Seems like an interesting concept. Hopefully it's worth the wait. Thanks for the introduction.

Unfortunately they don't seem to have a network and released ep 1 to help get the word out.

The show holds a lot of promise and I truly wish them every success, but I can't help feeling pessimistic about their chances of making it onto an Aussie network. I was disabused of the notion that Australia was a hugely gay-friendly place by a couple of Aussies and their status as the last holdout for marriage equality among the Anglophone countries. In this climate how likely is it that a network would pick up a niche series like this? They gave Please Like Me the boot and it only survived because Pivot picked it up. Maybe their chances lie outside Australia or as a subscription web-series. I'm not sure, though, how the high school-aged kids to whom this series is targeted would afford subscriptions.

I think it is great that the main character is gay, but considering the gay community is such a small part of the population, it can't be easy to sell to networks. Maybe they can talk to Pivot also? Possibly netflix since I don't think it has much overlap with their other original offerings...
I liked the first episode though, and I hope they find the support they need to produce the remaining episodes.

I agree with what justinate and mizuryuu are saying. I'm a bit skeptical about their chances when it comes to getting it on tv. I don't really see a big network picking up a show like this, I do hope I'm wrong though. Maybe they'll have a bigger chance with smaller channels.. like you mentioned Pivot. And yeah, Netflix is also a good idea to pitch it too, they seem to accept many tv shows with gay characters. Making it a web only series could also work. They just need to figure out how to get the funding etc.
