On the ITV website preview for 8pm Thu 17th June, it says...
"Aaron and Wayne sort things out and show signs of moving on with their relationship."
I'm assuming it's a typo and they meant Jackson...

Article from What's On TV for this week, 14th - 18th June.
Spend the night with me! Mutual attraction. Aaron hopes to take the next step with Jackson...
It's been over two months since Aaron met Jackson in a gay bar in Hotten. But, in denial about his sexuality, Aaron panicked when Jackson pursued him. He then beat up the builder, landing himself with community service as punishment. Now that Aaron's admitted he's gay to village, however, is he ready to take his relationship with Jackson to the next level?
'Aaron's scared of his feelings for Jackson,' says Danny Miller, who plays Aaron, 'but he likes Jackson and is attracted to him.'
This week, Aaron plucks up the courage to pursue Jackson, after the lad saves him from a violent encounter with Wayne, his homophobic community service workmate. 'Wayne takes great pleasure in winding up Aaron about being gay,' explains Danny. 'Wayne turns up at the garage, pick up a spanner and is about to attack Aaron, when Jackson races over and restrains him.'
Grateful for Jackson's help, Aaron buys him a drink, and the par have a heart to heart about Aaron's recent troubles. At the end of the evening, Aaron takes the plunge and asks Jackson if he wants to spend the night. Will Jackson accept?
'It's very hard for Aaron to takes this step,' says Danny. 'This is still all new territory for him and it feels very strange.'

Inside Soap Spoilers 22-25 June 2010
AARON’S SHAME
Has his mother wrecked his romance?
Aaron Livesy admits to his mum Chas Dingle that he spent the night with Jackson Walsh this week.
However he is mortified when he discovers she has had a word with his new beau and asked him not to break her son’s heart after recent events…
Having shared his bed with a man for the first time, Aaron is on cloud nine – especially as guardian Paddy is supportive of his decision to take the relationship to the next level. But when he tells Chas about what is going on, he reaction is mainly fear for the well-being of her son, and she decides to talk to Jackson.
Unlike the Chas of old though, she’s calm and collected as she tells the lad he needs to be careful not to hurt her son. She’s worried that any emotional trauma may lead Aaron to do something silly following the anxiety of his recent attempt to commit suicide.
When Jackson lets slip to Aaron that he and Chas have talked, the hot-headed mechanic sees red and is concerned that it will put Jackson right off him. Perennially wise Paddy tries to make the teen see that his mum was only trying to protect him with no malice intended – and the fact that Jackson takes the advice with good humour helps. But can Aaron forgive Chas?.
Tuesday 22 June 2010 – Aaron tells Paddy that he and Jackson are in a relationship.

Additional parts from the GT interview that I have "stolen" from f*ggy at the dS-forum, so all credits to him for typing it down:
GT: What's the reaction been from the public? I heard you'd had people shouting at you. Marc: I've had nothing but positive comments from everybody really. I'm only just part of Aaron's story, so I've only had bits here and there. But from what I've heard, speaking to the general public, and about the storyline as a whole, there's been nothing but positive feedback and there's lots of people saying it draws similarities to what they felt and what they went through. So if we can put that on the screen and show people what it's really like, then we're doing a good job. Danny: You do obviously unfortunately, being in a soap, get the people who can't seperate the soap from real life. Yo have had unfortunate homophobic comments, and that is quite sad because you think from a heterosexual's point of view, "What does it matter to you, if I was gay in real life? What's it got to do with you, it's none of your business". And I think it's given me more perspective to understand how gay men and gay women feel when that kind of thing is shouted at them. Bt other than that - that's the negative stuff - it's been really positive and everyone's been singing the praises of the storyline.
GT: I know that you're doing a scene tomorrow where you two get together. Is that difficult, given that you both have girlfiends in real life... D: I don't GT: Well, if you want to put out there which type you're into... D: (laughs) No, I have been seeing a girl, in fairness.
GT: How do you prepare for a scene like that? Personally, and not meaning any offence, I wouldn't want to kiss a girl so it must be slightly difficult to have to do something like that. D: Yeah it is, obviously, it's difficult because you're kissing the same sex and, you know, you're not attracted to them, you're not a homosexual and you're not attracted to them in that way. So it is hard, yeah, but you realise it's not real, so, it's all for TV and you've got to get on with it. M: For the first time we just had a chat about it. And we had a chat about tomorrow as well. It's just a case, like Danny was saying, it is difficult to kiss a member of the same sex because you're not attracted to them. But you know, it's got to be done. But the only way we can do it is the way we find most comfortable. So the only way of doing that is to sit down and have a chat and just try and make it look as real as possible, we don't want it to just look like it's two straight blokes kissing each other. We want to make it look like it's as real as possible, whilst getting over the difficulties that there are involved in it.
GT: And is this the start of a bigger relationsip for the pair? D: We do kind of know some stuff that's going out later in the year, that obviously we can't say about. Other than that, I think it's just you see tham growing closer and closer. But I don't know where it goes from there. We don't know if they will stay together or split up. But it much depends on how the bosses think it's looking on screen and it's their decision at the end of the day and whether that means they split up or stay together, that's just that.
GT: We've been told (a "source") that in SEptember they're still together, with Aaron struggling to openly be a couple. D: Yeah, he still will be and it will take him a long, long time to come to terms with it. Jackson is different because he has already accepted it, but Aaron can't for some reason...
GT: Are you aware of having a gay fan base at all because of it? M: I'm not aware of having had a gay fan base. I mean I've had gay people coming up and showing parallels between the stories and stuff like that. But I'm not aware of a gay fan base as such. D: I know the Gay radio UK [sic] are constantly talking about it and stuff. But I don't know how big, or if there is any gay fan base... Sarah the PR: There is. D & M: (laughs)
Obviously it's somewhat longer. But I guess the pictures are already worth bying it. Hopefully I can get it at the munich airport, and than I have 9 hours on my flight to vancouver to stare at the pics.
