Illimenz is posting a new storyline from an Australian show called Offspring. Here is the first clip from episode 2 of season 3: Channel 10 (who also runs Neighbours) has a website for the show here: ten.com.au/offspring.htmthe characters that play Andrew and Tim are recurring characters only (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offspring_(series_3) ) From what I have read, Andrew is trying to help his brother have a child and is their sperm donor. I guess the two brothers were estranged and Mick (the brother) needed Andrew's help. Now Mick and his wife Billie are trying to find Andrew a guy. And here is a tumblr devoted to the character of Andrew Holland: www.tumblr.com/tagged/andrew-holland

After watching the first clip and about half of the second, I have to say that this show makes Neighbours look very staid and somewhat boring in comparison. The two shows deal very differently with sexuality and infertility issues.

I went back and watched the episode where Andrew was introduced and it looks like an interesting story to follow from the start.
They actually did get pregnant, but she lost the baby. In the new season they decide to try again. So far there's been six episodes in the new season.

I like this! It's nice for me to watch something that doesn't involve 25 year olds playing teenagers. ;D The characters are likable and "real" and fun. Thanks for bringing it to our attention kevvoi.

Yeah, I agree that it's nice to see some grown folks for a change.

Anthony has also started uploading the storyline at his channel as well (http://www.youtube.com/user/anthonydlangford).
I haven't watched the last three parts yet, will do so later today after some sleep. My thoughts so far -- the scene where the brother is trying to find a date for his brother was hilarious, especially when the answer was right there in front of him.
I'm enjoying the infertility storyline. At least so far it isn't soapy (like in Brothers and Sisters) or relatively boring (as in one of the non-Chris storylines in Neighbours). And the characters get to be intimate!

Anthony's scenes are a bit longer, so I am going to embed them here:

Is it awful of me, that I am hoping Tim will screw up and Andrew will decide to head back to Melbourne for some more appearances on the show

Illimenz uploaded a short clip where Andrew's brother and sister-in-law discuss Andrew and Tim:
I'm kind of hoping that it the show's way of foreshadowing Andrew's return.
