This French series revolves around the eponymous girl who becomes a mother at 16. In season 5 (last year) they did a bit of a cast overhaul and introduced a new family, the Ferrans, whose son Dimitri (top pic, played by actor-dancer Rayane Bensetti) is handed the traditional coming-out plot. Victor Meutelet (2nd pic) appears as his love interest, Lucas. I vacillated over whether this show deserved its own thread considering what little material I could find online (and without English subs) but Bensetti's billing as part of the main cast tipped the scales in favour of its own thread. Despite this, there doesn't seem to be much focus on Dimitri, so consider yourselves cautioned if you were expecting oodles of airtime for his love life - it's barely depicted and Lucas is only recurring. The main thrust of the storyline is Dimitri's father's trouble in accepting his only son's homosexuality. Here's a compilation of Dimitri's scenes from season 5 created by a Rayane Bensetti fan. As far as I'm aware, Lucas only appears to support Dimitri so all of his scenes should also be contained in this. Each season is just five 90-minute episodes and Season 6 is about to air in France (strangely, it already started airing in Switzerland and Belgium, even though it's produced in France). I guess it depends how those ratings are before a 7th season is commissioned.

He is supposed to be in season 6, but I don't know for how many episodes. (He himself announced it, I'll try and catch the episodes from the Belgium channels, and I'll update here if anything is interesting) (Also rayanne bensetti himself commented on how 'hard' it was for him to shoot those scenes, but the father-son story is still nice)

Dimitri is actually bisexual, even tho they never say that word. And season 6 is about a year after the end of season 5, he isn't in the first two episodes because he is in Canada for the year. He comes back in episode 3. Once the episodes air on TF1 (French channel) I'll be able to out together Dimitri's scenes if no one else does.

So apparently, i just can't stand the fact the video from youtube is just not showing anything from the actual story with Dimitri. Dimitri being a side-side character, he is mostly part of the stories, he doesn't often have a story of his own. he's rarely in focus. The show focuses on Clem and her mother, Caro. Caro just moved in with Xavier, Dimitri's father. That's why Dimitri is a side character. This story actually focuses on how Xavier reacts. Links to the parts with Dimitri, Lucas and Xavier (as seen in the video above, Dimitri appears way before that but he isn't a part of any of the stories) : Clem Episode 3, Season 5. ~14minutes Clem Episode 4, Season 5 (when the storyline really starts). ~50minutes (I'm more than willing to help anyone who wants to translate it, i would love to do it myself, but i just do not have the time :/) Note: we do not have that many good tv series in France, and the good ones rarely have a good gay character. Dimitri is probably the only character i can think of that i've seen in the latest years (beside the one in the gifs in my signature, but that was a french+german production and on a much smaller channel). so yeah, keep that in mind when you watch.
