@ Bel, I agree with the first two paragraphs, the dynamic is what balances them, when you watch Christians coming out it was the same, Ollie was very gentle and supportive and guided him through it, and that made Christian very loving and tender to Ollie and Christian made it clear very quickly that Ollie came first in all decisions.
However I disagree about the boxing thou, despite christian already having a couple of attacks earlier that day, he knew he was never to go in there again, I think he felt alone, no Gregor and Ollie was connecting with someone else and not him, he wanted to feel something, anything for that matter and Daniel not knowing gave him that push to get inside the ring.

I agree with Bel, I don't think that Chris would have collapsed if he hadn't pushed himself so hard to defeat that guy in the last round. After the first fight he was fine. Yes, he was trying to feel something and I think he didn't think his heart condition had anything to do with the way he felt. He was always ignoring that typed of thing. Olli always worried.
You're right devsah, in the sense that he had lost Gregor. That's who he would go off into the woods with to get prospective on things, but he wasn't there, so he got in the ring. Another place where he could find clarity.

Yesterday was such a crazy day for me that I had no time to watch and so watched (and rewatched and rewatched) into the wee hours. Oh, Jo and Thore, it's your fault I've now got these ugly dark circles under my eyes. ;D Oh, that last scene. And Christian, sweetie, I'll excuse you for now, cause coming back from the dead can take it out of you , but Olli needs that load of guilt over causing your collapse removed, pronto. You're both allowed to feel guilty for messing up the relationship, but you need to let him know you made the decision to step into that ring, not him. But it's funny how Olli states that if he was together with Christian he would have taken care of him and he would never have gone boxing. And he tells Christian himself he will take care that he won't do anything stupid in the future. Olli just can't help feeling responsible for Christian and taking care of him. And Christian needs that in his life. Without Olli, he's totally lost. Many people don't like this, but I love that dynamic in their relationship. It makes it look real. And Olli is so cute when he's worrying about Christian. As for the guilt, I hope Christian (or Daniel) explains to Olli that he was just having some fun. And he only keeled over because of that moron, who threatened the love of his life. I agree that worried Olli is very appealing. But sometimes Olli needs someone to take care of him, too. He sort of said that at the breakfast table a few episodes ago when Andi and Jessica were criticizing him for how he was treating Rafael. That "what about me?" resonated on several levels. I was not a big fan of Rafael, but I can see that being his appeal for Olli -- he cooked for him, he was always waiting for him, he took care of him. Now of course Christian has taken care of Olli many times -- two examples that leap to mind are after the Axel attack and the surgery, or, more recently, when he pulled Olli out of the street when he was suicidal. But those were instances when Olli couldn't take care of himself. That's what a loving partner does, help you when you can't help yourself. But you can also support someone by stepping back a bit and allowing them to learn to help themselves. And yes, I do hope someone tells Olli what happened in the ring. He deserves to know how much he's loved.

I agree. At this point, I think that Olli feels that Christian was feeling lost. When it was far from the truth when things started. I too would love for Olli to find out who Christian's last opponent was and that that whole thing doesnt turn out to be a big plot point. Of course Christian's last opponent was made to be Axel's friend and he provoked Christian like that so Christian's beating him up and over-exciting himself would cause his collapse, but I would love for Olli to know about it, so he understood Christian wasn't being reckless (because he was boxing for fun and things were going smoothly) and he was willing to risk his health and his life to defend Olli. Olli deserves to know how much Christian loves him.

Teachergirl, I think that Olli finding out about what Christian was doing in the ring and how he was beating that guy to make sure that Olli stayed safe will go along way in showing him how far he will go to take care of and protect Olli. More so than cooking him dinner and being waiting there at home for him when he gets there. There are other non-dramtic times when Chris has taken care of Olli. A time springs to mind when a white pants clad Christisn comes into NL and draps his arms around Olli and asks if he's coming upstairs. Olli tells him in a minute and he tells him that he will make something for dinner for them.

I think Christian didn't pay much attention to his "attacks" earlier. The last time that happened to him (before the marriage proposal) it ended up being a pinched nerve. And the way he talked to Hagen leads me to believe he felt it might have been the same thing. Before he goes into the boxing ring, he remembers he isn't supposed to box and he tell Daniel he doesn't want to do it. But then daniel says the opponents are weak and he could easily beat them and it would be good for him to let his mind off things. And Christian agrees, maybe because he wasn't going to over-exhert himself and he had been doing a lot of sports and he didn't nhave any problems. So, my point is that Christian wasn't acting irresponsibly, risking his life on purpose. Of course he should have been more cautious and if Olli was there he would never have let him do it, but he probably thought he would just let some steam off and that was it. teachgirl Yes, Olli liked Rafa and he probably needed someone to take care of him, too. But that wasn't Christian's fault. He tried to be close to Olli many times and we know how that ended. And Christian also used to take care of Olli in their day to day life. He would also cook for him and be very loving and tender. If he wasn't doing it at that moment, it was because Olli didn't want it (or tried to make everyone believe he didn't ) maybe Christian's cooking isn't so sophisticated as Rafa's, but he's trying. At least, he would cook a lot for Charlie.

And with those white pants, I think Olli expected more than just pasta... ;D ;D

Yes, I only gave two examples, and yes I know that Chritian took care of Olli in many everyday ways, that they took care of each other -- it's exactly those things that make their relationship so realistic and so appealing and lovely, all the little daily gestures. But Olli hadn't felt (really had blocked himself from feeling) those things for a long time. Rafael's gestures were pale (very pale) substitutes for Christian, "band aids" just like Rafael himself. I don't want Olli to stop taking care of Christan, or vice versa, but I really believe that one of the best ways for Christian to take care of Olli is to ensure that Olli doensn't have to take care of him quite so often. And I believe this whole rotten experience will have taught Christian that.

He said so in the beginning of their relationship (in fact, they weren't even together, then) and I think it's part of the way Olli loves. I think that, for Olli, loving someone means, among other things, taking care of that person. The way I "read" Olli, he can't separate the two things. (And I really love that about him.)

Okay, this is getting scary. I was going to say the same thing, but I will add, that I don' tthink that Christian needs Olli to take care of him, he just needs to feel his love, which he hasn't for a long time. Olli has been turning away from him. Pushing him away. This last time he was pushing him to to take the new job and selling the building. Now for the first time in a long time Olli isn't pushing him away and wants him in his life for a very, very, very long time. Christian doesn't need to tell Olli that he doens't need him to take care of him, any more than Olli needs to tell Christian, that he doesn't need him to beat people up when he thinks they are a threat. That is what they do and that's what makes them special. They just need to keep the lines of communication open so that they don't shut off from each other again.

Christian will be fine: 1) Charlie really pulled his ear and made a very emotional scene; 2) Olli sneaked up on him in the middle of the night, when he was sound asleep, and scared the hell out of him; 3) They got caught making out by Helena and Olli took a noisy dive into the floor; 4) He got bad news from Daniel. If that didin't kill him, I'm sure he'll be able to take on anything. BTW, squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! This was so lovely! (Ok, apparently they didn't get to have that talk we wanted, but... who cares? ;D)

(Ok, apparently they didn't get to have that talk we wanted, but... who cares? ;D) There will be a time for this (if they will want to have the boys talking seriously, about their problems in the last months;in a soap it's rare something like this. But who knows? hope never dies ;D). I am happy that today they have preferred to be light in their history; after all, Christian still has to recover so it's better to postpone the discussion to another time. It's time for them, and for us, to enjoy their re-union. I really liked Chrolli's scenes. I found boring Mallorca

Oh God! This episode took me by surprise, a wonderful surprise! They were both so cute and funny and adorable, like the Chrolli we used to know! They are really back! And of course that scene at the hospital was beyond great. I'm so looking forward to May's video! I want to know what they were saying. Like yesterday, I won't go to bed before I can watch it! So happy to see them reunited!! Love them so much!!

Charlie was so adorable today, how worried she was about Christian. She almost looked afraid to walk into the room. If I'm not mistaken she even said he's her family (my German is awful so feel free to correct me! ) Charlie replaced the swans!! Those intimate scenes in the hospital where they spent time reconnecting, holding one another, kissing, caressing, enjoying being close to one another again were truly beautiful. Thore and Jo are just pure magic together.

I think you're right about Charlie calling Christian family. Not so sure about the swans. Don't need Olli getting hooked on symbolism again.
I loved Olli sneaking into Christian's room, but he could have given him another heart attack, but the hospital scene was so sweet. Olli falling off the bed and Christian pretending nothing was wrong was priceless.
Poor Christian, not being able to ride. I hope he'll be able to cope with that, but he does have Olli.
R left a note. Bye, bye and don't come back.

I don't know why they bothered having Rafael leave a note; I'm not sure how many of us were wondering what was on his mind when he left.
