara and Karan. According to press notes, the upcoming series “portrays today’s India as a potent blend where tradition jostles with modern aspiration, set against the theme of the ‘Big Fat Indian Wedding’. Indians believe marriages are made in heaven and it is against these sacred unions that Tara and Karan’s personal journeys are juxtaposed.”
Made in Heaven will be available to stream on March 8, 2019.

They did already. I downloaded 9 eps few days ago and im on ep 3 now. Does it live up to the hype? The trailer looks good but I get really skeptical when I read hyperbole like "NSFW gay sex which a conservative mother can watch without batting an eyelid". Either the sex scenes aren't NSFW or the mother isn't remotely conservative - both cannot be true! And since gay visibility is so poor in India (have they even decriminalized it yet? They keep going back and forth on the matter) I lean towards the former. The very suggestion of gay sex would be considered NSFW in a country where it's illegal!

I just finished all 9 eps and its really good, i really enjoyed it myself, I couldnt stop watching. Not only LGBT rights but women rights also, the serie did them all good. I've learned many things bout Indian culture via this serie and the gay sex scenes r there, they didnt run away from it. I hope that there will be season 2. U should give it a try =)

But the timeline of the serie during the time when It was still illegal there. Karan ( the gay character) even went to jail after being reported by his landlord.

Season 2 just came out. No idea why it took 4 years (probally because covid restrictions in India).
I just finished season 1 and it's really good. Hopefully season 2 keeps up the quality.
