Just a quick FYI. In one scene where Cheeks is showing his husband around and they enter the bedroom there is a picture on the dresser that Cheeks places face down. That is him and Adam Lambert (his former boyfriend)

More details about the second season --
They are looking for more funding. They are almost at the halfway point.

I hope they find that funding!! But what exactly would they need funding for?? I mean, it's just very short episodes and only three characters, and only one camera man would be needed. Maybe I'm over thinking it.

Shoots are actually very expensive. There's multiple camera angles, locations, cast and crew, craft services, costumes, equipment, processing fees, etc. Each shot has to be marked and shot from different angles. Even for 5 minutes it can take many hours to get the scene.
Last "Season" was meant to serve as a possible "Pilot" episode to be shopped around (all the clips together equaling one full episode) that's why they were so short.
However, for some reason, a lot of the folks producing web series are under the impression that people won't watch online videos that are longer than 5 or 7 minutes.
It's ridiculous reasoning because watching a random cat video is VERY different than watching an actual scripted episode of a show.
People watch hour-long dramas (usually more like 48 minutes) so I don't think a 15 minute web clip would be inconceivable.

I thought they did it more like on a free time kind of thing. I just know a lot of Vloggers that do a lot of clips (average of 5 mins each) and in the clips they have a lot of angles here and there, HD, and just friends or family helping out as a small crew and them using their own clothes (fancy ones sometimes), renting or borrowing costumes, and that kind of stuff, so I thought that's what these three were doing. But thank you for the info HQ75!! And Kev, I'm glad they finally got the funding!! I really want to watch th next season!! Hope it tops the first one

afterelton.com's morning meme has a brief blip about Husbands: This is from the rehearsals for season two of Husbands the Series, and I admit that I'm a bit jealous that Cheeks is so close to my man Sean Hemeon. On a side note, I'll be talking to Sean, Cheeks, and Jane Espenson later this month as they finish filming.

Ed Kennedy from afterelton.com is skyping with Jane and Cheeks Thursday for an afterelton.com piece: On a programming note, I'm going to be Skyping with Jane Espenson and Cheeks (I think my stalking scared Sean Hemeon off)about the new season of Husbands the Series on Thursday, so if there's something you want me to ask them, please put it in the comments.
