"Weird City is set the in near future in the city of Weird, which has been physically divided in half – "Above The Line" and "Below The Line" – and segregated by economic class. Each episode follows different individuals as they navigate life the city." Ep 1 summary: "Stu (Dylan O'Brien) lives Above The Line was born Below it, and thus was never assigned a romantic partner at birth. He uses a dating service that claims to find perfect matches, and is paired with Burt (Ed O'Neill). Despite both men identifying as straight and their significant age difference, they form a friendship that quickly becomes a romantic relationship. They are forcibly separated and assigned new partners by Dr. Negari (LeVar Burton), the founder of the dating service, who informs them their match was made in error. Nevertheless, Stu and Burt decide to move Below The Line in order to remain with each other." => I didnt expect this but they cute af =)))

Seeing the reactions of fans who always wanted to see Dylan O'Brien with another man made me laugh!
I get why people aren't happy about the age gap (I'm not talking about the "eww old old!" comments, I mean people who don't feel comfortable with lgbt couples in media so often being so many years apart) but I thought the episode was sweet. The focus really wasn't on a big romance, as they seemed more interested in showing how off-kilter this world was, but what we did get of it was treated respectfully enough. And Dylan O'Brien and Ed O'Neill were believable enough with what they were given.
I'm glad I decided to watch it.
