Many thanks. Since Nanna tracked down some of those old clips, I thought it might be interesting to discuss some of them. I made some transcripts of scenes that seemed interesting to me:
Episode 2972: Looking at the stars (Sarah, Gregor, Jana and Leonard are looking at the stars)
Jana: Can you see the twins?
Gregor: Well, I can't see a thing. For that you should have taken my brother.
Sarah: What? He's good with that kind of stuff?
Gregor: Yeah, he loves sleeping outdoors. That was one of his quirks even before his jailtime.
Jana: Why quirk? That's romantic!
Leonard: Exactly.
Christian loves the outdoors: part 232Gregor: Do you have any idea where he might be hiding out?
Coco: I'm convinced he again put up his tent in the woods.
Gregor: I should have thought of that. That sounds like him. He always used to be outside like that, as a little boy. Our father used to ground us a lot. I didn't care. Then I would just amuse myself inside, but he? Like a tiger in a cage.
Coco: With us he spent the first night up on the roof terrace too even though it was still bitchin cold.
(Gregor tries to talk to Christian. Christian walks off and crawls into his tent)
Gregor: That's exactly what I mean. Always the misunderstood hermit.
(later)
Gregor: I can understand that father's death hit you hard. It was the same for me too.
Christian: What bullshit. Dad has never meant anything to you. And now his death is on your conscience.
Gregor: That's not true!
Christian: Of course it's true.
You never gave him a chance, no matter what he did!
Gregor: No matter what he did? Then I'll have to refresh your memory, do you know how often he forced me to lie to our mother to hide his gambling addiction? Or how often he went postal because he was drunk again? Christian: You really are the scum of the earth. Dad is dead. How can you talk like this about him even now.
Gregor:
Because it doesn't change how he really was. Christian, wake up! I too wanted a fairy tale father, but he didn't exist.
Christian: Dammit, stop it!
Gregor: No, because it is time that you get used to the truth. Father was a selfish, alcohol addicted gambler. (Christian punches Gregor)
28.03.2008: You have to keep your promisesGregor: Who does Leonard think he is? Waltzes in here and plays shrink when Sarah is dead to me.
Christian: Gregor, I can understand that you would rather punch Leonard, but...
Gregor: What?
Christian: (reaches for a red toy car) Do you remember, on your birthday when dad was broke again.
Gregor: Yes, I still know that but I'm surprised that you still remember. Back then you were just a little sausage (
), 5 years old at the most.
Christian: And you bawled like a little sausage.
Gregor: I never bawled.
Christian: Anyway, you didn't talk to him again all day, was a really great atmosphere. (sarcastic)
Gregor: With me the most. (sarcastic)
Christian: But back then he promises you that for Christmas you would get the best toy race track of all times.
Gregor: And who came instead? The city bill collectors and put his cuckoo stamp on everything. That's when the race track became dead to me.
Christian: But you did get it eventually. And what did dad tell you back then? "Boy, there is nothing worse in the world than to not keep your word."
Gregor: He kept his promise once. That was the best part of it. Why are you thinking of this anyway?
Christian: In good times and in bad times, Gregor, that is what you promised Sarah and till now you are still married.
Gregor: And what about her vow to be faithful?
Christan: Yes, maybe it was the lowest of the low, but do you want to be at fault now if she can never play piano again?
