OMG! If you didn't see it, check out the new pics at the blog, or follow bonobochick's link in the spolier thread. The neurons in this pea brain of mine can handle about two weeks worth of spoilers: excited about Gregor finding out about Christian; nich (?) doping - perfect. Let's flush some of the angst down the drain I always say, there's plenty more where that came from. Then I read the above post. That was it - NEURON OVERDRIVE. I couldn't figure out what you were talking about. I went from pillar to post oh so desperately trying to figure it out. LINKS, POSTS, THREADS, BLOGS. And then I hit the right key and the light came on. BE STILL MY FOOLISH HEART. Please god don't let that be a dream - naw, it can't be - Olli looks as if he wasn't expecting it. Gonna be a long summer *sigh* If this is a dream, who wants to wake up? If not, who wants to sleep? My brain deserves a drink, and my stomach needs to be fed. Hasta la vista!

Très bonne idée que tu as eue là skillian! Very good idea skillian! N'ayant ni le cable ni une antenne, nous ne recevons malheureusement pas TV5. No cable and no antenna means no TV5. Toutefois, nous avons Télé-Québec qui diffuse un certain nombre d'émissions (notamment Clara Sheller - émission que j'ai adorée) en provenance de France. However, Télé-Québec (a sort of PBS equivalent) broadcasts a few French shows, my favourite being Clara Sheller; looking forward to season2. J'ai bien hâte de voir la deuxième saison. Les inondations sont-elles le résultat de fortes pluies? À moins que ce ne soit parce qu'un barrage de castors a cédé (clin d'oeil à sheepie)? Was the flooding caused by heavy rains? or the result of a beaver dam breach (wink, wink sheepie)?

I think she's secretly trying to distract people from the scary Voldemort birthday necklace. Do you think it worked? What are they trying to do to the poor girl? I really like Vanessa. Deniz is a mixed up kid. Btw, how old is he supposed to be? 17? 18? So he'd be a teenager... well that's it then... hormones are playing havoc with his brain. I have sudden flashbacks...OK, I'm gonna give the kid a break... for now... But what's Roman excuse? Sorry folks, but he's starting to get on my nerves. I'd gladly volunteer to kick his butt if it weren't for the fact that I'd hate to hurt him.

I hope Télé-Québec will broadcast season2 also. I was hooked from the very first episode of season1. Not so sure about the new cast though... but then again: il faut donner une chance au coureur. JF

Tks bpurple. Nice trip down memory lane. I stopped watching Coronation Street after Todd's departure from the street. I've now gone back to watching it again. Hey! It's only a soap opera, but such a mighty fine one. JF

Those high notes were all off key though. That was painful. I think it's time I get a hearing check. It all sounded pretty good to me. Mind you, this from a guy who can't stand Céline Dion. ;D That might explain it.

Sorry folks. I've just noticed that there's a thread about ACTING. I guess the last part of my comment should have gone there. So many threads and so little time. It'll get better. JF.

Well with his sexuality already being in question because of Olli's previous presence, even if they broke up, I'm sure the question would come up again, and given Christian's honesty (remember that's what Coco loved about him) he would probably feel guilty making either of those statements, because an omission of the truth is still a lie. (man! is that a run on sentence or what! Now, in my view Christian is bi, not gay. He may or may not feel a more general attraction to men, we just don't know right now. He may lean more towards women but have been particularly attracted to Olli. However, the finer nuances of the Kinsey Scale are usually ignored by most people. If you're in a relationship with someone of the opposite-sex you're usually considered "straight". If you're in a relationship with someone who's the same-sex then you're "gay". Bisexuality perplexes most people and so the label is usually only applied to someone who is promiscuous with both sexes. Now notice that Olli didn't try to intervene to prevent Christian from coming out to Gregor individually. He only tried to stop Christian from a mass coming out that he thought would threaten his potential career in boxing. Olli's not trying to enforce complete secrecy. In fact, he's perfectly fine with Christian being out to the people close to them. The show is called " Forbidden Love" after all. If their relationship were perfectly acceptable to everyone around them then it wouldn't be very "forbidden" now would it? You've hit the nail on the head. We so often tend to forget the numerous shades of grey. We've been conditioned to think in terms of black and white. When grey rears its ugly head, we're thrown for a loop, stuck between a rock and a hard place. I sympathise with Christian's situation: from complete acceptance to marginalisation because he doesn't quite fit the mold anymore. On a different note. I really, really love the actress who plays Judith. Did you see her face when she walked in the No Limits and heard what's-his-name singing? If that's not great acting, I don't know what is.

So, since a bunch of you watch the German shows without speaking the language, any words you have learned by now? Aside from "schwul" I mean BTW, love this thread. It's like attending a General Assembly meeting at the United Nations, without the posturing and the various political agendas of course. Halunke = rascal, scoundrel ('s that right?) (I googled it and the word seemed offensive. Is it a matter of nuance? Tone of voice used?) Vasse = wait! (I know the spelling is wrong because google came back with Australian wines and Toronto real estate. I am not that linguistically-challenged.) Vas ist das? = What's going on? What are you talking about? (I think I'm in the ballpark, but I'm not sure. Again, wrong spelling.) Gotta get meself an En/Ger dictionary. That's it for starters. I wish there was a green smiley. I'd stick it right here to indicate how green with envy I am. You lot all seem to master so many languages. You impress the bejesus out of me. Chapeau!

What exactly is Karma on our username profile when we post something and why do some have more than others? Also after so many posts, what is the next level we obtain and how many posts does it take? Glad someone asked the question. The answers provided remove some of the obstacles I face as I ever so slowly make my way out of the technologically-challenged closet. I've just previewed my post and I'm jumping for joy... I've managed to 'quote.' What I'd like to know is how you can put a quote inside another quote. Is this the right place to ask questions of a technical nature? All of this is so foreign to me. Just let me know and I'll do my darnest to find the right thread. Tks.

Just in case you're wondering... Neand is short for neanderthal. No cell phone, no answering machine, no cable. Do you know how long it took me to figure out how to access this message box? Still praying to the gods of technology it's the right place. AVATARS? SMILIES? TAGS? MESSAGE ICON? QUOTES? Forget it. I believe in the existence of a parallel universe inhabited by the technologically challenged. I am very comfortable in the suburbs of reality (some friends insist that I live somewhere on the outskirts of sanity). I was a nickname-less sod until I joined the Canadian Armed Forces (shortly before the end of the last Ice Age). Btw, it's JF (pronounced jay-eff). To paraphrase Descartes: 'I was nicknamed, therefore I was.' Voracious reader: Atwood, Davies, Austen, Solzhenitsyn, P.D. James, Simenon, Tolkien, Agatha Christie... even fanfic (Craig and Luke being my favourites - you've got to check Baxter's stories). BBQ addict: who needs a stove? Favourite shows: VL, AWZ, HO, Les Bleus (all thanks to YT); Clara Scheller (Télé-Québec); Tout sur moi, Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin (Radio-Canada); Annie et ses hommes (TVA); Coronation Street (CBC). ATWT intentionally left out until they finally get it right. Favourite movies: Steel Magnolias, Enchanted April, Shelter, Babette's Feast, Romero, Indian Summer, L'homme que j'aime, Juste une question d'amour... Work-related forays into the other universe have taken me to Iqaluit, Alert, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, England, Germany, Gibraltar, the Azores, Bermuda, the States... (Google Earth the first two, should you be curious.) Fashion sense: non-existent. One of my students (a thirtysomething businessman) once declared: "You look like a Cristmas tree." Not that I am colour-blind; I'm blind to colour matching. If it's clean, wear it. You're probably wondering what kind of loony you've allowed in. Don't send me into exile just yet. The road less travelled can be most enjoyable.
