You know what you've just reminded me of, don't you?...! I don't know about you, but I was thinking about that scene where Olli loses his engagement ring in the grass and then Christian and Olli start "fighting" and it's one on top of the other and... I'd better stop here, right? they should title one of their episodes as 'Mystery of the Rings' ;D with all the fuss around rings, what better than to dedicate a whole episode to ring-drama!

We're constantly reminded that VL doesn't do subtle and really, they reached a new level of symbolism with these rings. Since before the wedding the rings had been mentioned, looked at, worn by others, touched by others, taken off, put on, put inside boxes, removed from boxes, lost, burnt, dissapeared or thown away almost every 2 Chrolli-centric episode! They're more OTP than Chrolli!! ;D

Well it does have Chrisitian's name in it, so if by chance it washes up on the shore and someone found it, they could return it.
Isn't it interesting that as Marlena is slapping Dana that Jessica is standing there with a camera and the lo and behold it ends up in the paper. Coincedence? Maybe, mayb not.

Can someone tell me what the last text said? (I got the "i'm sorry") When I post up the scenes later, there will be a full transcript to accompany it. However, on that last text... Sorry. Didn't mean it like that. I'll find another solution. CJust a lil 'addendum' to the above translation....the 'like that' ('so' in the German) is extremely literal...I'm changing it now to simply "Didn't mean it." My videos (tonight's scenes will be uploaded in 2 parts because of yt limits on the vid length) and caps will be up 'in a while' (so busy tonight! *argh!*)....

Wow, that last scene between Christian and Olli was oh so good, you can just see the love that is still there between them. Poor Christian looked like he was going to burst from just shaking Olli's hand, you can see it all over their faces, they are so in love.
The scene with Christian and Theresa is like they never happened, I'm just shaking my head, when did they end.
Ansgar is a trip but what a guy, he took the head seat at the table kicking out Ludwig, too funny.
Tristain travels with a condom, I guess he's always hoping for a good lay and got it with his brother's wife, what a family.
The wardrobe department must love Elizabeth because they dress her better than any of the other women on the show, she always looks good in her clothes.

My videos of the 'relevant' scenes from tonight's VL (+ Lugia's transcripts...plus 'extra bits'...plus a few lil bits and pieces from me! ).... www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEsHQ9PmoFA(Olli is in the first scene but has no dialogue.) (Castle kitchen, scene from 1.02)Christian: Do you think it will come to layoffs? Justus: Nothing of the sort! Theresa: Not yet! But the way the Lahnsteins come up with new surprises every week, I think so! Christian: The stud farm won't survive it. Ansgar will get to work on that first. And I thought it was going nicely for once. Theresa: Well. You should've listened to me back then. We could already have our own stud farm with a winning horse! Christian: Yeah, yeah, I know! Theresa: Will the derby take place at all? Thomas: No idea. I could well imagine that Ansgar will blow off the whole thing. Justus: I understand that you're all worried, but can we please stop with these insupportable speculations and just go back to work?! Christian: If he calls off the derby, I will never make a name for myself as a coach! I can forget it! I will never get a chance like that again! Theresa: Sorry if I'm blunt, but perhaps you should already start looking for a new career. (No Limits, scene from 1.52)Marlene: I've won! Tristan: Marlene is having a real lucky streak. Miriam: Yes, and bad luck in love. Tristan: That doesn't have to stay that way. Olli: I really admire Marlene for that. A moment ago there was a big scene with tears and a slap in the face, and now? Completely changed. Tristan: That's the difference between ordinary mortals and a star. Yes, Marlene is a very special person. Cheers! Marlene: Ah, Tristan, many thanks! Cheers! That was a mad winner's hand! Tristan: You seem to know about winning. Marlene: Well, gentlemen! You've heard it! I can't lose today. What do you think about a round of real poker? Gentlemen: Okay. Marlene: I'll put in 50 Euros.(Stud farm, scene from 2.50)Christian: How could that happen?! I mean, Ansgar, of all people! Hagen: Later, okay? Let's please change the subject. Christian: Okay. But I think you won't like my next all that much, either. Hagen: What happens to the stud farm? I don't know! Christian: Well, great. Hagen: What else am I supposed to tell you, Christian? That everything will work out?! The stud farm will continue to be?! I can't! It's not returning a profit! And Ansgar has a slightly different way of approaching business than my father! That which doesn't yield a profit... Christian: Yeah, it gets axed! I know. Hagen: Well, sure, the board would have to vote first. And I believe that won't happen before the derby. Christian: You believe that or you know that?! Hagen: I believe that. Sorry, but I can sadly not promise you that you have a future here! Christian: I need this job, Hagen! Establishing myself as a coach in horse racing sports is maybe my last chance to pull something off at all! But that's only possible if I can work at the stud farm longterm! Hagen: I know, Christian.(No Limits, scene from 3.53)Christian's text message: "Must speak to you. Urgently. In a moment at the Rhine? Christian" Olli: I need to leave for a moment! Will you hold the fort in the meantime? Miriam: Christian? Olli: Yep! Miriam: Then go! And finally have a talk! Olli: That ship has long sailed, Miri. Thanks, anyway. (to Tristan) I need to leave for a moment. Can you watch out a little so that it won't turn into a mass orgy? Tristan: Discipline and order, my principles. Olli: Thanks. Ciao! Tristan: Mass orgy... Marlene: Tristan, you definitely have to come with me! Tristan: What's up? Marlene: You have to be my lucky charm! I don't know if my hand is good enough! Tristan: Say, are you playing for money here?! Marlene: Yes! Tristan: Be glad Olli isn't catching wind of this! The man is a real bundle of nerves! Marlene: Well, as far as I witnessed, he's just stormed off. Tristan: Can I still join in? Marlene: Of course! Tristan: And, Miriam?! Turn up the music! I need an atmosphere to win! Miriam: Okay!(The Rhine, scene from 5.05)Christian: Yeah, I'll get straight to the point. Look. It's possible that I'll lose my job. Olli: Oh! Christian: Yeah, and that's why I have to maybe start my own business. Olli: Okay, and...? Christian: Yeah, and I need cash for that! And I don't have it. Nowhere near enough. That's why you have to maybe buy me out...I mean the house. Olli: But I thought you would remain silent partner? We talked about that. Christian: I know. I thought so. Olli: Yeah, and how certain is that about the job? Christian: I don't know. Olli: Well, when will you hear about it?! Christian: Well, I don't know yet, either! Olli: Great! And how am I supposed to do this?! Do you think I have the cash to buy you out?! Christian: Then we have to maybe sort this out in some way. Olli: Christian, "maybe" won't do the trick. I can't afford it, no matter if it's "maybe" or "maybe not". Christian: What?! And that's it?! Not even an attempt to manage it in some way?! Olli: You know full well how strictly I have to budget. Christian: But I also know that you have reserve funds. Olli: Yes, for emergencies! Christian: Yes, this maybe IS an emergency, damn it?! Olli: Wrong! It's maybe your emergency! I won't jeopardise my existence for it! Christian: Well, thanks! Thanks for your help! Olli: Nope. Thank YOU! For definitely wanting an amicable divorce; without stress; without demands! We can see how well that's working! (No Limits, scene from 6.21)Tristan: Hey, where did the music go?! Marlene: Miri, what's up?! Police woman: Good evening! We have a complaint of disturbance of the peace! Tristan: Good evening! We're sorry. We're having a little themed party here. We've probably overshot the mark a bit! Police woman: Yes, seems like it to me as well. Miriam: We'll be really quiet from now on. Tristan: You won't hear us again. Promise. And after hours, which will hopefully be soon, you're of course welcome to join in! Police woman: No, thanks. Who owns the bar? Miriam: He's not here right now. But you can trust us. I've been working here forever. Tristan: We, of course, want to spare you the annoying paperwork. That's why we promise to be as quiet as a mouse from now on. Police woman: Okay, then we don't want to be awkward, right?! But please, really see to it that the music won't be... Tell me, are you playing for money here?! You surely don't have a license for that. Tristan: And if we put the money quickly away and pretend it's never been there? Police woman: The party is over! But I need to ask all of you to remain in this room until we've put down your personal data! (No Limits, scene from 7.52)Police woman: Furthermore, I need to ask you to ask the owner, Mr Oliver Sabel, to report to the police station immediately. The same goes for you two as organizers. There will be a complaint of illegal gambling against the three of you. I still need your personal data, please. Tristan: Tristan von Lahnstein, residing at Castle Königsbrunn. Police woman: "Von Lahnstein". Uh huh. Apparently, the problems your family is in at the moment aren't enough for you and you want to create a few more. And your name? Marlene: Marlene von Lahnstein? Tristan: The thing with my father and my sister doesn't belong here. Police woman: Of course not! But with illegal gambling, you don't exactly see to it that the trouble for your family diminishes. Tristan: Listen. Can't we just handle this some way? I mean, there weren't even 1000 Euros on the table here. Police woman: Well, a) 1000 Euros are maybe not a lot for YOU, but they are for others, and b) without a license even 10 Euros are chargeable. Marlene: Tell me, is there an education to become a police woman or did you win your job on a lottery scratch ticket?! Police woman: I'd say that's insulting an official. If you would please accompany me to the police station. Marlene: Excuse me?! Tristan: You can't do that! Police woman: You bet I can! Tristan: How moronic must you be not to understand that absolutely nothing happened here?! Police woman: Okay, and because of that you'll also accompany me to the police station! Let's go! Tristan: You can't show up here and make arbitrary... Police woman: Yes?!... Tristan: Nothing! Police woman: Good! Let's go! (to Marlene) Come on! (Flatshare, scene from 9.41)Olli: Hey! Andi: Hi! Olli: Why is the party over already? Andi: No idea. I didn't go downstairs. I took care of Dana. Why are you in such a "good" mood? Olli: Seems that the amicable divorce won't happen. Dana: Hi. Jessica: That really was a top night! Olli: What happened? Jessica: First Kim shows up in the same dress as me and then the cops close the joint! Olli: What was that? Jessica: How she looked in that thing! I really think she shit her brain! Olli: No, hold on, the first! Why were the cops there?! Jessica: Disturbance of the peace and... Olli: And what?! Jessica: Illegal gambling. They took Tristan and Marlene to the police station. Dana: What?! Marlene has been arrested?! Jessica: Yeah, looks like it! Andi: Dana!! Olli: The day of a thousand catastrophes... (Police station, scene from 10.45)Police woman: Mr Sabel?! Olli: Yes! Police woman: Police sergeant, first class, Monika Behr. Olli: Hello! Police woman: Did your employee, Miss Pesch, notify you? Olli: No, but I was told about some kind of illegal gambling? But that's not possible. I specially saw to it that the gambling was just for chips and nothing else. Police woman: Well, nobody was really abiding to that, though. Olli: Besides, that wasn't my event. I only provided the No Limits for an acquaintance... Police woman: Then you should choose your acquaintances a little more carefully. A charge will be filed, at any rate. Olli: And what does that mean for me? Police woman: Likely at least a four-digit fine; you'll get a criminal record; and, worst case, withdrawal of your license.www.youtube.com/watch?v=igFDSXoSPg0(No Limits/Charlie's flat)Christian's text message: Sorry. Didn't mean it. I'll find another solution. C(Police station) (not in video)Tristan: I hope it's not chargeable to get a bit comfortable here. Police woman: No. Of course not. Unfortunately, there's a problem. Tristan: Shhh! Police woman: A problem with our server. That's why, unfortunately, you have to wait for a while longer. My shift's until 8. I think by then the problem will be solved. Tristan: Take your time. Marlene: Is it morning already? Tristan: Almost. Did you sleep well? Marlene: The absinth really is witches' brew! And you? Tristan: Yes, well. Thank you. Marlene: Fine!(Stud farm, scene from 1.10)Christian: You're not serious. Olli: Yes! I'll get mail from the prosecution department at some point. Christian: And what were Tristan and Marlene thinking?! Olli: Well, nothing, obviously! Doesn't matter, I... I actually just wanted to thank you for your text message. It was the only nice thing that happened to me yesterday. Christian: Yes, then... then let's definitely bury the topic of money now, right? We'll just handle our divorce like two normal people. Olli: That would be great. Thanks. Yes...(Street) (not in video)Marlene: This police woman simply hated us! She made us wait for as long as she could! Viktoria: That must've been hell, sitting in a small, dark room and waiting for an eternity, right? (Marlene has a flashback of just before she had sex with Tristan) Marlene: Yes, that was really "bad". Viktoria: And what will happen now? Will they press charges against you? Marlene: No idea. But Tristan says he has it under control! Viktoria: That's really nice of him. Thomas: Well, a thing like that isn't a problem with the necessary wherewithal. What was it like in the waiting room, the whole night? What did you do? (Marlene has a flashback of her putting a condom on Tristan) You probably didn't shut one eye, did you? Marlene: Us?! Oh, we talked about the tour and about any number of things, and then I slept a little too. Viktoria: Say, you're wearing his jacket, aren't you?! Marlene: Yes, I was cold! Viktoria: He's a real gentleman! (Marlene has another flashback of the night before...) Thomas: I'm hungry. How about a proper breakfast for you? Marlene: Oh, good idea! Thomas: Okay! Viktoria: Come! Thomas: Then I'm inviting you!(Lahnstein Holdings/Castle kitchen/Wolf family apartment, intercut scenes from 2.15)Ansgar: And that's why I'll face the upcoming challenges with great pleasure as the new head of Lahnstein Enterprises. Incidentally, I'd like to thank my predecessor, Ludwig von Lahnstein, very much. (Everyone claps. Ludwig and Ansgar pose together for a few pictures.) I can't emphasize enough how thankful I am to Count Lahnstein for the work he's done so far. I'll continue this work with pride and also with a little humbleness. Like most of those present know, the global markets are going through a time of grave change, the consequences of which are impossible to foresee. Therefore, it will be imperative for me, as the new head of Lahnstein Enterprises, to examine the complete branches of business of our company to the effect that they're providing stability to the business or that they aren't. The result of this inspection might not please everybody, but it will ultimately lead to Lahnstein Enterprises standing up to global challenges in the future. Theresa: In other words, that which doesn't yield enough profit will be dissolved. Kurt Schiller: Looks like it! Christian: I told you so! Frau Linse: I need to bake something! Ansgar: Nevertheless, for every possibly grave change to make, I will of course never disregard an iron rule of the Lahnstein company, which says that all employees belong to the family. And, of course, you'll never let your family down. Kim: What?! What's he saying?! Ludwig: That he even utters the word "family". Ansgar: Of course, I'll do everything never to betray this principle. For that's the tradition all members of the Lahnstein house are committed to. Nevertheless, you'll surely agree with me when I say "today a new era begins". Thank you very much.

I love all the scenes between Christian and Olli. Especially the last scene, you can so tell that they still love each other. And I love that Olli told Christian that the text that Christian sent was the nicest thing that happen to him yesterday. And the hand shake. Loved Christian's reaction to the hand shake. And I like that Olli told Christian about what happen with the cops. I'm glad at least there starting to open up to each other about the problems there having. I know Dana deserved that slapped from Marlene, but I still felt sorry for her. Poor Dana. And Tristin carrying condoms with him. Hmmm maybe Tristin was in the boys scouts. That's why he's always prepared. LOL ;D And again please STFU Jessica. Nobody cares about your stupid problems. All that girl does is think about herself. And I hope Olli doesn't really get in trouble with the law, over that gambling crap. Olli should never trust Tristin and Marlene to do any event at NL again. THANK YOU SO MUCH Joanna for everything you do. And thanks to Lugia too.

Wonders never do cease. Christian actually apologizes right after a blow up and without being talked into action by a third party. It’s amazing it’s taken so long and an actual breaking point for this character to start baby steps on the most basic things. See, it’s actually doable to have them fight without one acting like a superior and smug a-hole. If this was the episode Olli was supposed to act as a spoiled brat, then I probably missed the memo as well. Even if I’m still far from wishing for them to become a couple again and although I've given up expecting much from the storyline at all, it’s actually refreshing to be given the impression that Christian as an individual character can think after a fight and more importantly act after doing the thinking in a constructive way. He panicked too fast about losing his job and didn’t take the time to think of his own options before falling back on his ownership rights. It’s actually smarter for his own sake to leave that as a safety blanket of last resort rather than his first option. It would also avoid a clash where Olli would feel like he’s going back on his word.
In addition, I think the episode showed to both characters in their respective situations that they are really no longer in a place where they can just run to each other for help as soon as something comes up; they’re separated, so they should try to deal with their respective problems on their own first. The support they can give each other – consciously or not – along the way is just gravy, not a matter of course.
I have a hard time feeling sorry for Dana, even though I’m not crazy about Marlene. But I like Marlene with Tristan quite a bit. And I enjoyed their banter with the female cop as well; I liked that no b.s. woman and how she was matter of fact with everyone, Olli included.
Thanks for the clips and translations.
