Hey guys! My first post here on the ED board (although I'm not really a regular on any other board now, am I? ;D ) But I've been constantly voting on the last three twitter competitions and I'm surely not the only one beeing irritated by the whole "only XY-khan" in the comments. Guess I've just made 1,18 billion devoted Indians my enemy with this: "Guys, could you please tone down the whole "plz vote for whatever Khan!"? Literally begging others 15.000 times a day doesn't really imply confidence and is a bit intrusive.
Furthermore, people who come to this site certainly have someone specific in mind they wanna vote for already, so I highly doubt the constant invocation will do any good.
Keep up your eagerness but please don't get too frenetic, it started sounding more than desperate a while ago.
Nevertheless, happy voting everyone!So hopefully next time actors get voted for based on their acting abilities (namely current #4 "Actor of the Month", hint, hint ), not blind fanaticism. Though highly unlikely given the sheer number of Bollywood fans. Therefore I'm quite pleased Danny is holding up this well. Shows there are some pretty dedicated people here as well. And this is not a bad thing by any means |

oh this is just getting worse...  I think I might have stirred up a hornets' nest with my comment... now the khan-minions are just going on about how "down to earth" and "honest" their godlike creatures are (see the oxymoron there?). ;D At least over here people are obsessed because Danny is such a flaming good actor; they simply believe the Khans are "top of the world" because of their obsession. I guess it's no use Aaaanyway ;D it's still 17 days and 18hrs to go for Actor of the Month and the gap between Danny and #3 Kevin Sorbo hasn't been increasing like this mad in the last couple of days, sooo with a bit of luck and work 3rd place is within reach (unless of course yet another Khan pops up out of nowhere...) |

Nice to see other people commenting about the Twitter contests. Welcome sundew[/color]. Your point about the Indian sub-continent voting is correct. Its been obvious for the last week that they are block voting for the Bollywood actors. Votes cast for each of the top 2 have been almost identical on each of the last 4 days. Shahid Kapoor (in 6th spot) has always been in the top 10 and his movement is not yet a significant threat to Danny. But it is important that people keep voting! Sunday was disappointing I agree. 239 votes is by far the lowest daily total. In respect of the Mr Twitter competition its still early days and an hours concerted voting can make the difference of several places. (Danny's back at 26) Obly 6hrs 40mins until today's broadcast. 72hrs Aaron deprivation is hard to take!  |

As you all know a couple of days ago there was that terrible rumour that Danny was leaving and I tweeted him and he said he wasn't Well I emailed Kris Green from digital spy, and he also confirmed that Danny wasn't going anywhere ;D Here is his message: Hey,
I spoke to Danny the other day and he has no plans to leave, his future is in Emmerdale.
There'll be an interview up with him on DS on Friday.
