I really enjoyed the episode, especially how they weaved the songs throughout, but I can't help but feel like I kind of ruined it for myself by overdosing on spoilers beforehand. ;D

I thought the esipode was done really nice. I'm also glad I didn't get my hopes up to much on the sex after all this is regular TV. I also love the Kurt and Karofsky's scene.

I might have died. It was everything and more, seriously.
As a fan of the show, I have to say the handled it so very delicate and beautiful and dare I say it, organic. There wasn't a single second in this entire episode that I wasn't bored, which is saying something, since I'm not the greatest Finchel shipper (anymore).
To me, the fact that Finn turned her down the first time was an eye-opener for Rachel. She saw that he really wants to do this for her, with her, and not just for the sake of sex. I think that has always been her insecurity. Finn's shower scene literally took my breath away, it was gorgeously done and in a way so disturbing, because you didn't exactly know what was going on. And then they cut to America, the single most perfect perfomance Glee has ever done, if you ask me. I've been playing it on repeat, so in love!
Kurt and Blaine, holy freaking heaven. Both Chris and Darren blew me away, Darren plays flustered so well. I wish I could put into words what I thought of everything they did but I can't. Chris plays a flawless bitchy!jealous!Kurt and we all knew long ago that Darren was very good at delivering an oblivious!Blaine. He's harmless, Blaine? Really? The car scene wasn't that much different than what I expected. From the day those spoilers came out I've been skeptic. We've never seen a full-on make out scene on Glee. Seriously, watch back to PuckleBerry/Finchel/Quam/Quick make-out' scenes in the first two seasons, it's always been closed mouth sweet kisses together with rolling on a bed a little. So the heavy making out, I wasn't buying it. I get that it looked like that from afar, but I wasn't surprised that it was just an attempt and it actually made it so much stronger for me. Kurt didn't want to be intimate with Blaine in this state and he said no to Blaine from the beginning, not somewhere in the middle of something. I also get Blaine from this point of view, not that I am saying what he did was right in any way, shape or form. It wasn't right, he was utterly wrong. But he was drunk. I've been drunk in my life and I have taken things too far while I was, I am truly convinced that Blaine was convinced he was making the right decision. Also, the second he got the chance to apologize to Kurt, he did. He made it so clear to Kurt that it was Kurt and Kurt alone, without saying those exact words, and that he wanted it to be special and that they should think about it and he was so ready to wait for exactly how long it would take Kurt to wait. He actually looked so genuinely happy to just be able to take Kurt to breadsticks, Blaine would never pressure Kurt into anything, ever and I'm sure of that.
The 'sex' scene was so impressive, it was beautiful, it was romantic and it was love. It truly was just love and I'm not sure if we've actually seen a scene like that on Glee, where the sex was about love. It wasn't with Quinn and Puck, it wasn't with Finn and Santana and it wasn't at first with Artie and Brittany.
This show has always been about being who you are and not afraid to be it and it helped a lot of people accept themselves and others around them and I really, really hope that last nights episode helped even more people to see that love is love, simple as that.
Because that was what is was. Love, simple as that.

I have to say, next to my Klaine and Kum heart, a little Kurtofsky light started burning. For now just friendship, but I'm not as freaked out with the relationship as last year anymore !

I am a Kurt fanatic and I don't care who he's paired with because he'll make it a good story regardless. But, after watching Kurt and Dave in that scene, it reminded me of all their previous scenes. There's so much chemistry between them without them even trying.
Even when Dave bullied him mercilessly, there was always something that made me want to see them more.
They're such opposites, (physically and emotionally) that it works. I know that the past was absolutely horrible and I don't want them to be a couple necessarily, but I wish that Glee would put Dave in the mix. Like Chris tweeted recently, it would make things interesting. And with the audience and 18-49 women numbers way lower than last season, it couldn't hurt to cause a little commotion.

I loved it. Yes, I was spoiled beyond believe but that really didn't prevent my enjoyment of the show. Particular highlights for me- probably because they'd not been mentioned so much in the spoilers were: Beiste's story. Dear Lord, it almost had me in tears from the start and by the line "I don't date pretty girls, I date beautiful women. Like you." I was gone. Can we PLEASE see more of this SL and Beiste in general, Dot Marie Jones is adorable and a wonderful actress. More about Mike and Tina Tina's description of her first time was lovely and the silent interplay between Mike and his mum was heartbreaking. (The bit with the dad I thought was needlessly dramatic and a bit clunky and pointless in this episode) Karofsky's moment aww damn it. Now I want him back, the cute lil bear cub. I loved the scene, it rang as authentic and true, baby steps towards acceptance indeed. And Kurt's line about "that's not who I am" was perfectly delivered- it could've been bitchy and mean, instead it was soft and gentle. Please can we bring Max back more? Sebastian Yes, I'm shamelessly attracted to cute guys (and am I the only one who gets a Steven Sandvoss in Latter Days vibe from him, it's his voice/ smile, not the character!). I LOVE that there looks like trouble ahead. BUt Blaine, seriously, why even say yes to meeting up again, when your face in the close-up said "oh shit, there's trouble" Finn THe majority of the time Finn bores the arse off me, but this week I think Cory found new levels and really made me feel his pain and turmoil- esp with the first sex scene, it was a nice spin for Finn (the guy) to be the one feeling like a sex toy. There were very few bits I disliked this week, and mostly only then because so much of the episode for me was flawless, that a bad line dropped like a fart in a lift (exhibit A " When you're in a chair"- urgh, way to headline the "worthy" moment marching towards the script; exhibit B Blaine dancing awkwardly in his room with his boyfriend there. Who does that, I mean, really?)

I remember we had final exams and my boyfriend and I were studying for them, I sometimes dance around silly during short breaks, I used to just do that with him in the room, that scene reminded me of that time sooooo much!

But did you do it that awkwardly? I mean I've danced, and had my boyfriend dance, in either a silly/funny way or a sexy way, but that dance was neither for me. Meh, maybe it's just my sheltered world, but it's weird, Blaine seems to still suffer the curse of the Glee Undefined- one week he's Mr Suave, knows everything and is cool as a cucumber, next week he's dancing like a geek and getting flustered by smooth talkers (when he himself was presented as the same...) Sorry. Sloppy character definitions are a bug bear.

Yeah I get what you mean. And yes, I could get extremely awkward, but it's who I am and he knew that. We would have normal conversations while I was doing 'Saturday Night Fever' moves, lol!
I don't know, I just see Blaine as sort of a goofball, who wears a mask to the outside world where he's smooth and all that. I feel like his mask falls around Kurt and that's why we see him like this.

I feel like his mask falls around Kurt and that's why we see him like this. I agree with that, but that's why it annoys me that the mask feel down in the scenes with Seb- like seriously, the original Blaine we met would not be phased by someone asking for brandy, or living in Paris... (to be honest, I feel that the writers write to the actor's strengths too much, or let the actor's own personalities "bleed" into the characters too much, rather than creating clearly defined characters and making the actors stretch themselves as actors more)

I didn't think it was a bad episode but I do think it was over-hyped. Yeah, I tend to agree. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't bad either. It had some nice (and some sweet) moments.

I loved the episode! Blaine dancing in the bedroom in front of Kurt was so corny and silly, it truly was a "what in God's name...? Aw, he's so cute"-moment, it's truly something I think you'd do in front of your boyfriend/girlfriend and that person only because you can do whatever you want in front of him or her; they still love you The whole Sebastian-thing makes me cringe, though; I really dislike how he's going after Blaine, but the fact that Blaine doesn't tell Sebastian to back the hell off, I think is 1) Sebastian truly doesn't mean anything or 2) he's curious, flattered and thus he might not love Kurt as much as we hope And Kurt and Dave in the bar.... Oh, be still my heart! It was such a sweet moment; in that scene he did every fanfic I've ever read about him as a great, sweet person justice! I really hope we'll see more of him being like this in the future; he could be a really good friend to Kurt <3 Plus I want to hear Dave sing! ;D The whole drunk and love making-thing... I thought it was a bit gut-wrenching, sad, good, well-played out and overall sweet, passionate and adorable So to wrap things up, the episode lived up to my expectations and more

I loved the episode! The whole Sebastian-thing makes me cringe, though; I really dislike how he's going after Blaine, but the fact that Blaine doesn't tell Sebastian to back the hell off, I think is 1) Sebastian truly doesn't mean anything or 2) he's curious, flattered and thus he might not love Kurt as much as we hope To me, Blaine was introduced as a seemingly(his facade did crack a little when he was telling Kurt about his bullies pissing him off) well put together and dapper young gentleman, who was very mature and had most likely had had previous boyfriends before ...but then 'Silly Love Songs' happened and he acted like a dork, singing a sex song in the Gap, thinking he was dating Jeremiah after only having coffee with him twice. Then Blaine said this to Kurt: "I don't know what I'm doing. I pretend like I do...and I know how to act it out in song, but the truth is...I've never really been anyone's boyfriend." So, even though Blaine is good looking, and even though he'd been popular and had all the solos at Dalton, I don't think guys were banging down his door for a date. Blaine's never had anyone actively pursue him before. Kurt didn't. He became Blaine's friend, put his heart on the line once ("I thought the guy you were going to ask out on Valentine's day was me.") and then waited patiently until his bird died ;D Blaine came around. Blaine said, "Sebastian doesn't mean anything to me," and I believe him... but I think he was flattered. Having this emotion doesn't mean that he loves Kurt any less. He's probably even physically attracted to him too, but that doesn't make him any less attracted to Kurt. He wants Kurt, he chose Kurt. I think that's all that matters. I also think Blaine is uncomfortable by how forward Sebastian is. I think he was okay with a little bit of complements and flirty looks, but when Sebastian went all out and told Blaine that he was hot, Blaine didn't seem to be into it anymore. And when he tried to steer the conversation away by mentioning his boyfriend, and Sebastian wasn't letting up, Blaine seemed to be in over his head, not knowing how to get out of the situation while still keeping his polite disposition. I like how when Kurt showed up, Blaine looked like he'd been literally caught with his pants down. He was acting so embarrassed and so guilty when he really didn't do anything wrong. I think he was even a little relieved that Kurt showed up, thinking that with his boyfriend being there, surely Sebastian would let up...Wrong. ;D Sebastian isn't as harmless as Blaine thinks. Blaine's vulnerable right now... telling Sebastian that he misses Dalton every day. At Mckinely, he only has (his heart )his Kurt, at Dalton, he had an entire group of minions friends. And then Sebastian says they should meet again, under the pretense of getting insight and "Warbler to Warbler" and Blaine is a people pleaser and is traditional..."once a Warbler, always a Warbler." He can't turn that offer down even if Sebastian makes him uncomfortable. New Behind The Scenes With The Warblers:

I know their history (I had a season 1 and 2 marathon a few weeks back), but I'm just afraid of what the writers might do

So, what do we think of last night's show? I'm undecided- whilst I loved the pushing to the fore of more characters (particularly Tina and Mike) the schmaltz level was a little too high for me. And the dumping of Sam, not only back into the storyline, but also with his expectations re Mercedes all seemed a little forced.
With Kurt and Blaine: I'm still "meh" about the Blaine and Finn thing as I have found it all incredibly forced and badly written- once again, writing to the plot and NOT to the character- both characters were acting out of character. And it really pisses me off when we see characters suddenly having a hobby (this time boxing) out of convenience to add drama to a scene. Lazy lazy lazy sloppy writing. Bet you £100 we never see Blaine boxing again.
I was also not happy about the lazy idea of Blaine being fought over, but I have to say I loved the snarky scene of Seb and Kurt- I think if anyone is going to pull that off, it's those two. It allows a good vent for the snarky Kurt we loved in series 1 which we haven't seen enough of since then.
And that's how Flippa "C's" it ;D

What bothers me the most about last night's episode is the reason Blaine lashed out at Sam was so uncalled for. I can remember him sitting in front of a mirror with Kurt, telling him to look sultry because he wanted to win Regionals with selling sex. Now either they are making Blaine a hypocrite, or they have a problem with contuinity. Hmmmm, I wonder which it is?
For the rest I enjoyed the episode. Enjoyed it, but not loved it.
