At least Sense8 will have a decent finish! I'm okay with a 2-hour final episode. It was a very expensive show and had a smaller audience.

Just over a month to go. I'm glad Netflix conceded a finale movie to wrap up the stories. I hope it lives up to the first season.

that show was just too weird for me, and is Brian J. Smith gay IRL?

I loved this show but the ending felt rushed... I also didn't like that Lito and Hernando ended up having sex with Dani - that was so weird.

The ending was rushed, I think we can all agree on that. But that is due to the cancellation, so I forgive them for it so they can tidy up the cliffhangers from season 2. There was no way to do all that without having the finale feel rushed. Just be glad they didn't do crazy amount of time skips just to clean things up like many other canceled shows given an extra episode to clean up plot threads. I loved this show but the ending felt rushed... I also didn't like that Lito and Hernando ended up having sex with Dani - that was so weird. The Dani thing was a little weird, but wasn't there some Rajan/Wolfgang action thrown in there too? Or was that part all sensate ability and Wolfgang is lying on a bed somewhere by himself? Hard to tell what is sensate sharing and what is real sometimes...

Hard to tell what is sensate sharing and what is real sometimes... No, you're right. Rajan and Wolfie did get it on in the finale. And I do believe sexuality is fluid for some people but Rajan sleeping with Kala and Wolfgang was just too... easy and unrealistic? That way Kala didn't have to make a choice between her husband and Wolfgang and everyone had a happy ending (like Dani not being alone because she's sleeping with Lito and Hernando). And a straight man from India being fine with sleeping with another guy, who's in love with his wife - OK ! I know Sense8 isn't a realistic show but I think the finale could've been done better. I'm not that happy with a lot of time jumps either but I would rather have the storyline with the bad guys wrapped up so the main characters and their relationships could've had more time. And by this I mean Lito and Hernando should've had more time because they didn't get any.. I was happy that I watched Sense8 first and Alex Strangelove after - that helped a little with my disappointment.

I loved Alex Strangelove. It brightened my day after watching the finale. It was so cute. Now there are two big production company coming of age high school movie centered on lgbt characters I can watch over and over. As much as I love the breakfast club, sixteen candles, etc. it's good to have two movies that came out this year.

I was happy that I watched Sense8 first and Alex Strangelove after - that helped a little with my disappointment. With the limited time, I thought they wrapped it up as efficiently as they could without rushing it. They had to find a way to resolve this massive organization that is more powerful than governments so the Sensate can have an happy ending openly. Alternatively, they end the show with the group on the run while dedicating most of the finale to the relationships. While possible, I don't think most people would consider being on the run a "happy ending" for the group. Kala's resolution with Wolfgang and Rajan is unrealistic, I completely agree. I am sure if there was another season, they would have had her chose one of them. I guess they could have her declare she will be leaving Rajan the next time she sees him (or have him appear just so he can be dumped, which is just as unrealistic), but that seems a bit heartless. I think they did the best with the hand they were left with at the end of season 2, and the unrealistic Kala/Rajan/Wolfgang ending somewhat fit with the show's overarching theme of love conquer all. For Lito/Hernando, I am guessing because they ended season 2 on a good note without any large plot threads, the writers decided to dedicate their limited finale time to resolving the other relationships (such as Kala). Yes, it short-changed the couple, but they already had major plot development in season 2 already. Basically, I can forgive a lot knowing the circumstances of the cancellation and the limited time they had.

I understand there was a time limit and they wanted a happy ending for everyone - I was just not satisfied with the ending. I had hoped for more (and why I did, I really don't know since most shows get a bad ending..but here we are). I wasn't ready for the show to end at all, so no matter how they would've written the finale, it probably wouldn't have been good enough.

Just finished the finale, can't believe this is the end of the series. I hadnt watched it in awhile but man was i reminded why i liked it so much. I'm just glad they didn't end it on a death of one of them cause I think this is probably the most enjoyable cast of characters I have seen. And while, yes the major conflict getting resolved felt a little rushed as well as the introduction of "The Mother", I loved seeing the relationships of so many of the cast members that had previously no interaction come together. And that final scene... *sweating*
