Thursday 9th November:
Aaron reluctantly agrees to take Gerry on at the scrapyard.

Victoria convinces Aaron to take a drive in Rebecca's car to see why it's playing up.

Liv makes a call instructing someone to go to the scrapyard. Robert's left reeling when Liv scolds him for his betrayal of Aaron.

Robert's worried about Lawrence's intentions after they meet in a hotel bedroom.

Aaron inspects the engine of the broken down car, just as Rebecca's waters break.

Robert's full of dread when Lawrence suggests they should come clean to the family about how they feel about each other.

With the birth imminent; Aaron, Rebecca and Victoria get in the car in the hope the engine will last until they arrive at the hospital.

Liv's frustrated that Gerry is acting irresponsibly and encourages him to do some work. He starts to panic after he accidentally makes a dent in Aaron's car bonnet.

Rebecca squirms with discomfort as the car slowly jerks along. Aaron's hating every moment of it. Robert's run out of ideas about how to stall physical intimacy with Lawrence.



Part 2:
Robert's relieved when he gets a call saying Rebecca has gone into labour, which gets him out of the uncomfortable situation with Lawrence. Chrissie and Victoria accompany Rebecca to a birthing room.

Aaron's finding the arrival of Robert's baby tougher than he thought he would.

Liv's aghast to see Gerry has caused further damage to Aaron's car bonnet in a misguided effort to repair it. They're dreading Aaron's reaction.

A surprised Robert thanks Aaron for taking Rebecca to hospital. Lawrence calls Robert into the birthing room, leaving an emotional Aaron alone outside. Rebecca struggles through the pain as she gives birth to her son. Robert's dumbfounded at the sight of his new baby boy. Robert struggles to relax as he holds his son. Lawrence's emotions are all over the place.

Lawrence tells Robert to forget about them being together as a couple. Robert feels terrible for the turmoil he's caused.

Robert forces a smile when Diane claims his father would be proud of him. When he's left alone, it's clear that Robert's full of self-loathing.

Gerry's relieved when Aaron says he can work off the damage he's done to the bonnet. Liv's concerned to see how Robert's baby is affecting Aaron. Robert stands by Jack's grave and explains that he's leaving the village as his son would be better off without him.


Friday 10th November:
Aaron walks off annoyed after Doug mentions Robert's baby. Liv's concerned at how difficult Aaron is finding things.

The nurse suggests that Rebecca's ok to be released from hospital. Lawrence and Chrissie agree that Robert, who's still missing, should be there to support the mother of his child.

Aaron's shocked to hear Robert's plan to leave the village. Robert's full of self-loathing after explaining that his son would be better off without him. Diane's hopeful that the baby will have a positive influence on Robert.

Aaron's horrified to hear how Robert manipulated Lawrence. Robert admits that things would have been easier if his son had died, leaving Aaron astounded.

Tension rises as people start to wonder where Robert is. Aaron agrees the baby would be better off without Robert and that he should leave the village. Robert's ashamed of his own behaviour.

Diane is shocked to hear about Robert's plans to move to Slough. She rings Robert. An emotional Robert cancels an incoming call from Diane before getting into his car and driving off.

The Whites and Sugdens are delighted to see Robert putting in the effort with Seb. Robert pours out his soul to his son before promising to devote his life to being the best possible father.

Monday 13th November:
Robert’s moved when Rebecca names the baby ‘Sebastian Jack’. There’s awkwardness as Aaron congratulates them.
Robert’s left uncomfortable after Lawrence offers him a 10% share in Home Farm Estates. Lachlan aside, the Whites are glad when Robert agrees to join the business. Robert promises Lawrence won’t regret the decision.
Lachlan stews with anger over Robert’s new stake in Home Farm. Robert’s troubled as Lachlan promises revenge.

Tuesday 14th November:
Aaron and Chas criticize Cain for his attitude towards Isaac and the threat of the golf course replacing Wishing Well Cottage. Cain heads off, knowing they're right. Robert regrets the way he’s treated Aaron after seeing his reaction to Seb.
Lachlan isn't convinced that Robert wants to be a father to Seb. Robert's wary as Lachlan claims he won't rest until he's out of the picture. Robert vows to Rebecca he’ll do whatever it takes to gain Lachlan’s support.

Wednesday 15th November:
Aaron tells Paddy to let Rhona know about his relationship with Chas before he goes public with it.
Lachlan isn’t convinced when Robert pledges his share of Home Farm to Seb.

Thursday 16th November:
Seb’s crying causes Lachlan to lose his temper and he violently throws the TV remote at the wall. Rebecca insists she doesn’t want him near her baby anymore. Chrissie's shocked by her son's actions. Robert's horrified to learn about Lachlan shouting and throwing things at Seb. He's convinced Lachlan's out to get him and prepares to tell Chrissie and Rebecca what he's been up to. Chrissie tries to get Lachlan to attend an anger management course, while Robert threatens to kill him if he ever goes near Seb again. Lachlan storms off and plans to stay with Belle from now on.

Monday 20th November:
Aaron's surprised to see Robert doting over his new baby. He advises him not to tell the Whites what he has been up to. Aaron's amusement at Robert dishing out parental advice soon turns to worry as he divulges Lachlan's threats. Aaron is anxious for Belle to know the truth about Lachlan and he squirms as she confronts him about the prostitute. Belle says she loves Lachlan the way Aaron loved Robert. Aaron bitterly remarks that in the end Robert broke his heart.

Tuesday 21st November:
Rebecca is shocked to see Kath on the shopping channel demonstrating a product. She calls Robert for an explanation. Rebecca slaps Robert for his betrayal and refuses him access to Seb. Rebecca tells Robert to hand back the shares and leave for good.

Wednesday 22nd November:
Chrissie's upset that Rebecca was arguing about Robert when her son is missing and possibly dead.

Monday 20th November:
Lachlan reiterates to Belle that he's happier with the Dingle's, but Chrissie arrives to talk things through. Aaron's amusement at Robert dishing out parental advice soon turns to worry as he divulges Lachlan's threats. Aaron rushes off to warn Belle.

Aaron is anxious for Belle to know the truth about Lachlan. Lachlan squirms as Belle confronts him about the prostitute, leaving Belle in no doubt. Lachlan's ashamed to tell Belle the truth about the prostitute, but pleads with her to understand that Robert is twisting the truth. Disgusted, Belle tells him to do one.

Lachlan's gone missing and Robert's glad that everyone has seen his true nature. Chrissie begins to take the blame for the way he's turned out. Lachlan calls to say he will never be back. Belle wonders if she's made the right decision, she loves Lachlan just like Aaron loved Robert. Aaron bitterly remarks that in the end Robert broke his heart. She refuses a call from Lachlan.

Lachlan leaves a message of goodbye to Belle, clear he has a plan in place as he begins to drill.


Tuesday 21st November:
Chrissie's worried by the lack of contact from Lachlan. Lawrence is hurt when Chrissie throws the fact that Lachlan isn't his grandson in his face. Lawrence assures Chrissie that Lachlan will be back soon. Robert's relishing stepping up to the challenge of being a father, but is wracked with guilt over his scheming.

Aaron's surprised to see Robert doting over his new baby. He advises Robert not to tell the White's what he's been up to, but instead be the father that Seb needs.

Rebecca's shocked to see Kath on the shopping channel demonstrating a product. She calls Robert for an explanation. Robert's caught off guard when Rebecca mentions she saw Kath on TV. She's figured out he was trying to take over Home Farm and Robert's left wondering how he's going to get out of this one. Robert tries to worm his way out, claiming Lawrence and Chrissie would never have accepted his investment. He changes tact, coming clean about the whole scheme, claiming he's changed since the birth of his son. A disgusted Rebecca refuses to believe that Robert has changed. She refuses to allow Seb to turn out like him and slaps Robert for his betrayal.

Belle plays out Lachlan's voice message, leaving Chrissie in bits. Rebecca is keen for Robert to tell Chrissie exactly what he's been up to, but they're shocked to think that Lachlan might have killed himself. Rebecca tells Robert to hand back the shares then leave for good.

Aaron heads to the Dingles to tell Belle about Lachlan's threatening behaviour. What will he say when they confront him? Later Lachlan leaves a goodbye message for Belle and heads off with an electric drill.

Robert fears one of his secrets is about to be exposed when Rebecca casually says something. Then a terrified Chrissie interrupts with grim news about Lachlan

The police inform a distraught Chrissie there's no sign of Lachlan. She fears the worst!

Chrissie fears Lachlan's killed himself! In truth he is not too far away.

Lachlan's dodgy pal Gerry begins to feel more and more guilty as Chrissie slumps deeper into anguish... but why?

A stunned Lawrence faces the shocking truth!

Rebecca tells Lawrence that she can't stay in the village any longer and he sadly watches on as his daughter drives away with Seb.
Robert realises Chrissie is stalling for time and that Rebecca is moving away with Seb.
Aaron is left reeling when Robert is arrested on suspicion of fraud.
After Robert is driven off by Police, smug Chrissie tells Aaron not to feel sorry for him and is extremely satisfied to see her ex getting his comeuppance.

Thursday 30th November:
Robert is feeling determined, but what does the future hold for him? Aaron listens to Robert with strained patience. Gerry asks if Aaron thinks Belle will get back together with Lachlan while Robert despairs at the mess of his own making.
Chrissie refuses to tell Robert where Seb is and is still appalled by Lawerence's part in the deception and how easily he was taken in by Robert. Chrissie removes all traces of Robert from home farm

Part 2:
Doug turns on the Christmas lights but nobody is there to enjoy them except Aaron who is incredulous when he sees Belle and Lachlan looking cosy together.

Friday 1st December:
Liv tells Aaron he can do miles better and suggests Alex. Liv tells Chas about the 'fit doctor' that Aaron's been hanging around with. Chas tells her not to go messing with her brother's love life.

Monday 27th November:
Rebecca realises that Seb is missing and fears that Robert is responsible, so she tells Lawrence and Chrissie about Robert’s secret that he’s behind Rug Tree Bonds all along. Chrissie and Lawrence are left reeling by the revelation. Lawrence is gutted to realise Robert has been scamming them for months.

There’s lots of confusion when Rebecca returns to find Robert there with Seb. Although there’s an innocent explanation for Seb’s disappearance, Robert’s caught out when Chrissie confronts him about Rug Tree Bonds. Robert insists to the Whites that he now genuinely wants to be a better person for Seb, but will they listen now the truth is out? Chrissie can’t forgive Robert for what he’s driven Lachlan to. She promises to kill him if Lachlan turns up dead and kicks him out.


Tuesday 28th November:
Despite everything, Lawrence still has feelings for Robert. Chrissie witnesses Lawrence talking intimately with Robert and soon Chrissie and Rebecca realise Robert seduced their father. Rebecca and Chrissie feel betrayed when Lawrence admits that he’s sleeping with Robert. Lachlan’s delighted the truth’s come out. Lawrence reveals that Robert killed Tim Richards to protect the family. Chrissie and Rebecca are stunned by this revelation.

Aaron tells Robert that he needs to stop playing games and he has to be honest with Seb’s family if he doesn’t want to lose him for good. Aaron heads off and Robert’s left thoughtful. Lawrence learns that Robert staged Tim’s murder to get him on side. Robert reveals that he never actually slept with Lawrence. This causes Lawrence to lose his temper and start violently kicking Robert.

Gerry brings a bloodied and bruised Robert into Mill Cottage. Aaron’s shocked to see Robert like this and wonders who could have done this to him.

When Lachlan returns he claims to be sorry and it’s clear Chrissie is just glad to have him back. Lachlan’s triumphant that his plan worked out perfectly.

Liv is determined and pretends to fall and hurt her ankle as an excuse for Aaron to call Doctor Alex. Liv texts Alex from Aaron’s phone. Aaron’s surprised to see Alex when he makes a house call and he rejects him. Chas questions Aaron about Alex and asks him why he isn’t willing to date the doctor.



Tuesday 5th December:
Aaron realises there’s no reason not to pursue a relationship with Alex and gets him to come back to the village, admitting to the doctor that he is over Robert. How will Robert react when he walks in on Aaron kissing Alex?



Wednesday 6th December:
Liv drops Aaron in it with a clueless Robert when he plans a date with Alex. Aaron is on the warpath with Liv for telling Robert about the date. Following the kiss, Aaron tells Robert he hopes he’ll move on.

Christmas Day special press release:



Emmerdale has a festive treat in store for ITV viewers on Christmas Day!

In a departure from traditional storytelling, the multi-award winning, Yorkshire based soap will feature an episode devoted to the characters of Robert and Aaron, or Robron as they’ve affectionately become known by fans of the programme.

“Think 'Groundhog Day', and 'A Christmas Carol' with a little nod to the film 'Don’t Look Now' thrown in and that’s been our approach to the Christmas Day episode,” said Series Producer, Iain MacLeod.

Terrified by what is happening to him, Robert, played by Ryan Hawley, is pushed to his limits as he continually wakes on Christmas morning to a different reality. Why can’t he escape from this perpetual nightmare? And how will his estrangement from the real love of his life, Aaron, played by Danny Miller, manifest itself?

“Apart from the scary aspect to Robert’s situation, the episode is also heartfelt and hilarious in parts,” said Iain. “Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a healthy dose of the Dingles and a comedy cameo which we hope will please our viewers. Watch out for the ghost of Christmas Future as you might recognise them!”

Just as Robert is in sight on the road ahead, a row breaks out between Lachlan and Chrissie. With Lawrence and Rebecca in the back seats, seething Lachlan lunges to grab the steering wheel from Chrissie - sending their car hurtling into the path of an oncoming lorry.

Rebecca finally wakes up from her coma, leaving Lachlan worried that the truth will come out. Lachlan is relieved when Rebecca says that she can only remember being in the car and not the actual crash. However, Rebecca later wakes up and starts shouting at Lachlan how she knows what he did and will tell everyone.

Tuesday 6th February:
Rebecca heads to Home Farm, where she meets Joe Tate and tries to remember the crash. Robert and Lachlan take Rebecca back to the hospital, but is Lachlan’s secret still under threat?

Thursday 8th February:
Rebecca sees Robert with Seb for the first time.

Emmerdale has officially confirmed that Aaron's cousin Debbie will hire a man to throw acid on Joe Tate but in a case of mistaken identity (caused by Ross stealing Joe's car after they fall out once Joe discovers that Ross is a double-agent working on Debbie's behalf) Ross is the one who gets acid thrown in his face. This is presumably the hard-hitting story which Ross's portrayer Mike Parr has teased since last year.
