He is not really new He was in the background through part of the first season and the entire second season. It is only now that we are getting to know his character better. By the way, Bellamy is played by Bob Morley - an Australian actor who has graced these boards as one of Chris's former boyfriends on the soap Neighbours (Bob played Nurse Aidan Foster).

Sorry, my bad. I haven't watched the show so I only know what was on The Backlot. I probably should have said it was revealed that Nathan Miller is gay

No problem - in addition to gay storylines, I love sci-fi - so I have been watching The 100 since it started. The boyfriend is a new character on the other hand as Mizuryuu points out. We don't even have a name for him yet.

Isn't it funny that when Miller FINALLY saw his boyfriend after all this time he didn't even get to kiss him?
The lesbian characters get to kiss and have sex all the time though... of course! I knew this would happen. The hypocrisy is so real of makes me physically ill.

Now this is funny considering there's more lesbians on tv than gay male characters (yes, I know all about the GLAAD report saying otherwise but it is highly inaccurate). Gay male characters are neutered and barely there. At least the lesbian characters get to kiss and have sex. Half of the gay male characters on tv don't even have a significant other.

I'm okay with that. It's not like the there is a lot of romance going on in the straight characters either. IF everyone was pairing off except the gay characters, then I would be concerned
