Thanks for the info on this series. I have to try and catch this series soon. The reviews sound amazing. It's always a good thing to see diversity in these fictional portrays and Ms. Hazelhurst is able to portray disapproving mothers, regardless of whatever century the story is based. :-)

Guys,could you tell me what the meaning of Redfern is,please?It's a surname?or anything else? As I am not an Australian, I don't really know. However, the wikipedia page for the show suggests that it is named for the suburb of Sydney where the show is set. Redfern appears to be an area of Sydney with a higher proportion of aborginal residents, but also a lot of immigrants.
