An Australian short (1:56) promoting marriage equality which has had 1.6 million hits on YouTube in 3 days!
The film charts a relationship from first meeting to engagement, and is shot from the point of view of one character, who strikes up conversation with a man called Paul.
After the short follows the characters through first meetings with families, illnesses, holidays and celebrations, Paul proposes.
It is only revealed in the final moments that the character from whose point of view the story is shot is a man.

Isn't it wonderful!! I love it to pieces and I've been watching it two or three times a day since I first saw it linked on Twitter. Over two million hits now!

If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but less magical.

It's such a great short film, showing what a life together with someone is really all about. The ups, the downs, it doesn't matter if it's between a straight couple or a gay couple. It's about sharing your life with someone and building a life together.

It's great and very emotive, the truth is that this ad has more meaning in two minutes than a lot of two hour films

What a great short! The people that conceived and made such a wonderful, powerful "message" are geniuses . No wonder why the clip had that amazing amount of hits (I must have contributed with at least 10 views )[/size] Thank you for sharing!
